3.7 Pours golden color, slightly hazy with foamy lasting white head. Aroma: intense hop profile with citrusy, fruity (peaches, apricot, some tropical fruits) character. Flavor follows aroma: intense hop profile with notes mentioned above and biscuity, gentle toffee like malt character - bubblegum like esters!? Hop bitterness is high, finish dry, long lasting bitter. Body is medium, texture soft, carbonation is medium. Nothing special but for now for sure the best one from this single hop ipa series.
3.7 Nice bitterness and aroma. A good beer overall, within th style. However I think the yeast used is not the ideal for this kind of beer, too much yeast aroma and belgiany.
3.9 Beautiful peach orange camel colour. Grains notes mixed with floreal and herbal notes. Quite balanced, a bit of hops harsness but nothing strong
3.8 Drinked in a three weeks old can. Caramel notes, caco, date palm. In mouth is medium light bodied, very balanced.
4.4 Kräftiger "Green Stachelbeer MK IPA" Styler!! Nellllson...gekonnt in Szene gesetzt, könnte man sagen. ChampagnePrickler too ✨🚀 . 0,33l CAN vom MIKKELLER BOTTLE SHOP in Kopenhagen. 45 DKK !?
3.4 Draft sampled @ Gollem. Darker amber. overly big on sweet grape, hay, too yeasty, stale wheat, grea, weird plastic,... Body is the same. Not at all what I expected from a Nelson Sauvin IPA, disappointing honestly.
3.3 On tap at Craft Room. Slightly hazy dark amber, white head. Sticky malty grape aroma. Hm. Smooth malty, vague sweet white grape (sultanas really) note before rough herbal bitterness wipes everything away, slightly too sticky again. Eh.
3.2 Can at csakajo. Lightly hazy orange colour small white head. Nose is low bitterness, light fruity notes. Taste is low bitterness. Fast finish... it goes... little bit sad, as i had high expectations.
3.5 On tap, @El Lúpulo Feroz, Oviedo 16/06/2017 Color ambarino con corona de espuma blanca, aromas a caramelo, el sabor es frutal con notas a caramelo y cuerpo medio, final amargo y seco.
3.5 nnemts skardenee no celles. labs cirtusiigs ruugtens ipa alus. kaa jau visi.
3.5 On tap. Pale golden colour, medium two fingers head and medium retention. Good lace. Aroma is citric, with tropical fruits, caramel and peaches. Full creamy palate, lively carbonation. Taste of oranges, tropail fruits, caramel.
3.5 0.5 draft @ Fermentoren Clear, dark amber color. Quite piney in the aroma. Some malts appear in the taste. Overall pretty decent but nothing unusual.
3.3 330 ml. can. Hazy amber color with beige head. Aroma has some fermented grapes, old hops and light cardboard. Taste follows with the fermented fruit, some toasted malts, light earthy bitterness at first but intensifies towards the finish and lingers with grapefruit peel flavor on the aftertaste. Medium body and carbonation. As with the other beers from the new, canned Single Hop series, it’s quite disappointing.
3.6 Pours cloudy copper. Aroma is hoppy, pine, floral. Taste is very hoppy, pine, floral, lots of bitterness.
3.4 Can at home. emi-hazy dark amber pour with a light beige head. Notes of caramel, unipe grapes, generic bitterness, light resins. Oxidized, moderately metallic beer, moderately bitter and lightly dry. Gets a bit sweeter, fruitier and more complex when it warms up a bit, though.
3.4 Vinous, less bitter than Amarillo, white fruits, grapes, juicy, astringent, long bitter finish. Very good.
3.3 Can backstage. Dark golden pour with a fizzy head. Notes of Pine, grass, stale hops, some apple and a light bitter finish.
3.3 At the airbnb tasting 2017, pours orange with a small head, aroma of fruits, orange, pineapple, flavor is bitter with orange, pineapple, medium bodied
2.6 Old rating rerated 15.05.2017, 0,33l can @ hotel room in Copenhagen: Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry and harsh floral, weeds, old moss, bark, lawn, plastic, hay, harsh hops, alcohol, light malts, flowers, soil, old leafs. Taste is dry grassy, leafs, weeds, minerals, harsh hops, citrus peel, bark, lawn, light malts, paper, old moss alcohol. Medium to longlasting bitterness, dry harsh mouthfeel. Not my cup of tea.
3.9 Pours cloudy apricot with a low white head. Aromas of apricot, peach, citrus. Taste is fruity and floral with light grassy notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation.
3.8 Pours cloudy amber with low white head Aromas of tropical fruits, caramel, pine Taste has hoppy notes of tropical fruits, resin, pibe, caramel
3.6 Z puchy. Agrest, jakieś zioła, białe wino - nietypowa ipa, intensywna, ale jakoś w bok od znanych trendów - może to ten nelson taki dziwny. Ciekawostka, ale jednorazowego użytku.
3.8 Copper and golden. Hoppy. Grape like indeed. Taste is dry bitter, green, fresh. Not strong but still satisfying. (On tap at Ol & Brod Copenhagen)
3.7 Backlog, ocena przepisana z untappd, w ramach uzupełniania profilu na ratebeer. Karmelowo-ciasteczkowe, lekko przyprawowe, białe owoce, winogrona.
3.3 At Home along with Yves hazy amber colored body with a white head and a spicy fruity yeast hops aroma a spicy fruity hops yeast sweet alcholic bitter taste with a alcholic bitter finish
3.3 Shared with wim at his home. Hazy amber colored beer with small white head and no carbonation. Hopped spicy aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is spiced bitter.
3.3 My number 500!. Bottle 33cl. Dark amber with an off white head. Malty ale aroma combined with some hops. Rich flavour, plenty of bitter hops. I cannot recognize the Nelson hops typical charataristics. Nice beer though. Medium length.
4.2 murky dark orange color with something more persistent white foam. fruity aromas of passion fruit, passion fruit, apricot and flowers with hints of bread and croissants. Fruity flavors of malts with a light touch, highlighting sweet nuances of cereals, crackers, bread figs, finishing with a soft durable and balanced bitter with notes of stone fruits such as apricot or peach. Yeasts present. dense body, with the presence of alcohol.
3.5 Bottle. Pours orange in colour with solid white head. The beer nicely presents Nelson hops, grapefruit, white wine, gooseberry notes nicely mixed. Medium body, moderate carbonation, bitter grapefruit in the finish.
