3.1 Taster on tap at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Aroma of yellow fruits, peach, mango, a bit barnyard. Pours hazy yellow, white lacing yet fading head. Taste is tropical fruit, weak, passionfruit. Watery mouthfeel, light bitter. I was disappointed since the bar promoted it as a belgian style wild ale.
3.1 On tap @ Chinaski. Golden color, White head with medium to short duration, some lacing. Aroma has notes of yeast and cereal. Flavor is slightly sourish with some notes of oranges. Light body in the final, slightly bitterness.
3.2 Bottle at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat. Poured a hazy straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is yeast, tropical fruit. The flavour is moderate to light sour with a dry yeast, light grainy, light fruit, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.
3.2 Sample at Taps Changkat courtesy of Jmgreenuk. Thin creamy white head. Very hazy golden pour. Bitter sour aftertaste.
3.2 Poured from the tap. Hazy golden yellow with white head. Lemony citrus, grapefruit, pine, and subtle brett with seltzer water.
2.9 Keg @ Bottleshop: Bermondsey. Slightly hazed amber with a thin head. Has a hoppy dry fruitiness that lingers, with a sugary-fruity nose.
4.0 Piwo koloru złotego z białą pianą. W aromacie przyjemna owocowość- brzoskwinie, owoce tropikalne, jest też delikatny biszkopt i trochę cytrusów. W smaku jest zadziwiająco gładkie i delikatne, niskie wysycenie.
3.3 Aroma: hops aroma: citrus, fruits. Appearance: yellow a bit haze with small white head. Taste: citrus, fruits, hops bitterness, dry finish. Palate: medium body, light carbonation.
3.8 Backlog, ocena przepisana z untappd, w ramach uzupełniania profilu na ratebeer. Dzikie, z solidną, wyższą nawet niż w świeżym Orvalu goryczką.
3.7 Bottle, 0.33l. Cloudy deep golden color with thin quickly diminishing off-white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of passion fruit, pineapple, resin, yeast and mild funk. Taste starts grainy, but without any sweetness, only sour fruity note present, following is grassy and toasted, mouthfeel is crisp and dry, while finish is pleasantly bitter. Light body, slick texture and sparkling appearance. Still alright...
3.6 Bottle, pours clear golden with white head. Aroma of citrus fruits, apricots, honey an barnyard. In taste light fruity sweetness and sourness with a slightly bitter finish.
3.1 Bottle shared at a tasting at troubles’s place. Slightly hazy yellow with white head. The aroma has some funk, notes of herbs and brett. Bitter flavor with notes of wild yeasts, "green", herbs and some spiciness. Medium-bodied.
3.5 Bottle shared at a tasting. Cloudy yellow with a big creamy head. Aroma is funky, barnyard and dirty socks. Sweetish, fruity, spicy, mango, biscuit, bitter finish. Light bodied, dry finish. Nice.
3.5 Bottle sample at a tasting at troubles’s place. Thanks rayaron & zvsn. Hazy yellow. Slightly farty aroma, yet nice, with brett, wheat, fruitiness. Flavor is quite dry, fruity, bretty, slightly spicy, with a bitterish finish. Rather light-bodied. Good and refreshing.
3.5 330ml bottle. Tart aroma hits you the moment you remove the bottle top, and closer inspection also reveals plenty of sweet peach and apricot. Those same stone fruit are there in the taste too, with plenty of funky tartness too. It’s a little thin and fizzy, but extremely refreshing. I’m sure I could spend a very pleasant afternoon out in the sun drinking these.
3.7 Bottle, 330 ml, courtesy of JFK10000. Shared with him and Miro. Pours cloudy yellow, small white head. Light citrus, yeast, horse blanket. Moderate bitter finish. Light bodied, quite refreshing summer beer.
3.3 Aroma: peach, floral, pineapple, spicy in the background Taste: light bitter, tannin, leather, fruity, spicy
3.6 Pours gold with white head. It’s a funky, fruity and bitter beer. Reading my notes here makes me think I liked it.
3.4 Bottle. Sensoric. Golden, little hazy with small to medium white head. Medicare head retention and lacing. Aroma is mild, honey-like notes are dominant, also some light flowers and grapes aromas, peachy. Taste is semi-dry, lightly hoppy. The brett and funky notes are well hidden. Light to medium body, watery texture, average carbonation, finish is semi-dry and lightly bitter. Nothing special, of sour ale is not so sour, the aroma is more likely white wine BA Mikkeller beers.
3.4 33cl bottle from cervezalandia. Hazy gold to orange color. Thin medium white head. Taste is medium sour and bitter. Sweetness is low. Body is medium and dry. Finish is long. Aroma is herby, hoppy, malt, wheat.
3.3 33cl bottle Pours a light gold with no head just a whiteish scum Aroma mild citrus lemon grapefruit taste citrus tart long dry finish interesting beer
3.6 On tap at the Mikkeller Kyoto Pop Up. U Alright a 4.5% Belgian Pale Ale which has a nice fruity grape and earthy pine hop bouquet. Medium to light bodied with a dry ascerbic finish. The taste is spritzy light hops, seltzer, crackers/soda bread. Pleasant easy drinking stuff on a hard hitting menu.
3.8 On tap at Mikkeller & Friends, july 26th 2015. Hazy golden body with a small white head. Aroma of flowers, belgo yeast esters and citrus fruits. Taste is dry, bretty light bitterness, pineapple and tangerine taste, light acidic in finish, with a brett and c-hop aftertaste. Pleasant and nice thirst quencher.
3.1 Pleasant, herbish and fresh. But this is rather boring, and doesnt stand up to the sour Belgium ales. If you let it roll around the mouth some complexity comes around but its just a thin beer at the end of the day. I expected more from this. One to drink during the summer months around friends but i wont be revisiting. Might be a good introduction to people who have not tried sour ales before due to its easy going nature.
2.5 Pours a hazy dull yellow. Light Brett notes on the aroma, and a slightly sour flavour, but a disappointingly thin mouthfeel and finish
3.2 Bottle from the Trembling Madness shared with Pix. Pours hazy blond with a thin white head. Light fruity grapefruit aroma. The tast is lightly hoppy with some citrus and grapefruit, some brett and mild elastoplast. Feels pretty watery. A bit of a disappointment.
2.2 Bottle from Trembling Madness in York. Hazy light golden in the glass with a frothy rim of head. Very citrussy and a little medicinal on the nose. Very sharp and too medicinal for my liking very benedictine tasting which isn’t a flavour I enjoy.
4.0 Hazy peach color with white head. Aroma is really fruity and hoppy. Hops are dank and give some dark berry aroma. Taste is just slightly tart but mostly hoppy and fruity. Just slightly bitter, very balanced overall. Light but smooth body, really easy to drink. I really like this one, a nice wild-IPA combo.
