3.6 Backlog, ocena przepisana z untappd, w ramach uzupełniania profilu na ratebeer.
3.8 Trübes dunkles Orange mit reichlich Schaum. Malzig, sehr fruchtig, Orangen, Grapefruit, Kiefer, leicht bitter.
3.7 Hazy orange colour. Aroma and flavour have light caramel. Well rounded with elements of bitter peel and light pine.
4.0 330 ml can from St Albans Beer Shop, St Albans (UK). Colour is strong orange, trobid, with moderate white/beige head. Aroma is fruity, citrus, passion fruit, grapefruit. Taste is light despite the 6,9% ABV, moderate bitter, hops are strong. Bitter finish.
4.2 Reddish amber. Solid hoppy aroma with citrus, passion fruit and pine. Starts with moderate malty sweetness, and follows with a full, spicy and fruity hop flavour that finishes with a dry and powerful bitterness. Medium body. Overall, a great IPA. Very tasty and refreshing.
2.7 Fruity and bitter scent. Fruity and incredibly bitter taste. Very bitter aftertaste that fills the upper part of the mouth for a long time. For bitter beer. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.
3.4 330 ml can. Hazy orange color with beige head. Aroma has some sweet fruits and resin with some sweet orange candy in the background. Taste starts with some cardboard and yeast notes, quite bitter upfront and intensifies towards the finish. Medium body and carbonation. Overall it tastes like an old beer although it isn’t.
3.8 Pours cloudy copper. Aroma is hoppy, grass, balanced. Taste is hoppy, grass, nice amount of bitterness.
3.8 Puszka. I delikatnie mi przeszkadza ta goryczka.
3.7 330 ml. can. BBF 07/11/17. Deep orange amber, thick big creamy tanned head. Nose is herbal overly milky yeast, dark bread, mellow lightly herbal USA hops, stale pine with some sugar. Taste is dark bread, herbal sweetish sugar, herbal pine, faint candy, grain, low herbal. Yeastier than necessary as were others in the series, hop is weird, near plain herbal with strange bread note. Body is the same. Okay but too yeasty, hops aren’t really what they should be. Same goes for this one as with others in their Session IPA & Single Hop IPA series, too yeasty, odd hop profile but decent drinking. Decent beer even if it isn’t what it should be.
3.1 Opaque bronze colour. Little to no head. Aroma and taste have biscuits and malt with some grassy undertones.
3.7 330 ml can. Pours an orange golden with an off-white head. Intense piny hoppy aroma, woody herbal, medium malty. Medium to full body with a soft carbonation and a medium bitterness. The taste is medium malty (caramel, biscuit) with light fruity grapefruit notes and a good bitter finish.
3.4 Tap@amsterdam. Orange hazy. Pine, green grassy citrus on nose. Med bodied. Well bittered, caramel sweetness, pretty massive pine in finish. Getting some subtler fruits midpalate, green berry like, pineappleskinny. Overall a brutal, but clean ipa. -- rated with beerbasher/winphone
4.2 The Great Malty Hophead Experience. Ein Hauch Zitrone und viel harzige Alphasäure bringen heißen Bitterhopfenspass. Nice. Mehr wäre mal wieder gut 😍. Üppig trübgelb und grasig schlank. Am Ende mit mehr Hefeflair. Jaaaaa.... 0,33/ca.4€. CAN from MIKKELLER. Online..Good work...
3.0 Can at home. Pours an amber/orange with a white head. Grapefruit, malts, pine, orange. Not as fruity as I hopped, malty but not in a pleasant way. Bitter is a bit harsh, piney.
3.6 BB backlog, Bottle from Canals Mt Ephraim. Pours hazy copper color with one finger head. Nose of pine, lemons, grass, and toasted malt. Flavor is similar with grapefruit, pine, and candy orange. A little sweet but nice hops crammed into this one. Medium bodied with a bitter finish
4.1 coppery orange color dark and murky, with white foam with little restraint. Tropical fruits such as mango smell, bitter orange, ripe tangerine, grapefruit, lemon and some candy. bitter taste with replicas of smell sweeter fruits and resins. Fresh, light and smooth dry and bitter aftertaste. Body and carbonation means
2.1 Pours golden-hazy with a slightly off-white, quickly diminishing top. Aroma is strong, but I can’t quite say of what. Not hoppy, not fruity... Sour like aroma, reminding me of an old cellar. Sour taste, low CO2, I’m not a fan of sour ales.
3.7 From a bottle. Lots of biscuit malt flavours, plenty of grass, pine and a little resin in the finish.
Testes darab.
3.8 Sampled at the W&C Place Beer Fest 2016. It poured an orange color with a white head. The aroma was of grassy hops, pine and oranges. The taste was similar to the aroma with some bitterness, orange, zest, yeast and a touch of grapefruit. Pretty tasty.
3.6 Quality brew but not worth the $2.49/can compared to local IPAs. Fine aroma stood out.
3.9 Hazy slightly darker amber colored, moderate head, good lace/retention. Aroma is grapefruit, pine, orange, some caramel. Medium bodied, moderate to high bitterness, quite drinkable - good balance of flavors.
3.7 330ml bottle from Gallagher’s Beer World/El Irlandés. Pours a hazy orange color with a big off-white head that lingers leaving a nice lacing. Aroma is freshly hoppy, dark green and pungent with intense piney, resinous character. Notes of spruce, resin, tobacco, cannabis and kiwi. Lacks some brightness but it’s still interesting. Taste is very bitter with some soft and gentle fruity sweetness. Most flavors continue the aroma profile giving resinous, piney bitter touches and hints of grass, green herbs and kiwi. Medium body, soft carbonation. Quite dry and refreshing. Medium to long aftertaste. One of the best of the Mikkeller Single-Hop series. Tasty, intense but a bit one-dimensional.
2.7 Dark orangish color, fluffy white head. Metallic aroma, old hop, and caramel malt. Taste is metallic, bitter bite and lingers. Overall, not very good. Would avoid.
3.2 small frothy white head. fair lacing. mostly diminishing. cloudy light-orange thick body. aroma: moderate hoppy, orange and caramel. initial and final flavors: heavy bitter and light sweet; long duration. palate: light medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, metallic finish. moderate warming. 50s
4.1 33cl bottle at home from biernavigatie. Body is hazy orange copper, head is very big, rocky, tan, mostly lasting, good lacing. Nose is citric fruity, flavor is caramel, honey, biscuit, grapefruit, light chocolate, raisin, pine resin, light spices. Light to medium sweet, medium to heavy bitter, light fruity sour. Finish is long lasting hoppy medium to heavy bitter. Medium body, soapy texture, average carbonation. Quite easy, a bit refreshing, slightly dessertish, tasty fruity hoppy IPA.
3.9 8/16/2009 3:42:27 PMBottle from BierKoning. Orange body with thin, hazy head. Hoppy nose. Taste of hops - lots of ’em - pine, grapefruit and citrus. Quite smooth. Oranges and malts too. Nice, prickly texture. Enjoyable.
3.7 Amber colour, cloudy, with thick brown cap. Rather strong hoppy aroma. Refreshing and sharp taste at the same time.
