3.7 Rami Rami is drinking an Invasion IPA by Mikkeller at Warszawski Festiwal Piwa 2017 A la orval, ale bardziej dzikie, owocowosc cytrynowa. Nieco apteczne posmaki. Bdb
3.7 Bottle during Mikkeller massive bottle share; hazy yellow pour with a bubbly white head, aroma has big farmyard action, metallic brett, lemon sherbet.
3.8 (Bottle) Cloudy, pale yellow opaque body with a big, frothy white head. Yeasty aroma with pear, bread, peach, slightly nutty, some lemon; musty. Light- to medium-bodied, bubbly. Flavor is sharp and acidic; mild lemon-grapefruit, with some stone fruit; grass. Strong but not overpowering bitterness; refreshing.
4.0 An initial strong aroma of rotting pineapples quickly disappears and leaves a classic brett. The taste is fruity-sweet malt and funky brett while any hops present at bottling time 21 months prior to my consumption are gone. But still very nice.
3.6 FDP Backlog. Pineapple, leather, citrus, spruce, herbs. Medium bitter, tart.
3.7 Bottle at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is bretty yeast, citrus fruit, light hop. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet with a light crisp fresh tart citrus hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
3.8 Hazy yellow with medium white head. Aroma is grass, hops and flowers. Taste is hops, grapefruit and lime
3.9 Bottle. Aroma of citrus, grass, tropical with notes brett. Medium bitter lingering fruity bitterness. Light and juicy. Fizzy.
3.8 Bottle. It pours very hazy yellow with a white head. Fruity and piney hops with s great bretty kick. Dry bretty flavor with bitter citrusy and fruity hops. Long fruity and dry brett finish.
3.6 Bottle. (thanks SirLimpsalot) Hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma and taste of brett, fruit, funk and light malt. The body was medium and the finish rather long.
3.5 @ Gyllenbock 17-5-20: en ganska rakt fram farmhouse utan större konstigheter. Tydlig brett och fin balans. Friskt och gott.
4.0 Backlog, ocena przepisana z untappd, w ramach uzupełniania profilu na ratebeer. Fajne połączenie brettów (skóra, siano, lekka przyprawowość, pieprzność) i świeżej chmielowości.
3.9 Bottle Aroma-barnyard, fruits Appearance-golden, hazy, white foam, Taste-medium bitterness, light sweetness, lightly sour, Palate-medium body, sticky, average carbonation, long finish, Overall-very good
3.8 Bottle shared in Salisbury pre stag weekend. Pours mostly clear gold with a big, foamy white head. Huge poopy brett nose, some citrus hops, diapers. Light to medium sweet flavour, lightly acidic, with soft lemon, lots of funk, ample poop. Medium bodied with average to lively carbonation. Dry in the finish, with buckets of brett, poop, some more citrus notes. The brett funk is very strong in this one. Fun stuff.
3.7 (bottle) hazy yellow colour with a tall white head; aroma of funk, fruit; rich, dry flavour, long light bitter finish; nothing of IPA character, but a good brett saison
3.9 Bottle. Hazy bright golden pour, small head. Nose is nice and hoppy, fruity note. Taste crisp and clear, less hoppy than expected, but a clear citrus note. Medium body, soft carbonation.
3.9 Bottle. Pale yellow hazy body with white head. Aroma is nice fruity brett with some pines. Taste is dry earth with malts and fruity barnyard. Aftertaste is dry bitter. Nice one.
3.9 750 ml bottle. Cloudy yellow color with medium white head. Smell’s nice hops with some kind citrus. Taste are fine bitterness with rich taste of spices and some grass notes. Long aftertaste some pleasant bitterness with grassy citrus and coriander. Fine pleasant IPA.
3.6 Bottle at WTF 3. Pours a cloudy yellow with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is grass, pine, brett. Medium body, pine, citrus, brett, light bitterness, very good.
4.2 750ml looking bottle shared by Patrick. Hazy, unfiltered orange yellow body. Attractive steady white head. Great mouthfeel. The Brett tones work here. World class. Big juicy hops balance out the yeast. Really good.
4.8 Wow now that is a killer collaboration beer! The aroma is mainly grapefruit and some other fruits a little bit of mint yeast and malt. Color is a hazy Amber with a large foamy frothy off-white head and some lace. Flavor is like nose just the right amount of carbonation little more sweet than bitter and just enough tartness to make it perfect. Excellent finish. I could drink the hell out of this.
4.1 Bottle from Tanakaya shared at Mikkeller and Friends. Funky brett forward nose with good barnyard character and a touch of yogurt. Hay and grass with some lemon custard as it warms. Easy drinking with good carbonation. Booze is hidden so well. Dry finish with a touch of hops and funk. Great.
4.5 Many a bottle, as this is one of my favorite Brett IPAs along with the Femme Fatale series and Modern Times’ Comet Rider. The brett, as per normal for Anchorage, is done to absolute perfection. Juicy tropical fruit notes balanced against the brett funk. Drink ability scarily high considering the alcohol content. One of my favorite beers hands down.
3.7 Bottle from Anchorage brewing, hazy light yellow beer, frothy white head, chunky lace. Aroma is spruce, lychee, hint of funk. Taste is grapefruit, passion fruit spruce, mango. Palate is light, carbonation moderate, with a hoppy IPA finish.
4.4 Murky orange gold pour. Aroma of funk, tart lemon, pine tree, pepper, and crack crumb. Dry palate. Very good. Slightly drier than Orval, but I would say it rivals that beer. Not disappointed.
4.0 750 ml bottle. Batch #4. Pours a hazy effervescent yellow with a loose white head. Piney, funky, sour. Dandelions. Dry, bitter finish. Complex.
4.5 A 750ml caged and corked bottle from Batch #4, bottled in October 2015. Poured into a Mikkeller long stemmed tulip glass. It poured a cloudy golden straw yellow colour with a two finger white head with good retention and left great lacing. Aromas are big juicy tropical mango and pineapple, citrus lemon, lemon peel, lime, orange, some brett and funk with a hint of black peppercorn and herbs. Taste is quite similar to the aromas with tropical mango and pineapple shouting out followed by lots of citrus lemon and orange, peel and rind. There’s some light farmhouse funk, hay and pepper spice on the finish. Dry, light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, just brilliant. Brett doesn’t always work, but it works so well in this Farmhouse IPA. Very nice tropical and citrus aromas and taste that worked well together and coupled with the light farmhouse funkiness was very balanced. The 8% abv just did not feel like it was there and I was drinking it like it was a sessionable beer. A must buy beer in my book.
3.8 Bottle batch 4. Hazy golden color with white head. Citrus, dry hay, dusty, earthy brett, dry spice aromas. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Nice citrusy, pine hoppy flavors with dry bread, dry spices--tangy citrus finish__very tasty.
