Igazából belgian ipának is hívhatnánk. Hosszú utóíze a korty folytatása. Közepesen testes. Nem igazán jött be.
3.5 Bottle. Pours clean, yellow golden with white head. Aroma is citrus, some peach, funk. In taste crisp, lightly sour with dry and light bitter finish. Refreshing.
2.8 Bottle at home. Hazy yellow colour, with a small white head. Nose of slight sourness with a hint of slight tart, and green apple. Taste is slight acidity, with a very strange, bitter, astringet mouthfeel. Meh.
3.3 Tap at Mikkeller Tokyo. Light horseblanket, citrus and pepper on the nose. Average carbonation with slightly earthy taste on the palate. Pithy bitterness on the finish, but not overly bitter. Pretty straightforward sessionable ale.
3.4 Draught at Mikkeller Tokyo. Lemony hops, mandarin, fairly light-bodied, mild earthy notes, gentle bitter finish. Not very Belgian, maybe better as a summer refresher.
3.6 Bottle. Aroma and taste of fresh citrus and sweet tropical fruits, honey maybe - but also and off-flavour of earth and wood from Brett. Exellent sourness and light bitter finish. Dry. Texture is watery and refreshing.
3.4 Pours a clear light yellow brew, with some lambic-like head. Smells like a Belgian pale ale, with its characteristic yeast, plus some feint funk, lime, lemon zest. The taste is something between a berliner weisse and an unblended lambic, watered down a few times. It’s alright for a warm summer day, I guess.
2.9 Botella. @El Cabanón, Avilés 05/12/2015 Color amarillo, sabores especiados levadura. cuerpo medio
3.2 Bottle from the Mikkeller Christmas Calendar. Cloudy golden with small white head. Funky citrus aroma, very light malt background. Flavour is citric with light but slightly rough and bitter notes of brett.
3.2 Bottle at home. Brett, but that's basically it. No malt body, no hoppiness, no nothing. Too wattery really.
3.2 0.3 flaske.Gylle med hvitt skum, Aroma fruktig grapefrukt, humle, Smak syrlig. co medium
3.4 Bottle marked It’s alight, contributed by OE at OSB 04.11.15. Cloudy straw colour. Off-white head lacing. Aroma and taste of grapefruit, citrus, fresh tropical fruits and succade. Quite dry. A hint of pine in aftertaste.
3.5 slightly opalescent colour, moderate sized white head; aroma of fruits like peach, barnyard, musty, caramel and floral notes; bitter-sourish taste with peach, slight citruses, dry white wine notes and hints of honey; correct beer
3.4 Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 28A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch unknown (BBF 10/06/18). AROMA: mild nice and refreshing aroma with citric and slight acidic notes, a slight malty background and some brett notes (barnyard). APPEARANCE: gold color and just slightly hazy. average white head with moderate retention. TASTE: very mild brett flavours with earthy and slight barnyard notes. citric/tropical fruit notes present. medium-low bitterness with a dry and bitter finish. PALATE: light body due to high attenuation with moderate carbonation. OVERALL: a nice brett belgian ale and very sessionable.
3.5 Pale golden color with coarse, and very much alive foam that reminds most of all about the foam from a champagne bottle. The aroma is citrus fruit and a strange musty flavor, which is not really good. Now I had researched a little earlier and therefore know that it is caused by the use of yeast culture Brettanomyces. The taste is first lightly, later to assume a sweet / bitter mouth feel with a very dry aftertaste. Only a little hop in the aftertaste makes it a little reminiscent of beer. A touch of lemon reminiscent of one lambic, but is nevertheless its own type. A very distinctive beer, which many probably will not care about. I find the other hand, some positive trends in it, and I think it will be good on a hot summer evening as an aperitif.
2.9 Golden (~6 EBC) pretty clear, rocky white head. Aromas of orange peel zest, some straw/hay and funky barnyard develop. Light lively, watery, light bodied. Some biscuity sweetness with a present bitterness and pronounced funky tartness. Short light dry finish.
3.3 Bottled as It’s Alright! Hazy amber with a lively head. Sour, ripe fruit on the nose. Somewhat thin and sharp body. Taste is grapefruit and blood orange. Long, dry finish.
2.8 Old rating rerated 27.08.2015, 0,33l bottle (as It’s Alright!) @ home: Big slightly fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry, leafs, lawn, hay, mild brett, minerals, citrus peel, hops. Taste is dry and slightly harsh, bark, paper, weeds, hay, harsh brett, citrus peel, grass, leafs. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh mouthfeel. Fair enough.
3.7 Tap at Fermentoren Aarhus. Pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has yeast, spice, mustard powder, pale malts, hops, fruity. Taste is hoppy, light, fresh and slightly sweet and floral. Bitter finish, high carb. Fresh stuff.
3.3 pour pale with a fine white head. peach, and ananas, aroma, taste medium bitter. really dry mouthfeel medium bodied. average carbonation. light bitter finish
3.2 duft lidt sur lidt æble smag meget læt i smagen lav fylde sur eftersmag citrus smag og rumlig bitter i eftersmagen
3.1 Pours almost clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma has some barn, bit citrus, quite musty. Bottle
3.2 On tap at Mikkeller Viktoria. Slightly hazy golden with white head. Aroma malty, slight yeast, light fruit and light wheat. Taste is similar, light body, yeast, with a malty finish. Some herby hop notes.
3.2 Old rating…It’s alright bottle. Nice and light sour, nothing amazing. Brett, citrus, little funk, really crushable though…but who can session at that price?
3.5 Bottle at home. Pours golden, nose is bretty, citrus, taste is funky, dry, fruity.
3.5 33cl bottle with expiry 29/11/15. This tastes (and looks) basically like an attenuated Orval with a light maltiness, peppers, citrus (oranges mainly) and subtle Brett funkiness on the nose. Taste is lightly bitter and faintly sour with a crisp spicy dry hop finish. Palate is lightish and sessionable with a lively mouthfeel.
3.5 nice. After this the mouthfeel of the beer is a tiny bit of a letdown. A little too much carbonation for such a light palate. The flavor is nice, though. More sweet malt/fruit aspects and a bit of lambic & farmhouse funk. Finishes fairly clean with a bit of grain. Glad I tried one, but for $6.49 - not again..."
2.9 Pours a clear light orange brew with a small white head with poor retention, aroma is moderate sweet and moderate acidic with apple, bret, cítrics and berries, medium bodied, flavor is moderate sweet, moderate acidic and moderate bitter with a acidic finish and a short aftertaste, some off flavors, not good, the worst mikkeller beer ive ever tasted.
3.0 There was a slight sulphur aroma when I cracked this one which was a little off putting. Taste was well rounded between a little sour yeastie notes, pale almost sweet malts, and a freshness from the hops
