3.9Bottle. Pours clear amber color with quickly disappearing head. (I think the alcohol is eating it) Nose is sweet citrus and a lot of malt. Taste is similar once you get through the alcohol burn.
3.9DWF; Pours hazy orange with off-white head. Nosetrils fills with tropic fruity, malt, alchol, citrus and caramel sweets. Taste is heavy sweet, alchol, heavy bitter, balancing and lasting. Body is full, texture is creamy, carbonation is flat to soft.
3.2DWF. Hvit skum. For mye alkohol. Karamel. Aroma av alkohol. Skuffa. Hadde gledet meg til denne

3.9Ins Glas ergießt sich ein orangegoldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch intensiv hopfig malzig, fruchtig. Geschmack sehr malzig herb, stark fruchtig, intensive Bitterkeit.
2.4At a tasting, thanks Chula, smallish head, very hazy light orange colour, aroma of honey, marmalade, some fruitiness, strong maltiness, strong cakey maltiness, with some caramel, some bitterness but not quite enough, too heavy and unbalanced, lots of alcohol coming through. Not good.
2.6Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks Chula. Cloudy orange. Aroma of cookie-ish malt, stale hops, caramel, a bit of honey and light fruitiness. Flavor of caramel and cookie-ish malt, stale hops, some bitterness and an alcohol burn. Alcoholic heavy mouthfeel, a bit oily.
3.8Poured from bottle. Hazy orange color with small head. Aroma: fruity. Flavor: sweet in beginning following by bitterness which continue till aftertaste. High alcohol contents is well hidden. Full body with low carbonation.
4.0Bottle kindly donated by Dohny, many thanks. Hazy orange color with medium off white head. Malty, hoppy aroma. Sweet malty taste with nice hoppy kick. Long bittersweet, more sweet than bitter, finish. Tasty.
4.1Bottle, courtesy of dohny. Pours hazy orange, white head. Aroma is citrusy, honey, sweet, sugar, alcohol. Taste is hoppy, medium sweet, medium bitter, alcohol is warming, hopps, orange, malty, orange peel. Nice bittersweet hoppy finish. Great one.
3.5Well, i’ts probably the most alcoholic dipa i’ve ever had. Sweet and hoppy. VERY sweet and hoppy. Big bitterness on the tail. Actually not as hard to drink as some other 14%’s but still not that enjoyable to drink. Hard to judge on this one.
3.2bread, cereal, grass, floral, orange, cloudy, brown foam, heavy cloying sweetness, medium bitterness, medium body, creamy, bitter,
3.8I swear this thing has an almost porter feel to it. Viscous mouth feel. Malt. However there is a noticeable lack of pungent hop preesence. Also pretty tight bouquet. There are faint floral notes.
3.7From the old notes, so this is not a full rating more just a mark to myself that I have tried this one. About the beer: it was nice double IPA, but it wasn’t anything special.
3.9Murky orange/brown beer with short and thin head; looks bit like honey. Really nice aroma has dark bread, roasted malt, pure and bit minimalistic. Heavy, oily sweet palate with lots balancing bitterness, low carbonation, long bitter sweet roasted finish, french coffee also, herbs. Nice one, lots of character and nuanced with interesting mix of flavors.
Rica.
3.3(330ml bottle) Pours a hazy golden body with a medium white head. Aroma of orange, grapefruit, caramel, herbs, pine, and delicate florals. Flavor of grass, herbs, grapefruit, dank, pine, almonds, and some canned pineapple with a dry, bitter finish.
3.5On tap at Taps in Petaluma. Pours a hazy pale color with a small head. Still some bubbles for such a high alcohol. Whiskey spirit flavor from the alcohol. A high alcohol harshness.
3.2Hazy cloudy orange. Huge caramel nose, worried this is going to be a syrupy malt bomb due to the alcohol content. Yep, thick as hell, very syrupy, alcohol is apparent, but not abrasively sweet like I expected. Hop bitterness hits, then disappears. This is a silly beer.
3.9Ppurs hazy orange. Aroma is ripe tropical fruit, caramel, figs, honey, hay. Taste is caramel, honey, tipe tropical fruit, figs, booze. Quite well balanced.
3.5Pours hazy orange amber with low white head. Aroma of mango, apricot, caramel, very fruity! Taste is veeery sweet with loads of toffee and caramel followed by a boozy bitter finish. Body is rich and creamy with flat carbonation.
3.3Draft at Beer Run. Pours a clear amber color with a thin frothy head. Poor head retention. Aroma of candied citrus and toffee malts. The taste is the same with some hop bitterness. Medium bodied, low carbonation, lingering bitterness, fairly hot. Overall much like a barleywine.
2.9Bottle. Hazy amber body with a medium head. Light hops, booze, caramel. It’s way to boozy, almost a drain pour.
3.7Bottle at kaisla, helsinki. Hazy orange color, small white head. Aroma is bomb of fruits, hops, malts, hint of alcohol. Sweet malty body with big hops, fruits, quite balanced body, hint of alcohol.
4.0Draft at DoG Street Pub. Chunky!! This is a big, thick soup of murky, river-bottom orange mud. Drinks with the consistency of an evening stew. Thick with unripe citrus rind and earthy, dirty bite. Thick with sweet malt in the back, too. Crazy stuff. (#5273, 10/1/2013)
3.1Bottled. Poured cloudy medium golden with a well-retained, creamy, sticky off-white head. The aroma picked up old-ish citrusy hops and peppery alcohol over honey-kissed bready notes.. smelled big, but not 14% big. The flavor found honey, corn syrup, and caramel at the core with spicy pepper, broken-down citrus, and oxidation around.. finished boozy and hot with broken-down hops and mostly honeyed malts. Heavy-bodied with moderate carbonation.. this was probably better at some point.
3.8From tap at Mikkeller bar SF. Golden with almost no head. Thick, sirupy with bitter hop aroma and taste. Very sweet aftertaste of honey and warm alcohol.
4.0On tap at Mikkeller Bar in SF, crazy strong IPA 14% hops galore but still drinkable and delicious
