Mikkeller Stateside

Mikkeller Stateside

Earlier batches brewed by Mikkeller at Ørbæk Bryggeri, Ørbæk, Denmark.

A love of American microbrews is the inspiration behind this IPA, brewed with generous amounts of aromatic, American hops, which provide the significant freshness and bitterness with lots of citrus notes. The taste sensations are nicely balanced by the sweetness from the caramel malt.

Ingredients :
Water, malt (pilsner, munich and caramunich), flaked oats, hops (chinook, cascade and amarillo) and ale yeast.

3.2 Rami Rami is drinking a Stateside IPA by Mikkeller at Mikkeller Bar Warsaw Taka slodka, slodowa, niezbyt aromatyczna, nieco karmelowa, dosc goryczkowa ta ipka... to eastcoast? Nic zlego ale nic dobrego
3.4 Ciemnobursztynowe, prawie przejrzyste, wyraźnie goryczkowe, lekkie utlenienie? Oldskulowa ipka dla znudzonych faktorem soczkowości.
3.5 Solid barley fundamentals, with some caramel/bread taste. Goes with pretty heavy and long lasting bitterness. Maybe some slight flower notes in aroma.
4.0 Bottled 0,33L. Dark orange hazy and dirty color, sediments, bubbly aspect with foamy and creamy head of long duration. Fresh hoppy and citrusy aroma, notes of riped tropical and orange. Intence and fraught hop mouth, elevated alcoholic perception, strong citrusy and bitter/sweet palate, intence and long predominant hop final.
3.6 Bottle. Over a year old. Hazy deep amber. Nose: sugary nectar, honey, tropical fruit, dank, melon. Medium body. Taste: bittersweet. Clean. Honey malts. Loads of grapefruit hop. Medium plus bitterness. Satisfying. I wish it were fresh.
3.8 Copper colored beer with white head, stays. Aroma is hops, pine needles, slight malt, caramel. Taste is pretty much the same. Hops, pine, caramel, malt. Very hoppy and quite dry. Medium carbonation, full body. Aftertaste is also very bitter. Classical IPA.
4.0 Behagelig smag af ipa. Den er lettere brændt og mørk i det. God typisk citrus smag.
3.8 12 oz bottle pours amber with a off white head. Aroma of caramel, citrus and floral. Taste is citrus and caramel.
4.0 Bottle at crate. Medium caramel IPA with some head. Scent is medium dense notes of floral weed honey. Labietis style. Taste is lovely dense IPA with thick aggressive hops and consistent weed honey. Finish is dry. Great, weird shit. Unique.
3.5 Bottle at Smokies Hazy amber under lovely head Light citrus aroma Tastes hoppy enough, okay bitter and greatly balanced. Very good
5.0 酒花香氣十足,口感甘甜爽口
3.4 Bottle 33cl. Small white layer. Dark peach color, a bit hazy. Aroma is apples, pumpkin, american hops, rose hips. Bitter taste
3.3 On tap @Ølfred - Aarhus streetfood. Pours dark golden, with thick white top. The high carbonation and the high hoppyness gives a nice and fresh beer. It’s quite fruity, easy to drink, yet the bitterness stays for a long time.
3.6 33cl bottle split with Inga and Sita. Appearance: hazy amber with low white head. Aroma: tangerine, tropical, passion fruit, slightly malty. Taste: medium sweetness and fairly high bitterness. Notes of citrus, passion fruit, tropical fruits and caramel. Palate: medium bodied, watery texture and medium carbonation.

4.1 ..............................................................................................……
3.4 Bottle 330ml (BB 27.08.2018). Almost clear, amber colour with huge, yellowish head, very good lacing. There are citrus notes at the biginning but after few minutes caramel in most intese. Semi sweet with caramel note in taste but there is also big medium to high citrus bitternes, unfortunately with quite big alcohol which burns in the throat and warms a little bit inside. Beer is definitely in east coast ipa, full body with big booze and that is not nice.
3.5 Backlog, ocena przepisana z untappd, w ramach uzupełniania profilu na ratebeer. Karmelowo-chlebowa słodowość, żywice, żółte owoce, wysoka goryczka.
4.0 330 ml bottle poured at home. Pours hazy orange with a healthy white head. Smells like sweet tropical fruit. Taste is nice hoppy bitterness with a clean sweetness underneath. Really great beer.
Excellente.
3.6 An early Mikkeller classic. Classic hops, but with a really long aftertaste and a very balanced and prolonged bitterness. Solid!
3.7 Muddy amber orangy beer wit a nice ivory head. Very fruity and floral aromas, pineapple, mango, grapefruit, citrus. The taste is soft with a nice balance between sweetness and bitterness. There are spices, caramel, yeast, flowers and hop grapefruit-pine. Deep bitter finale. But another IPA furthermore.
3.5 Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass: Sticky fluffy creamy head. Hazy orange amber body. Nose of pine, resin, carbo gass, little funk, some hops, floral tints and ginger bread. Flavour is bitter, malty, pine, resin, herbal, light floral, light hoppy, some blood orange... Aftertaste is bitter, herbal, grassy, blood orange... Low carbo, creamy bitter moutfeel, medium bodied. Meh...
3.7 330 ml bottle. Pours a hazy amber with an off-white head. The aroma is medium malty (biscuit and caramel) and lightly hoppy with hints of citric fruits and pine. Medium oily body with a low carbonation a light sweetness and a medium bitterness. Good malty backbone (caramel), medium hoppy, with ripe grapefruit and peach. Nice, long lasting bitter finish.
4.0 Opaque dark amber/orange with a thick off-white head. Stong floral hops, biscuits and caramel malt aroma. Taste is mildly bitter. Very well distributed flavours of pine, grapefruit, biscuits, grass. Low to medium carbonation. Medium body, creamy. Very smooth and tasty.
