33 cl fles. Zwart bier met bruine schuimkraag. Geur: brownie on speed, vanille, zoet, kruiden, peper, speculaas, framboos met roze peper. Smaak: alcoholisch, chocolademelk, kruiden, zoet. Romig mondgevoel. Medium koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: licht kleverig, alcohol verwarmend. Lekker
Ordered online from the SAQ at their last online launch last Fall, shared with a friend last night, although a bit pricy, this type of stout is of highest quality, nice texture, extremely tasty. Fantastic beer!

N: coffee, cocoa, wafers
P: high viscosity, coffee, nutty, molasses, brown sugar, caramel, hint of char, hidden spice, quite sticky, alcohol is rather well hidden.
Small bottle shared at a private tasting at za razBIRAchi. Pours thickly hazy with some sludge, dark brown, not much head but some lacing. On the nose, massive coffee, bitter dark chocolate molasses and vanilla. In the mouth, more of the same, slightly frothy at first, some sweetness at first, then dry and bitter with a clean finish. Intensely flavoured without any extra sugar. Outstanding.

Aromatique développant des notes de vanille, de biscuit, de chocolat au lait, de brownies et de fudge. Un alcool puissant enrobe cette palette extrêmement complexe et s’associe à des houblons terreux, accentuant une intense torréfaction. Le liquide coule noir et dense comme de l’huile à moteur, se couvrant d’une épaisse mousse de couleur moka qui persiste de longues minutes. En bouche, le biscuit vanillé s’impose dès l’entrée et s’assortit d’un mélange de pruneaux et de figues enrobées d’un chaleureux alcool qui rehausse cette palette complexe et expressive. Le corps est dense et charnu, la texture veloutée et la carbonatation douce et bien mariée avec la sensation de plénitude que cette bière nous procure. Une grande stout.
Aromatics developing notes of vanilla, biscuit, milk chocolate, brownies and fudge. A powerful alcohol coats this extremely complex palette and combines with earthy hops, accentuating an intense roasting. The liquid flows black and dense like motor oil, covering itself with a thick mocha-colored foam that persists for minutes. As it penetrates the mouth, the vanilla biscuit is imposed and is matched with a mixture of prunes and figs coated with a warm alcohol that enhances this complex and expressive palette. Notes of regular coffee and milk chocolate complements this strong and rich liquid. The body is dense and fleshy, the texture velvety and the carbonation soft and well married with the feeling of fullness that this beer provides us. A great stout. World class.
Barwa czarna, piana niska, brązowa, po chwili pozostaje jedynie pierścień.
W aromacie mocna kawa, migdały, praliny.
W smaku na pierwszym planie bardzo gorzka czekolada, paloność również wysoka, dalej kakao, wanilia, orzechy. Dużo ciała, alkohol wyczuwalny, ale nie za mocno.

Aromat słodki intensywny kawa czekolada trochę alkoholu co razem daje praliny/ tiramisu. Świetny zapaszek. gęste treściwe w smaku wychodzi alkohol niestety. Dosyć spora palonosc wręcz popiolowa. Bardzo dobre piwo tylko ten alkohol do poprawy.
Brown dark head. Aroma of vanilla, chocolate, coconut, almond, cocoa, chocolate plum. Very sweet. Intensive taste of chocolate, coffee, vanilla, nuts, almonds. Full body, medium roasty bitterness, low carbonation. Awesome!
Аромат очень приятный, шоколадный черный, много кофе и зерен от него, немного какао. Есть намеки на ваниль и карамель. Цвет убер черный, пенки почти нет, очень тонкая и кофейная, но быстро падает. Вкус тяжелый, прежде всего терпкий от солода. Много зерен кофейных, шоколадки уже поменьше. Кислинки почти нет что странно, но горчинка при глотке основательная. Послевкусие со сладкими нотками, прежде всего ваниль, совсем немного карамели и что то вроде пирога с лактозой. Снова зерна и какао. В целом норм стаут, но есть лучше.

Very roasty with lot’s of coffee and lovely vanilla. Creamy, smooth and oily. Lovely stuff!
Noirceur total, collet brunâtre. Nez chocolaté et vanillé et un léger soupçon d'alcool. En bouche, c'est assez intense. Le chocolat et la vanille sont prédominant. L'alcool n'est qu'un complément venant pimenté le tout. Texture huileuse en bouche! Excellent breuvage.

330ml can. Black with a foamy brown head. Flavors are toasted bread, coffee, chocolate, vanilla, licorice and alcohol with herbal notes. Full body, soft carbonation, creamy texture.
A: hot dark chocolate aroma, with subtle but still present vanilla, licorice App: pitch black with thick mocha head and great lacing. T/p: full body with sweet short bitter finish. Silly texture. O: This is solid and perfect after shoveling snow like crazy today. The aroma is really great. Kinda of chocolate milk for adults.
Can. Rich, dense and pitch black. Light brownish foam on top that dissipate quickly. Very well balanced, creamy and dense! Nice texture for a can. Taste of darkness, richness of oatmeal, vanilla, coffee and sweet chocolate love! Will try to get back again!

Noir dense et opaque. Nez sucré et légèrement vanillé. En bouche, première gorgée parfaitement fumée et légèrement sucrée. Bien que je ne suis pas un amateur de bière au goût fumé, c’est tellement bien équilibré que c’en est plaisant. Le sucre vanillé balance tout. Un produit d’exception
Canette 355ml. Couleur noire opaque, mousse moka foncée onctueuse laissant une belle dentelle. Arôme de chocolat au lait, vanille, alcool. Goût de cacao, chocolat au lait, malt torréfié, amertume moyenne, pointe d'alcool. Carbonatation moyenne-faible, corps dense.

330ml can. Black with a tan head. Aroma of sweet vanilla, coffee, chocolate. Taste of sweet vanilla, coffee, milk chocolate, caramel, light roast. Medium-full body, smooth. Dessert-like.
A 330ml bottle with a best before date of 28th August 2024. Poured into a snifter glass. It was black in colour with a thin brown head that disappeared almost immediately while leaving no lacing. Aromas of light roast, chocolate, coffee, licorice and light herbal. Tastes of a light roast, chocolate, caramel, licorice, light burnt bitterness, and hints of vanilla. Creamy, full bodied with soft carbonation. Overall a nice wonderful sipper with good roast, chocolate and vanilla. Sweet with bitter notes on the finish.

Black colour with a tiny dark brown head. Malty, roasted, coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa, oily, smooth, very good!
Old classic style! Geek series are different, more interesting in taste. It may have been a punch in the face, now I cannot say that. Just an original stout with all its characters, coffee, sweety, raisins... I am not that satisfied.
Gorzka czekolada, pralinko orzechowe, ładna nienachalna wanilia. Gęste deserowe. Ładne piwo.
Corpo nero con testa nocciola. Profumo di malto tostato, caffè, vaniglia e frutta nera sotto spirito. Al palato si ripropone il bouquet aromatico con un tono di Porto. Finale ricco di vaniglia con un retrogusto decisamente luppolato. Buon corpo vellutato e poco frizzantezza.
Bottle. Pours a black oily body with a very small brown head. Gentle carbonation and lots of lacing. Aroma: Liqourice, dark chocolate, vanilla, coffee and tobacco. Taste is bittersweet with coffee and rosted notes forward. Alcohol is felt more than tasted, but you can feel the warmth of the ABV. Oily and sticky mouthfeel and a long bittersweet aftertaste

Black, brown head, decent lacing. Head tastes better than majority of beers I had. Good start.
Nose - chocolate, vanilla, cream perhaps. All condensed yet soft and emanating from the glass.
Taste - bittersweet, chocolate, cacao nibs. Dark chocolate/cacao aftertaste.
Alcohol non-detectable in both nose and taste.
Silky, oily, no carbonation.
