3.5Sampled from bottle @ THT November. Hazy yellow to light orange color, small off-white head. Aroma is a mix between sourness and coffee as expected. Taste is a combination of sourness and coffee as well, which is weird but somehow pretty nice.
3.3Bottle shared thanks to Julienhuxley. Pours very hazy dark golden with a white head. Aroma of coffee and light funk. Flavour is light acidic, sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
3.4Bottle at THT. Slightly hazy gold pour with lacy white head. Aroma is vegetal, nice coffee, light lemony notes, light funk. Taste is tart, nice lemony flavor, less coffee forward than the aroma. Not great, but better than I expected.
3.5Poured hazy medium amber with a small off white head. Aroma of coffee, tobacco, chocolate and roast malt. Medium body, flavour as the aroma, lightly sour.
3.3Bottle shared @ THT.
Thin creamy white head. Very hazy blond pour. Coffee aroma and taste. The coffee overpowers the sourness which is nice.
3.3Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of coffee and the dregs that stays behind in the filter. Mild bitter flavour, coffee, hint zest. Finish bitter coffee, lemon zest.

2.9"having this before ever trying the base geueze or any of the fruit varieties may have been a mistake. After the fact, I gotta say, as much as I love coffee beers, this combination of flavors is not one i’d seek out again. at first the coffee is the main player in the aroma, but it fades into an equal share with the stinky cheese aspects of the base. the flavors are just a bit of a mess. nothing bad, but very odd together - no way any of us would have wanted a bottle to ourselves."
3.5Bottle. Hazy golden body with a tiny offwhite head. Funky aroma with tart berries, grapefruit and coffee. Wow. Taste starts pretty sour with lots of funk, berries, and fresh roasted coffee, adding an unexpected bitterness which actually does work, though we are on the very experimental lane here, each sip reminds me of that. Finish is sour, not much coffee left, feels a little off and unbalanced at the end.
3.6Bottle. Golden hay pour with tan head. Pepper coffee thorough aromas, plus some tart fruit and hints of wild tones. Coffee and roasted flavors, slightly muted coffee, some wild fruit tones, with a mild pepper off tone.
2.624/V/14 - 37.5cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ Procrastinated Spontan Gent Tasting - BB: 30/IV/22 (2014-544)
Clear deep orange beer, irregular white aery head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: bit lemony, fruity, some exotic fruits, come chlorine. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sourish, weird coffee flavours, bitter, dirty. Aftertaste: very roasted, bitter, coffee, meh, pretty bad.
3.8Appearance: Hazy amber with finger thick beige head.
Aroma: Coffee, musky, spicy, acetic, funk.
Taste: Medium sourness, low sweetness, low/medium bitterness.
Palate: Thick fairly smooth texture, medium body, average carbonation, lingering dry acetic, bitter, sour coffee.
Comments: Very good.
2.4Dark golden with good clarity. Harshly acidic-sweet fruit aroma with sharp coffee notes. Mid-bodied. Light body. Sour coffee ground flavor. Astringent fruitiness and horse stable. A poor matching combinaton of flavors and aromas in this one. [Shared bottle at larsga’s, 20.08.14]
3.021.05.2014, 0,375l bottle @ BBGTC tasting:
Tiny fizzy shortlasting head. Aroma very strange, still it’s kind of interesting, mild espresso with mild funky barnyard lambic notes behind, sorrel, lactose, grass, oak. Taste is slightly dry and harsh, oak, sorrel, espresso, grass, funky barnyard lambic notes. Medium bitterness, slightly watery mouthfeel. Fair enough, but very interesting though.
3.2Pours a clear pale yellow with a small, fast dissapearing head. Strange aroma mixed of coffee and sour-brettish tartness. Hay and barnyard. Taste is about the same.. A strange mix of the usual lamic/geuze and bitter, roasty coffee. Does it get more original? Probably not, but it does get alot better.
3.1Bottle, shared with BBGTC. Pours a clear dark golden body with a small white head. Nose is strange enough, with strong espresso/filter coffee tones flanked by some sour lambic farmhouse funk notes beneath it all. Taste is sour lambic bretty funk tones with a good dose of coffee on top. Kinda like drinking an espresso with you geuze. Strange, but not too bad actually. Medium body and carbonation. Hard to make up my mind about, but interesting enough.
3.0Gold, shiny bubbles and sticky 1 finger head. Nose is as expected. Tannic, loaded with "crappy" coffee beans. Taste is also as expected. Tastes like a very weak espresso shot , overly bitter, slightly sour and obviously sour. Very dry mouthfeel Wanted to love this one.
3.6Bottiglia 37,5 cl @ irish pub.
Chiara con schiuma fine abbastanza persistente.
Acidula, con note di caffè.
Decisamente atipica ma non male devo ammettere.

2.8Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours a cloudy orange with thick frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is funk, sour fruit, and coffee. Medium mouthfeel with vinegar, cocoa and coffee grounds. Odd.
1.6375ml bottle. Semi opaque light amber with an off white head that pretty much disappears. This is an odd nose - combination of wet coffee grinds, dirty feet, and horse blanket with some sour, very odd. Moderate carbonation and just plain odd body, wow this combination didn’t work at all for me...wish that I had shared this Phil instead of having an entire bottle...but most of it got poured out.
1.5Bottle: Poured a bright yellow color lambic with a medium size foamy head with light retention and minimal lacing. Aroma consists of strong dry coffee notes with some barnyard and funky notes. Taste is also a weird mix between some dry coffee notes with funky barnyard notes with some acidic notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Weird funky mix that I hope I will not have to re-visit in the future.
3.5Bottle. Hazy orange with a medium sized diminishing white head. Nose is a strange mix of sour white grapes and earthy coffee. Same with the aroma; white grapes, gooseberries, light barnyard, earthy coffee filter notes. Light/medium sweet and sour. Lingering coffee notes. Strange mix of flavors with emphasis on the coffee notes, but I can imagine driknking this again.
2.6Bottle @joes. Orange and no head. Smells like coffee (filter drap), sour. Tastes first a bit sour, fruity and a coffee finish. I don’t like the coffee.
3.4Bottle @ joes shared by me. Clear slightly hazy orange with a medium sized off-white head. Smells sour, coffeefilter. Tastes sourish, fresh, no coffee noticable for me. Thin to medium body, soft to medium carbo.
2.9Bottle shared by Tmoney99 in August 2012. Pours a hazy dark orange golden color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor had soured coffee, lemony citrus, mild acidity, dough, dry, Brett character. This combination did not work for me.
