3.4 Bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr hopfig, fruchtig, malzig. Geschmack sehr fruchtig malzig, hopfig, grasig.
3.3 Aroma is a floral hopiness wirh some sweet malt notes. Taste is a sweet hopiness with some earth hopiness.
3.9 Bottle from Piw Paw in Warsaw Poland. Pours hazy amber with medium off white head and nice lacing. Aromas of caramel, toffee, pine resin, bread and a touch of citrus. Taste is caramel, toffee, citrus, chlorophyll, and alcohol. Finish is dry with a nice bitter chlorophyll.
3.6 Tap at Mane Liquor. Pours a dark orange with an off white fluffy head. Nose has citrus/peach resin with a touch of sweet caramel. Taste is quote bitter upfront with the hop resin coming through. Medium bitterness that lasts. Bitter stone fruit in the finish. Managed to sink a few pints of this. Pretty decent stuff.
3.8 Bottle @ home. Clear medium to dark orange color, medium to full sized off-white stable head that lasts for quite some time. Heavy hoppy aroma hits you straight from the bottle and certainly immediately after pouring. Taste malts, lots of hops, pretty bitter, a touch of resin. Medium body and carbonation.
Bastante buena. Para repetir sin duda.
3.7 Bottle. Light hazy orange/amber with a thick good lacing foamy off white head. Delicisious peachy and citrusy nose with light pinewood and onion. Aroma follows the nose though the piney notes are more dominating, still lots of citrus and onion with some light green herbal notes . Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Long medium bitter finish. Great IPA hop.
3.5 Sampled at the London Craft Beer Festival. Pours cloudy, golden-brown with a foamy, off-white head. Bready stuff with some orange, mild pine. Pretty sweet. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. A bit of juicy citrus to finish, with more bready malts. Decent.
2.3 Bottle from ABC Beers The Hague. Pours clear copper with a lacy white head. Aroma is citrus, soap and floral. Taste is.... odd. Bitter, but some sourness aswell. Could be infected. Weird funky soapy flavour. Not good at all. Some peach is there aswell, but yeah, peach is not my favourite fruit... ahem. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
3.4 Hazy copper. Soapy, lightly roasted malts, some lychee, lime, perfume, flowery. Taste is sweet with better kicks at start and finish. Bit wild. Fizzy carbonation. Overall not bad, but slightly too soapy and chemical tasting for me.
3.4 33cl bottle from ABCbeers. Thick white head. Hoppy aroma. Hazy light amber pour. refreshing bitterness but not hoppy enough. Nice and drinkable though.
3.3 Bottle shared thanks to deanso. Aroma is malty, caramel, light grapefruit and grassy but I think it’s past it’s best and not fresh enough. Flavour is light moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
3.7 Pours a murky brownish copper with massive off white head a moderate amount of lace. Aroma is citrus, orange, tangerine, and caramel. Flavour is grapefruit, resin, a medium bitterness that lingers into the after taste, sweet caramel malts that try to balance the high alpha acids of the summit hops(kinda works) and a bit tropical fruity though not very distinctive. Enjoyable and a good showcasing of the hop!
3.5 330ml bottle pours a murky brown color with a finger of white head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is citrus and herbs with some light chocolate. Taste is a light chocolate malty sweetness with a bold citrus and herbal hop bitterness. Medium bodied with good carbonation that tickles the palate. A decent IPA that I recommend others to try.
3.5 It’s with a heavy heart that I score this way. Seems to me that the hops are oxidized. Served at a good temperature with a giant, cream colored, foamy, frothy, very long lasting head and lots of lace. Color is a clear amber copper. Aroma is malt, oak, caramel, wet cardboard? Flavor’s are similar to nose with cashed hop up front, followed by sweet malt. Hop isn’t totally gone, still has a bit of freshness. Body/carbonation are perfect. Finish is like flavor, short lived, leaves me yearning for a fresh one.
3.9 Bottle: Served in a Duvel glass: Medium sized fluffy but vast and slowly changing off white foamy head on top of a hazy amber colored beer with some red ish tints. Aromas of hops, hop fruits, citrus, pine, apricot, resin, some grapes, some manure, floral tones, some malts and a sprinkle of yeast. Lovely aroma of hop fruits some hop flowers and a lighter makty backbone. Very nice! Flavour is a bit more floral with lesser fruity tones: lot of herbs, bitters, hop herbs, some grass and hay, spices, grapefruit, citrus, malts, light hints of grains and chalk, some herbal spices, yeast and plant tones. Aftertaste is bitter with hops, herbs, floral tomes, some grapefruit, grass and citrus. Medium carbo, creamy ligtly blown mouthfeel, good medium bodied and a creamy texture.
Ízében is ott a karamell, maláta, kis vajasság, zöld füvek, gyógynövények, boróka, citrusok.
3.7 16-OCT-2013, draft @Mikkeller & Friends. Murky brown with dense, lacing off-white head. Malty aroma with caramel, bread, and lots of fruity hops. Taste the same. Citrus and exotic fruits. Above medium body, creamy, soft carbonation. Quite well balanced. Like it.
3.1 Draft at Borefts 2013. Pours hazy orange with a small to medium white head. Aroma is malty, caramel, not much fruitiness. Taste is sweet and malty with caramel, bit of fruitiness and a medium bitter finish.
3.6 Ipa ambrata. Bel cappello di schiuma. Ben carbonata. Amara. Amarissima dato dal luppolo summit
3.4 Bottle @ home. Aroma is very fruity, orange, melon, lychee and more, some faint malt in the back. Flavour is dry fruity hop bitterness, although is is way more herbal and spices with only a faint fruity note shining through. Too harsh for me.
3.5 Tap at Borefts ’13, 28/09/13. Lightly hazed golden amber with a moderately sized off white covering. Nose is caramel malts, bitter orange, grassy notes, rope grapefruits. Taste comprises light pine, caramel, toasty malts, grapefruit pulp. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, grassy finish with hop bitterness. Decent enough IPA but not their best.
3.6 Caramekleur met een volle kraag. Weinig geur, iets hop en iets fruit en citrus. Smaakt lekker fris, fruitig en bitter.
3.6 Pours an orange slightly unclear beer with a white head. Smells fruity. Tastes ctrus, mango with a nice bitter finish. Average carbo, thin to medium body and a dry texture.
3.2 Hopfiger Antrunk, nass. Spritzig, die Hopfigkeit nimmt zu. Emig bitter, sehr blumig. Gelungenes Session IPA. 11/9/11/10//10
3.3 on tap at mikkeller and friends stefansgade. light amber with a lingering head; citric aroma with a touch of caramel; plenty of bitterness; clean and crisp but without any standout character
Melkebaren.
