3.2 Kacper W. is drinking a Mitte SpontanAle by Mikkeller at Mikkeller Bar Cytrusowe, lekko dzikie, dość kwaśne, ale czegoś brakuje

3.8 Kran. Aromat owocowy, cytrusowy, dziki. W smaku podobnie, wyraźnie cierpkie. Kwaśność umiarkowana.
3.8 Bottle at home, 5.3% abv. Clear dark golden with short lasting fizzy off white head. Grapes, apple, light grass and hay, lemon, gooseberries, quite herbal, green apple peel. Lots of different fruit skins. Medium sour, under medium bitter and very light sweetness. Just medium bodied with fizzy pearly carbonation. Quite nice, pretty close to regular Book gueuze.
3.7 Draught at Mikkeller & Friends. Tap takeover. Dry apricot apple tart sour. Very nice.
3.5 Draught at Mikkeller Bangkok. Amber color, white head. Sour taste with citrus, sour apples, tart, grass and earthy notes. Sour finish with sour apples, citrus, grass and tart. Very nice sour ale.
3.0 Bottle split with friends. Golden pour with a small head. Nose has funk, peppermint and some citrus. Taste has apple skin, barnyard, citrus, funk and an annoying hint of peppermint.
2.8 How : tap Appearance : clear golden, small white head. Aroma : citrus, floral, tropical fruits, pine and grass. Palate : light body, average to soft carbonation.
3.5 Bottle shared by John Sukroo at Ale Alpharetta. Hazy orange, with no real head. Harsh orange peels, light funk, and horseblankets. Very dry, a little funky. Medium, hard, and salty. This is a mellow, very dry and funky beer. Not much complexity, but not bad.
3.7 Pours hazy, nigh opaque apricot with an eggshell head. Sour fruit dominates he aroma while letting hints of malt and yeast to peek through. Flavor is quite sour, fruity with a woody underpinning and subtle malt notes. Texture has good body and plenty of fizz. More tart than sour, may be a good beer to introduce the uninitiated to sours.
3.6 Tap during RBESG2015, Day 3, Copenhagen - golden pour with white head. Aroma and taste is sour fruity, grape, barnyard, light grass and floral nuances, funky, hay, musty, lactic, dry tart finish.
4.0 Tap at Mikkeller Tokyo under the name Udagawa Spontan. Nice big gooseberry aromas with some young strawberry and grape as well. Quite tart on the palate, but not enamel-melting by any means. Creamy mouthfeel. Good tartness that lingers on the finish. Quite enjoyable. Very nice gueuze for the price.
3.6 TAP at mikkeller. Pours golden with a thin white head. Aroma of tart, funk, grape. Taste of tart, grape, dust, sour. Quite bitter ending, tho refreshing.
3.8 Bottle. Nice golden hazy color. A very nice and easy drinking ale, smooth and refreshing. Not overly sour, very enjoyable.
3.8 Benchmark aroma in an alluring sparkling golden-amber pour. Taste is benchmark too - far and away the best sour I’ve had all week. Will be spending time/money trying the fruit flavoured variations now...stay tuned.
4.0 Poured a hazy light amber with an off white ring. Aroma of tart fruit, very geueze. Light to medium body, flavour is lightly fruity, tartly sour.
3.9 Draft at Mikropolis. Pours hazy Amber with a white head. Aroma of barnyard funk, dank cellar, slightly leathery, citrus and tart fruit. Flavor is moderate acidic. Light medium bodied with light carbonation.
3.4 The modern craft brewers try to master litterally ever style of beer that has ever existed it seems, and this is Mikkeller’s take on the transcendent ’oude geuze’, which, in spite of all the bold (and often successful) Anglo-Saxon attempts, is still the epitome of sour beer styles, in my humble opinion. Warm orangey gold colour, initially clear, with high, champagne-like effervescence, supporting a thin, off-white, fairly stable head. Musty and funky aroma indeed, impressions of lemon peel, lots of moist cellar and damp cloth, unripe peach, redcurrant, bitter honey, dry white wine, wheat and - excusez le mot - menure, but not necessarily in a ’bad’ way, if you see what I mean; in comparison with 3 Fonteinen Oude Geuze, which I am tasting next to it as a standard for the style, it is a bit less strong and far less elegant, more ’damp’ and less fruity. Taste is vividly fruity, very estery, with a more ’dull’ and restrained but still clear citric acidity and a softer lactic acidity; less of the delicate sweetness than the 3 Fonteinen and, above all, a more forwarded bitterness, which increases a bit towards the end and which annoys me a little - sour beers have to be sour first and foremost, and bitterness should remain gentle and in the background. Mouthfeel is highly effervescent and ’champenoise’, wheat sourishness comes forward, light ’breadiness’ too; lemony acidity and the aforementioned, leafy hop bitterness struggle with each other for dominance of the finish. In all, a meritorious attempt at this enigmatic beer style, but clearly less complex, less refined and less attractive in aroma than the 3 Fonteinen; too bitter for the style as well. Still, quite well-made and credible, considering the difficulties of this particular style.
4.0 Draught at Mikkeller&Friends. Hazy orange tinted amber, loads of bubbles, little head. Lovely sour gooseberry nose, flavour is fizzy, sour fruits, very nuanced, light body and sorry finish. Delicate and really well balanced, very nice indeed.
3.8 Bottle to wide tulip Overripe fruit, yeast, vegetal, barnyard, brett, hay, and citrus. Hazy amber with a very small/thin white head. Taste is light sourness and citrus, with green apple and a little bitterness. This is quite good.
3.9 Draft at Mikkeller & Friends. Pours amber with a small white head. Aroma is acidic, some grapes and malts. Taste is acidic, sour grapes, some bread and malts. Palate is thin and very drinkable, yet tasteful. Really nice beer, tasteful and sour yet pleasant.
3.7 375ml bottle from Brewdog online store. Orangey golden colour, white foam head and aroma of grain, citrus rind, woody, yeasty. Taste is malt & grain, sour citric, woody, barnyard, yeasty and light lingering bitterness. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry sour finish. Very drinkable.
3.6 Draught at Mikkeller Bar, Stefansgade. Clear, deep golden colour with a dense, white head. Sweet barnyard aroma with bretts, wood and lemons. Taste is sour. Medium body with a slick texture and a lively carbonation. Finishes dry and tart with lemons. Nice, refreshing easily accessible Gueuze.
3.9 From notes. Tasted in December 2012 from a capped 375mL bottle purchased at Louisville Beer Store during Zwanze Day 2012. Pours hazy light orange with a thick white head that leaves average lace. The nose is tart and sour lemon with a touch of white wine vinegar, and a bit more bread malt than I am used to in most sours. The flavor is not super sour, but has some nice tartness and funk, with lemon peel and the malt a bit more balanced than on the nose. The body is medium and tannic with average carbonation and along tart and lightly malty bitter finish.
3.9 375ml bottle (label states 5,3% ABV). Clear orange pour with a transient loose white head that reduces to a firm collar. Nose offers fresh apples, light barnyard, oranges, citrus, light malts and musty sweaty socks. Palate is tart light and refreshing with funky citric moderately sour flavours that do not grate and no bitterness. This is a fine gueuze.
4.0 Bottle, 375mL. 5.3% abv. A yellow opaque beer with brown hues ; big creamy white head ; good retention ; beautiful lacing. Smoky aroma, wood, earth, barnyard. Light sweet, medium to heavy sour waves, nice balance between dry and windy. Medium body and texture, good carbonation nearly fizzy, sour lasting welcoming finish. Overall, delicious, good balance between dry, wet wind : oasis landscape.
3.6 Tap at Mikkeller, Victoriagade. Poured a hazy amber with a round bubbly white head. The aroma is light acid citrus. The flavour is moderate sour with a smooth light acidic vinegar citrus palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation.
3.6 Tap at Mikkeller. Hazy amber colour with a white head. Aroma and flavour of acidic, fruit, malt, barnyard and hops.
3.6 Pale orange pour with a fizzy head that quickly dissipates. The aroma is ruined by the choice of a green bottle as it is totally skunked with a hint of candied stone fruit. The flavor is still there with that fruit and funk making for a nice tart sour beer.
