3.4 Deep brown/black with a short-lived head. Fairly fizzy as stouts go. Rich coffee flavour, slightly boozy. Very nice.
4.0 35,5cl blikje via Streken, Breda Alcoholpercentage van 10,9% Uitgeschonken in Jopen glas Uiterlijk: zwart met kleine crèmekleurige schuimkraag Aroma en smaak: neus is zoete chocolade, smaak is koffie, gebrande mouten, chocolade, bittertje Conclusie: goede Imperial stout
4.1 Can at Carlsens Kvarter. Black with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, licorice and dessert wine. Sweet roasted flavour with licorice and chocolate.
4.0 Can, thanks rayaron. Opaque black, viscous, beige head.Umami, coffee, chocolate aroma. Sweet, chocolate cake, toffee, cocoa, liquor, mocha, bitter and alcohol finish. Full-bodied, smooth, oily. Great desert beer.
4.0 At a tasting, many thanks, almost no head, opaque black color, oily pour, aroma of cocoa, vanila, milk chocolate, flavor of chocolate cake and mocha with a warming alcoholic sensation that blends in very nicely, empathic silky sweetness. Amazingly tasty, really really good.
3.9 Near black with small tan head. Roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and vanilla. Tastes robustly of coffee and maybe a weasel away from greatness, but still very good.
3.8 From backlog. 0,3 litre Can from Systembolaget Charlottenberg. Black with light brown head. Roasted malts, coffee, Chocolate, alcohol, vanilla
4.1 Blikk. Black de color, medium brown creamish head, lasting not so long but stays at a small size. Sweet very roasted maltiness and molasses with coffee and chocolate alng woth dark fruits in the aroma. Good palate, filling sticky. Sweet flavour indeed, lots of roasted malt, molasses like, chocolate, dark fruits, alcohol... thick and heavy...

Taste is slightly sweet sour-ish mineraly, dark sugar, sour coffee, bark, minerals, alcohol, dark malts, burnt toast, soil, harsh hops, dried dark fruits, salty licorice, cough syrup. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly sweet sour-ish boozy mouthfeel. Fair enough.
4.0 On tap at OMBF 2018, Krakow. Black with tan head. Roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, vanilla. Medium+ sweetness, moderate bitterness in finish. Soft texture. Medium to heavy bodied.
4.8 70 cl bottle at home. Pours oily black with a small mocha head. Smell is somewhat sweet in between dried fruit and chocolate. Taste is all coffee with notes of roasted coffee beans. Great beer!
3.9 Provsmakning på Örebrewfest, Örebro. Kolsvart med ljusbrunt skum. Söt i smak och doft med tydlig kaffe och choklad.
3.8 Can at home. Pours opaque jet black with a small, frothy tan head, short retention. Moderate rich chocolate and roast malt, moderate coffee, prunes, dates, light vanilla and a sweet finish. Full body and medium carbonation.
4.4 On tap at Mikkeller and Friends in Reykjavik, Iceland with blonderedhead. Trying to ignore the shock of the price point and enjoy a well-hyped imperial stout. Really cool vibe in here. Plenty of frothy, deeper tan head on a pitch coffee black effort. Aroma features plenty of chocolate elements with complementary rum, dried fruit, and roasted malts. Little bit of nutty, coffee characteristic as well. Taste is sweet and smooth... crazy impressive mouthfeel. Alcohol well hidden. Chocolate, dessert like presence. Surprisingly easy to drink which makes it dangerous. Coffee only serves to complement the consumption experience... not as much the focal point like others in the style. Very impressed.
3.6 22 oz bottle. At the ISKTR'18. From mikkeller.dk. Enjoyed on Sep 22 2018. Black color with a foamy medium size tan head. Roasted malt, coffee, sweetness and spices in the aroma. The flavor is roasted malt, alcohol, molasses, bitterness, berries and sweetness.
3.7 OMBF 2018. Mocno kawowe zarówno w aromacie i smaku. Zdecydowanie nie dla fanów słodyczki. Wytrawne, mocno palone, agresywne. Dobre w sam raz na rozpoczęcie dnia. Smakowało ale bez szaleństw.
4.0 Appearance: Very dark brown, near black. Minimal head. Aroma: Dark malt, dark chocolate, roasted. Some coffee. Taste: Very dark malt, roasted, some coffee and dark chocolate. Warming, smooth. Bought: Mikkeller Webshop, 355 ml can, DKK 50.00 Info: 21/9-2018, BB: ??/??-????
3.9 wspaniałe. Gładkie, kremowe, pełne. Sporo takich jakby aromatów. Przyjemnie się pije, nie za słodkie i zero alkoholu. 3.9
3.8 65 cl bottle @ ISKTR18. Pours black color with a small beige head. Nice roasted malty notes on the nose, cocoa and dark chocolate, some ashy tones, caramel. Flavor is sugary, some roasted malts, cocoa and bitterness, coffee is quite evident. Some harshness here though. 4424
3.9 65 cl bottle @ ISKTR’18 Aroma has coffee and licorice. Flavour has licorice, ash, coffee and molasses. Too sweet but decent anyway.
3.7 OMB. Czarne, z ładną i trwałą pianą. W zapachu ubogo - trochę kawy, czekolady i sosu sojowego i tyle. W smaku podobnie, kawowe, półsłodkie, ze średnią, paloną goryczką i lekkim alkoholowym rozgrzewaniem. Średnie ciało.
4.0 Can picked up from Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte, West Flanders, Belgium and consumed at Hilton Hotel, Munich Airport Thursday 6th September 2018 Pours black with a slim fast receding head of light beige foam/bubbles. Soft in the mouth, sweet liquorice interlaced with chocolate and coffee, lots of coffee and a little burnt toffee. Sticks to the teeth l, tongue and gums. Really nice, really good but perhaps just a touch too safe. A8 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 4.0
3.9 16 oz. can via trade. Pours a very dark brown, deep and nearly opaque, with a very small tan head that settles into a ring and very faint wispy head. Notes of roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate, tobacco, ash, earth, burnt sugar, soy, and a bit of molasses. Full-bodied, with low carbonation and a smooth, rich, roasty mouthfeel. A little ubdercarbonated and borderline flat. But otherwise good.
2.6 Tap at CBHULLA, Helsinki. Colour is very dark brown with small brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Sweetness, sugar, some coffee and roasted malts. Horribly sugary.
4.2 Can from BeerHawk. Pours perfect with an oozing, thick black liquid topped with a thin, creamy tan head. No nitro in sight but it looks like it. Profile is rich and decadent. Treacle, licorice, molasses, strong roast espresso, cream, smooth alcohol strength that hits hard if you don’t sip slow. Nice cola flavour adds itself into the mix. Body is glossy and thick with a gentle, prickly fizz. Smooth, strong and richly roasted yet sweet imperial stout. Sipping this loveliness.
3.9 330ml can at Brewdog Tallinn. Pours black, big tan head stays perfectly. Aroma is chocolatey, rich freshly roasred coffee, roasty. Taste is sweet, liquorice, chocolatey, sugary. Coffee in aftertaste. Sticky, viscous texture. Full body, below average carbonation. Good, but little bit too sweet in taste. Hard to finish can alone. Overally still very nice
3.0 Aroma: coffee, some oxidation - delicate sour cherry in chocolate, soy sauce. Taste: typical a bit oxidated RIS with some dry, bitter and sour (influence of coffee and maybe roasted malts) finish. Head isn't impressive, head is at low to medium lvl. Quite oily. Alc. undetectable.
3.3 355ml can. Pours pitch opaque black. Liquorice, prunes, coffee, raw boozy sugary heat, bit of chocolate. Bit harsh. Not enough body. Not great.
3.8 Puszka. Kawa, espresso, trochę czerwonych owoców. Fajny kawowy czekoladowy smak, sporo ciała, gładkie, deserowe.
3.6 Pours thick black with a full, dark tan head. Aroma is molasses, coffee and roast. Taste is brown sugar and light caramel, moving to espresso and roast malt. Finish is smooth roast. A good, but not elite, stout.
