Dosyc wysokie wysycenie, pijalne. Barwa brudno złota, herbaciana, do tego mała obrączka z piany. Naprawde świetne piwo
4.0 37.5cl bottle shared into a taster. Pours a deep straw colour with very little head retention. A fairly spritzy carbonation and well suited mouthfeel to the refreshing nature of the drink. Aroma is funky and fruity with a nice summery feel. Taste is very juicy with the gooseberry being a nice partner to the already sour lambic base. Overall a nice introduction to the style.
4.0 Dispo à l'autre oeil Belle apparence Acide à souhait ! Croquer dans un citron , sûre , sûre ... Et sûre !!
3.5 Blonde. Orangé. Peu de collet. Nez: boisé. Acide. Levure sauvage. Fruité. Citron. Bouche: extra sûre. Citronné. Vinaigre. Lait sûre. Boisé. Chêne. Vin blanc. Pur expérience d'acidité.
3.9 Bottle at Uiltje. Green-ish gold pour. Aroma of tart, horseblanket, grassy herbs and flower. Fresh taste of tart, floral berries, mild oak and grassy horseblanket. Don’t really know what gooseberries are, but they sure mix well with lambic.
4.3 1/31/16. Bottle from Chan’s in Destin. Lightly hazed orange pour under a small khaki head. Great aroma, dank fruitiness, light sourness, vanilla, complex. Great flavor, sour, vanilla, funky, fruity, complex, a hint of acetic. Mrs. Owl and I love these!
3.3 How : bottle Appearance : clear light golden with a small white head. Aroma : lemon, unripe berries, yoghurt, ammonia. Palate : medium body, lively carbonation. Taste a lot better then it smells.
3.5 375 ml bottle poured into a brandy snifter. The beer is a clear gold with a white head of foam. The aroma has a dry, floral, moderately fruity and juicy. Im not sure what a gooseberry tastes like, so I cant compare them. The more I sip on this beer, the more funk I pick up. Medium body and medium to high carbonation.
3.8 On tap at Mikkeller. It pours a honey-orange gold. Tart, tannic and interesting. The taste is lactic, berry sour, tart, woodsy biscuit. Nice. Better in the taste than the aroma. Good.
3.9 Bottle. Golden body with white head. Aroma is fruity mostly green apples also some sourness and hints of malts. Taste is sour and dry with fruits and wood in the background. Aftertaste is sour with nice hops bitterness in the background.
4.0 From bottle - Thanks Martin! Pours hazy amber with a white head. Aroma of popcorn, light wood, funk and barnyard, light sesam. Taste is really sour and tart, wood, fruity as f*ck, berries, dry, holy jebus...
4.1 Bottke. Pours hazy orange with a white head. Aroma barnyard, light. Seasem, fruity, wood, tart, light popcorn. Taste is tart, funk, fruity, berries, goose, very sour. Dry and Woody finish. Nice
4.2 From bottle. Pours clear golden. Aroma is excellent. Apples, gooseberries. Taste is sour. Gooseberries, popcorn, dry apples, sesame. Very sour, very fruity and very dry. Marvelous!
4.5 Almost clear golden/orange. Big oaky lambic sour nose. Taste is tart and acidic with a big burst of lemon citrus. Finishes dry, oak lingers. Very good.
4.0 Bottle thanks to my mom! Pours a clear gold with a slight orange hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is quite sour with a decent amount of bitter berry and a light funk underlying. Flavor has a nice sour gooseberry with a bit acid and a light funkiness.
4.0 KRS 180715. Golden-orange colour with an off-white head. Aroma is gooseberries, malt, yeast, fruit. Flavour is gooseberries, malt, yeast, fruit, funk, lemon. Very nice beer.
1.3 Im not the right to rate this, but really horriblr. Aroms sour notes horseblanket nothinh especial. Taste very sour. Gooseberry and beer is no good kombi.
3.8 Shared bottle. Pours is cloudy golden with thick white head that lasts only for seconds. Aroma of leather, wet leaves, lemon, citric, acidic and funky. Taste is medium sour with light sweet notes, lemon and light gooseberry mouthfeel. Medium body, flat carbonation, light acidic finish. This citric mouthfeel goes good with lambic style, great beer.
3.4 I like beers like this - no idea what to expect before opening it. Poured a nice cloudy amber colour with a bit of sediment to boot. Nose was a little underwhelming but on the palate a nice dry sour style that lingers.
3.8 On tap at Mikkeller. Aroma is somewhat acidic with a light citrus note. Moderate gooseberry chaarcrer with some light oak. Light sour cherry and hints of tropical fruit. Pours a hazy, copper with a small thin head that recedes quickly to the edges. No lacing or legs. Flavor is fairly acidic with a moderate citrus note. Quite a bit of gooseberry flavor with some lighter tropical fruit and a bit of sour cherries. Light oak notes and a touch of earthy funk. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice beer with a good gooseberry character. It’s lacking the oak and earthiness that the Vesterbro had, but its still very drinkable. The gooseberry adds some fruitiness but also some acidity.
3.7 Bottle at WTWBA. Hazy light orange pour. Dry and tart / sour. This is pretty damn good.
3.2 375ml bottle from brewdog.com. Pours gold with good white head. Encouragingly fruity aroma. Taste sadly contains little in the way of gooseberries, I really did expect more. Good solid tart sour of course, but not a lot more than that unfortunately.
4.0 Bottle at 100 piv. Aroma yeasty, barnyard, funky, fruity. Clear deep golden colour with some sediment. Really tart in flavour, rather tart than sour. Barnyard, funky and... well, gooseberry. Complex but nicely balanced. Very good.
3.9 Bottle from 100 piv. Golden color with medium white head. Vinous aroma with gooseberries, funk, wood. Tart taste with gooseberries, wood, bayrnard, wild yeast. Good.
4.1 Pours a golden amber color with almost no head. Aromas of funk, barnyard, vinous fruit. Tart fruit with some nice sour funk.
3.7 golden Amber color. Lots of gooseberry, cat piss and cake. Nice tart mouth that is fairly dry. Nice stuff.
3.8 Draught at Mikkeller Tokyo. Cloudy gold with no head, again. Aroma is all gooseberries. Flavour has a nice oak finish.
4.1 Tap at Mikkeller Tokyo. Nice funk and sourness, fruity aroma, nice. Fruit doesn’t have much effect on the taste to me so more like a straight spontan. I guess because I always feel I am tasting gooseberry in gueuzes. Nice though. Second time, as we mourned the passing of Mikkeller Tokyo. Nice. Gooseberry is subdued, gueuze-type character at the front. But then again I always taste gooseberry in lambics so maybe that’s why. Decent sourness, lightly spritzy, hint of citrus. Nice stuff. Scored it a couple of marks higher this time.
3.0 Taster showing neon yellow with green hues and a finger of clean white foam. The nose shows a lot of intense limbic Brett. The palate is moderately carbonated and light bodied. Extremely tart forward. Slight flavor of berry.
