Very intense cherries Colour of cherry skin with no head Taste of sweet cherries, marzipan, wine vinegar, wine and sour cherries. 3.8 Bottle 2020. 7.2%. A beautiful, dark red colour, a head is quite small and pink. Aroma has cherries, sourness, some balsamico and hint of barrel. Taste has lots of cherries, some sweetness, then sourness starts to increase. Medium bodied. Great aroma, the taste is simplier. Very nice beer.

4.0 375ml bottle, from Mikkeller Beer Club. 2020 Vintage. Poured deep red color, light pinkish head. Nice sour cherries, hint of vanilla, good amount of sourness. Tart finish with some wood and more cherries. Good stuff

4.4 KØLF 2 31020. Deep red color with a pinkish head. Aroma is cherries, wood. Flavor is cherries, wood, marzipan , sourness, alcohol. Very nice beer.

4.3 Bottle sample at a tasting. Deep bourdeaux with pink head. The aroma has notes of red wine, cherries, marzipan, red fruits, Black Forest cake. The flavour is mild sweet and sour with notes of cherries, marzipan, red wine, lemon, yogurt, cherry liqueur. Full-bodied. Complex and rich.

3.9 Tap at Salon piva. Very high sourness, complex sour character. Loads of cherries. Rather thin body, though light sweetness present. Med-high carbonation. Slightly hard to drink due to being very sour, mouth-puckering. Very good though.

4.3 Bottle at a tasting. Beautiful dark reed purple color. Tons of cherries, lactic, funky, wood aromas. Sweet-sour cherries, mild acidity, juicy, yogurt, wood, marzipan, dry finish. Medium-bodied, soft carbonation, smooth.Yummy!

4.1 Bottle from MikkellerBeerMail. Pours opaque deep almost purpulish red with tiny dark red head. Aroma is intense cherry, strawberry and rhubarb but also hints of yeast, vinegar, port wine and cookie dough. Taste is faint sweet, light bitter and medium to very acidic. Body is oily with fizzy carbonation. Finish is long and mostly sour and light sweet with notes of cherry, rhubarb, almonds, cherry seeds, vinegar and hints anise. I imagine this would go very well with the Danish christmas desert "risalamande".

4.4 Excellent Kriek, the cherry taste is amazing with a hint of wood. A bit foamy, not too acidic, lambic ending taste. Nice dark red ruby color. Great beer.

4.3 Bottle at home bought from mikkeller website. The beer poured reddish in colour as you would expect from a cherry beer. This was full of cherries and again you expect that being a cherry beer.

4.1 Bottle - 375ml. Dark red/purple cloudy body with an average, pink fizzy head. Lovely dark cherries aroma with malty, woody, and nutmeg hints. Alcohol is well hidden. Its robust, complex, well balanced taste is similar to the aroma. Ends with a long, moderately warming, fruity/spicy finish. Awesome.

4.1 Draught at Darby's Gastown, Vancouver Deep purple colour. Intense cherry aroma, with a hint of cheese. Good body strength, with tickling carbonation; just a touch of sweetness, with very intense cherry juice flavour, and a nice woody/astringent note in the final. The hype is real.

4.2 Dużo wiśni, czereśnik. Do tego sporo pestkowości, cierpkość wysoka. Kwaśność niska. Mało funky. Ładny migdał w tle. Dobre piwo.

3.9 375ml bottle from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Year 2018, given at 7.2%. Pours dark red, with limited pink fine foam. Aroma is intense of sour cherries and strawberries. Body is average, like carbonation, with medium astringency. Taste is medium-high sour, very tart. Final is pungent, of average length.

3.8 Garnet, hazy. Pink head, two fingers, poor retention. Difficult to see the carbonation through the haze. Oily texture with soft fizz. Aroma is cherry, passion fruit liqueur, soft wood, kalimotxo. Taste is medium - sour. Soft sweetness. Cherry, soft acetic, soft wet wood. Sour finish. Alcohol well integrated. Good.

4.4 Ciemnowiśniowe mętne piwo z niezłą lekko czerwonawą pianą. Aromat super wiśniowy, zero octu. W smaku podobnie mega wiśniowo, mało kwaśne. Fantastyczne piwo

4.4 Bottle from Whole Foods Blossom Hill in San Jose, CA. Aroma is spiced cherries, cherry pie, mild fruit funk. Taste is cherry, spiced cherry, oak...soft feel but crisp and complex tangy cherry. Incredibly flavorful and not overbearing. I enjoyed this more than the Framboos!

3.7 Bue à la pression. Couleur violette opaque. Mousse optionnelle. Nez sur la cerise aigre et rien d'autre. Ça fait pas mal confiture/clafoutis. Idem en bouche, cerise au taquet avec un côté vieille cave qui va bien. Là encore c'est bien aigre/vinaigré. Acidité sèche assez prononcée. Avec tout ça il s'en dégage un petit quelque chose de vineux. Une bière à ne pas mettre dans tous les gosiers mais c'est du bon.

3.9 On tap. Pours a dark red, like thick red cherry juice, with no head. Aromas of dark earthy berries and meaty cherries. Flavors of dark cherry pie, dark berry jam and soft doughy malts. Really a thick juice beverage.

4.6 This may just be my favourite beer of all time. Incredibly complex and layered. Pours deep red/purple with a pink foam. Aroma is cherry pie and sweet fruits. Taste is intense cherry with a tart and sweet balance to aspire to. Kriekesque and so so good.

3.9 Barwa ciemnoczerwona, piana duża. Aromat wiśni, winny, funky. W smaku wisnie, skóra, funky, pestkowy, taninowy. Raczej słodko niż kwaśnie. Fajne pifko.
