Danish: Funky IPA brygget i samarbejde med vores venner fra Grassroots.

English: India Pale Ale brewed with wheat and fermented with brettanomyces.

Ingredienser: Vand, malt (maris otter og hvede), umaltet hvede, humle (citra og centennial) og brettanomyces.

3.0 330ml bottle @ Printz. Hazy golden with a small white head, some lacing. Mild funky aroma, grass, hay, citrus and urinal cake. Smooth and light, medium carbonated. Citrus and Brett taste, not too wild and crazy. Finishing with floral bitterness.

3.6 500ml can. Thanks Guillaume for buying. Aroma: big nose of wheat, lemon, fresh hay, light spices. App: cloudy pale, medium white head with good retention and big lacing covering all my glass. Taste and palate: medium body, fluffy, harsh bitter finish. Overall: I bought this thinking it would be like any of HF ipa but it’s not. Far from it. Honestly there is nothing in this beer that reminds me of HF, doesn’t have its yeast or water aroma signature. Bitterness is also too present for my tastes. Good but far from any HF hoppy beers.

3.8 To piwo zostało tylko muśnięte brettami. Aromat jest jednak bardzo przyjemny, dominują tu słodkie owoce, wyraźnie pojawiają się winogrona. W smaku bardzo lekkie jak na ten styl przystało.

3.8 Bottle. Teku. Orange/yellow, medium hazy with medium, semi-thick, white head. Good lacing and head retention. Taste is citrus, lemon-like, nicely brett, which is pretty well balanced with hoppy character - mainly tropical fruits (mango and melon) and some resinous/piney character. Taste is medium bitter, semi-dry, intensifies in the end. Medium body, creamy texture, average to lively carbonation, finish is semi-dry, bitter with nice funky notes. In general there nice combination IPA with brett character. Nowadays it’s quite common, but first time when beer was released it was something new. Good one.

3.7 Draft. Fresh hay/grass, lemon/orange, and wheat malt aroma. Pale yellow with moderate head. Sweet floral/perfume, citrus, wheat malt, and moderately bitter astringent hay flavor. Good body.

3.7 330ml bottle from International Beer Store, Perth. Pours a hazy orange-yellow with a white head that is tightly packed and retains well. Aromas of tropical fruit and some barnyard and hay. Palate has a medium high carbonation and medium-light body. Flavours of tropical fruit, wheat malt character and a medium bitterness, with the Brett character coming through as it warmed. Not bad, but not as complex as I was hoping. Best drunk a bit warmer.

3.7 Jasno żółte, z dość obfitą pianą. Aromat raczej owoce/herbata, w głębi grejfrut. W smaku iglaki, cytrusy. ____ Złożone aromaty i fajnie, ciut inaczej przedstawiona IPA. Wysycenie niskie. Dobrze zbalansowana, bardzo delikatna i subtelna w dobie przechmielonych niekiedy przez niektóre browary piw tego stylu.

3.7 Hazy yellow, nice head, funky aroma, herbal, refreshing, fun, bitter flavor, funky, herbal, grass, nice, medium bodied.

4.2 Aromas of bitter, wheat or floral. Pale colour, creamy full bubbles foam. Bitter taste, there is tagerines, light lime peel and alcohol, still good drinkability, really bitter finnish. Interesting and tasty version of IPA.

3.1 Gulbrun klar med fingerhøyt hvitt skum. Luktet fersken, melon og grapefrukt. Middels fylde. Hveten er der, middels fylde. Sitrus, grapefrukt og ananas. Alkoholen kommer på slutttn.

4.2 On tap. Clear golden color with tiny white head. Aroma - Hoppy, wheat, floral, tangerine. Taste - Bitter, citrus, wheat, lemongrass, malt, peach.

3.7 500ml can from Boise Co-op. Pale golden, slight haze, abundant head, pretty tight. Tasting blind I would not guess IPA. Citrus, lemon aroma. Taste is a bit more tangy, slight hop bitterness, almost a hopped witbier. Second whiff is grainy, bready. Mildly dry. Bits of a golden, wit. Belgian pale all rolled into one.

3.3 Piana dosc gruboziarnista, ale raczej trwala. Nawet coś tam zdobi szkło. Po pierwszym niuchu jest zawód, aromat jest raczej herbaciany. Po ogrzaniu wychodzi nieco grejpfruta, minimalnie białe owoce. Brettow jest ilość minimalna. W smaku jest nieco lepiej, choć wciąż nie można powiedzieć , że zaszalano z brettami. Klasyczna IPA z niezbyt agresywnym nachmieleniem z subtelnym, brettowym zacięciem. No okej.

3.9 (On tap) Aroma:pineapple,citrus fruits,tropical fruits(mainly mango),slightly funky,sweet candy note. Appearance:very hazy ,yellowish color,small dense white head. Taste:dry, flavour of citrus fruits(mainly grapefruit),mango,pineapple,banana,hint of funkiness,dry hoppy finish. Palate:medium body,strong carbonation,nice thick texture. Overall:Very tasty fruity stuff. I dig it!

3.9 Golden little hazy beer, very good head on this one. Aroma: tropical fruits: mango, citrus, etc, hint of peach, hint of wild bretty notes. Taste: sweet with light bitter and a little bit of bretts. Palate: smooth, full bodied for IPA,very drinkable. Overall: really nice stuff.

4.0 Jasne zamglone, solidna piana osadzająca się na szkle. W aromacie mnóstwo chmielu, owoce, jakieś żywice; pełen bukiet IPA, do tego dochodzą nuty typowo brettowe, lekka stajnia, lekka ziemistość i sporo owoców kierujących skojarzenia raczej w stronę ananasa, brzoskwini i moreli. W smaku jest bardzo podobnie. Krótka, gładka goryczka, mnóstwo owoców, finisz przyprawowo-ziemisty, z odrobiną zbożowości. Mega wytrawne, gładkie i świetnie zbalansowane brett ipa. Niektórym nie podpasuje przez brak kwaśności, ale dla mnie to nawet zaleta.

4.0 Clear gold with big, white, frothy head. Floral and spicy, some moderate citrusy, pineapple and resiny notes, hint of hay, leather- funky notes. In taste it’s citrus, grapefruit with some floral notes and bit of spiciness, in the background there is plenty of funky, hay, leathery notes. Bitterness is average leaning on grapefruit side, quite long but pleasant. Medium carbonation, slick and creamy texture, dry, One of the best wheat beers I ever drank, tons of things happening, really interesting brew

3.9 jasne, żółte, zamglone, piana drobna i średnia, wysoka, trwała. Zarówno w aromacie i smaku: owocowe i dzikie, finisz wytrawny, goryczka zaznaczona wyraźnie z nutą przyprawową. Średnie plus nasycenie.

4.2 puszka/gęsta, grubopęcherzykowa piana podczas nalewania, utrzymująca się w postaci grubej czapki przez parę minut od nalania. jasnopomarańczowe z niewielkim nasyceniem. intensywny aromat cytrusów, kwiatów, nieznacznie dziki, w smaku pełne, goryczka raczej średnia, ale przyjemnie pozostająca na podniebieniu, szybko znika ze szklanki

4.1 The aroma is the best thing here- lots going on: bread dough, fruit, hops, candy, vinegar; all over the board, but nice. Flavor loses almost all of the hop flavor, though there’s good bitter. Nice balance amongst everything. Very drinkable, even if I think this one’s a tad old.

4.4 Piana obfita, drobna, dość trwała, zdobiąca nawet szkło. Barwa jasno złota, lekko opalizująca, z drobnymi pęcherzykami gazu. Aromat intensywnie cytrusowy i żywiczny, w tle odrobina siana i stajni. W smaku pół wytrawne, bardzo orzeźwiające, sporo tu iglaków, cytrusów a w tle odrobina nutek funky od brettów. Biszkoptowa podstawa słodowa fajnie kontrowana średnią do wysokiej goryczką, świerkowo grejpfrutową, nieco zalegającą, ale przyjemną, soczystą. Wysycenie średnie, drobne. Klasa IPA z brettowymi smaczkami, bardzo pijalne, świeże i intensywnie pachnące. Idealne na pragnienie, ale i dające wiele satysfakcji wszystkim szukającym degustacyjnych wrażeń.

3.6 Bottle, 330 ml from Svijet Piva. Shared with JFK10000. Pours golden yellow with white head. Wheat, citrus, zesty, brett, fruit. Finishes bitter. Quite refreshing.

3.1 Jak na IPA od Mikkellera to jest to slabe piwo, Srednia piana, szybko opada, jaskrawy kolor niczym pilsner. Leciutko mętne, bardzo minimalnie. A drozdze dzikie prawie nie daja się zauwazyc. Pijac lyk za lykiem zdawalo mi się ze pije dolnofermentacyjnego pilsnera no może z ciut większym chmieleniem. Rozczarowanie spore.

4.5 Wow, was für ein Aroma. Fett. Mit einem Blick auf das wunderbar ausehende Bier im Glas schnell den ersten Schluck vernascht. Und auch da weiß dieses AusnahmeIPA zu begeistern. Weizenbiervollmundigkeit & ausgeklügelte Tropichoppyness harmonieren perfekt. Absolut grossartig. Der Nachhall ist dann am Gipfel. Outstanding für ein IPA. Anders und doch wieder vereinend. Weltklasse!!! Schade das es die Grassroots Version nicht mehr gibt. 0,5 Dose aus den MIKKELLER BOTTLE SHOP in Kopenhagen. Ca. 5 Euro.

3.5 Good but the wheat tends to overshadow a bit. Aromas and flavors are hoppy and grainy. Some earthy and slightly sour notes. Cloudy appearance and a nice body. Full.

4.1 The question arose to me this evening, silently to myself... If I don’t take this opportunity to rate my 300th India Pale Ale in my fathers kitchen in the dead of the night... then am I L-I-V-I-N @ all? Pours real pretty... Hazy & yellow with a big fluffy white head & generous lacing on the glassssssssssss. The aroma is typical of the nouveau IPA, hop forward with plenty of melon & orange rind. It’s lightly sweet smelling but is entirely inviting. Goodness the flavor on this is spot on to me... Punchy but mildly bitter... Totally hop forward & on the dry end of the spectrum. Loads of orange zest, melon & passionfruit. It’s got some mild pine way in in the back.. It’s delicious and remarkably crushable. Lovely

4.3 Nagy, nagyon tartós hab, sápadt (búzás), borostyán szín. Illata összetett, ipás, búzás, savanykás-citrusos. Jól megkomlózott, ipás, citrusos, gyantás, mellettük enyhe banános, búzás jegyek, plusz egy gyenge savanykás komponens. Utóíze először savanyú, ami fokozatosan átcsúszik kesernyés-ipásba, alattuk pedig folyamatosan ott a búza, és jó hosszú ideig kitart. Közepesen testes, jól csúszó sör. Ez a sör szenzációs. Elképesztő harmonikusan csúsznak egybe a stílusok, semmi nem lóg ki, semmi nem tör dominanciára. Bármikor meginnám.
