2.8 Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Max. Slightly hazy golden with white head. The aroma has notes sweet fruits, citrus (kumquat) and berries. Bitterish and sweetish flavor with notes of citrus (lemon, kumquat) and citrus peels. Medium-bodied.
3.1 Bottle sample at a tasting, thanks! Yellow golden with a white head. Aroma of citrus, herbs, tropical fruits. Sweet, fruity, citrus, lemon, berries, dry finish. Light-bodied, refreshing.
2.9 Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Max. Hazy golden. Slightly fruity aroma, yeast, a bit of citrus, slightly sweetish, slightly tart, lemony, light bitterish note.
3.7 5%ABV. Kolsch. Poured out gold. 6 SRM. Nose has same sweet, malty, slightly herbal aroma. Reminiscent of chin chow. More relatable aromas might be lemon-lime soda with ice cold Sprite being the most obvious. Mouthfeel is carbonated and beery. Palate has sweet pale malt with biscuits in the aftertaste. Floral in the palate with orange blossoms, honeysuckle and elderflower. Hops are herbal, grassy and again reminiscent of oldenlandia water. The lime for me in this one is in the hop finish with lime peel and kaffir lime zest. Overall this tasted almost exactly like the shark pig beer.... strange but not surprising for Mikkeller which is everywhere, doing everything.
3.1 Leves aromas citricos. Buen aspecto, cristalina y buena retencion de esùma. En boca un poco plana, pero muy bebible
3.2 330 ml bottle. hazy orange colour with unstable head off. Aroma of lime, citrus fruits. Taste of citrus fruits, the beginning is sweet than light sourness. Fresh summer beer
2.9 backlog. Slight lime in the aroma, with some sweet grassy malty tones. Malty finish with some hints of sweetness.
2.9 Bottle 30cl. Poured into a shaker. Hazy medium amber, good two finger creamy white to off-white head, half-way lasting, good lacing; fruity aroma, orange, lemon, pale malts, grass; taste medium sweet, light sour and slightly bitter; lime, hoppy, metallic notes, average duration, aftertaste mild sweet and sour, mild bitter finish; medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation; disappointing turbo radler.
2.9 Bottle. Lemon-lime malt and straw aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Lightly sweet lemon-lime, biscuit malt, and mildly bitter grass flavor. Decent body. Okay.
3.0 Backlog, early amateur rating. From tap in Copenhagen 131015. Sweet and malty with citrusy notes.
2.5 C’est tout léger et tout citronné ... Se boit très facilement mais sans véritable joie ...
2.9 Bottle: Pours hazy, honey-gold with a tall, off-white head. Strong lime....cut grass aroma. Sweetly lime-flavoured....a touch of bread. and grass. Not a bad flavor, at all.....but too watery.......sort of like a Radler.
2.8 How : bottle Appearance : clear light golden, small white head. Aroma : citrus peel, grass and some bread. Palate : thin body, average carbonation.
1.8 Milder Antrunk, geringfügig herb, wässrig. Zum Ende leicht bitter, ansonsten dünn und für Mikkeller Verhältnisse unfassbar schlecht. 7/6/6/5/7/5
2.5 Rating #1313 - 4.11.2014 On tap at @revolutionyeg. Clear golden pour with a weak white foam. Aroma is 7up.Crisp mouthfeel dominated by sweetness of citrus, mild sour note, mild bitterness. Nothing exciting.
2.8 Bottle. Hazy light gold, lively white head. Yeasty, pale malts, very muted citrus character, dry finish. Surprisingly bland.
3.1 Bottle 33 cl. Hazy orange color with a good foam. Aroma: fruits, baked pear and citrus. Aroma: caramel with fruits and lemon, moderately carbonated.
3.1 Hazy amber pour, lively white head, decent retention, little lace. Crisp citrus aroma, yeast. Taste is mildly tart, lots of the lemon lime. Light body with lots of carbonation.
3.3 Draft at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a slightly hazy amber with a frothy white head, lots of lace and plenty of bubbles. The aroma is light crisp yeast. The flavour is light sour with a watery, light mineral, light citrus fruit and a hint of light toffee on the palate. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Rather light all round but quite refreshing.
2.8 330ml bottle from the Mikkeller webshop. Pours hazy copper with creamy off-white head. Aroma is faint citrus. Taste, much like the Mikkeller Raspberries & Cream I just had, falls short of what you expect from Mikkel. It’s a perfectly nice beer, but you find yourself yearning for sharp lime, soft lemon rind and lingering bitter finish. All you get is, well, a pleasant beer. Nothing more.
3.2 33cl bottle from Melgers. Thick white head. Very hazy golden pour. Some lemon and lime. Decent.
3.2 Bottle, 330 ml at Svijet Piva, shared with JFK10000. Pours orange with white head. Moderate citrus fruity and quite drinkable, spicy, dry finish. .
3.3 Silty, yeasty and sweet anise / fruity aroma. Nice clear yellow colour with a nice white head. Sweet and sour flavours, a bit salty and you definetly get a good bit of the lime and lemon. Well balanced and fresh! Sour tinckles on the tongue. Dry yeasty aftertaste.
2.0 Bottle at S&G Mikkeller tasting. APPEARANCE: light clouded blond beer, small stable white head. NOSE: lime, little hoppy. TASTE: lime, little hoppy, lemon.
3.2 Bottle. Golden pour, white head. Aroma of lime and some yeast. Taste is fresh, with lime, soft yeast, grass and a mild sourness. Very drinkable and nice on a hot day.
2.6 Bubbly and a bit lemonade like. Lemonish. Refreshing during sweaty summer day. Bad juice.
2.0 Draft. Really crappy stuff here. Golden pour, flavor is of a crappy lager mixed with sprite.
2.8 A mid amber gold coloured beer with a really frothy white head. A light citrusy aroma, with the expected lemon and lime. Dry mouthfeel. A weak, bitter, citrusy taste, there is lemon and lime, some spice, and a hint of grass, but nothing outstanding. The finish is bitter and citrusy.
2.9 The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: pours light golden with a white head. Slight lime but mostly very refined lager. Taste is slightly citric. A bit sweet. A tad grainy. Very clean. Not very exciting.
3.0 Aroma is lemon/lime, spices and citrus. The flavor is lemon/lime, citrus, malts and a mildly spicy finish.
