3.5 0,33l bottle from Trope, shared with wiosna @ Tuxera. Pours cloudy brown with a medium off-white head. Aroma is slightly fruity malts. Flavor is slightly fruity malts with some hops. Good balance. Tasty.
3.5 Tap @ MO. Pours hazy Brown with a white head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, fruity, light honey dew. Light bitter, malty sweet, light dried fruits. Quite classic.
3.3 On tap in Copenhagen. Has a soft sour cabbage aroma and hints of rye bread with yeast culture. Flowing head is on top of a dark ruby-brown body. Flavour is nice soft amber notes, caramel and sweet brown bread. Medium finish, but not too crisp. It's a decent brown ale, but simple in execution.
3.3 Bottle. Pours brown with a little white head with lacing. The aroma features both malts and hops; dark fruitiness, bread, nuts. Taste is medium sweet, very lightly roasty and light bitter in the finish. Flavours of dried fruitiness, caramel, sweet bread. The palate is medium-bodied, smooth and average in carbonation. Fairly sweet and low on hoppiness given the high number of EBUs.
3.3 Brązowe, niska piana. Trochę melanoidyn, chleb, toffi, lekko zamulające, słodkie. Jak na styl nienajgorze.
3.3 Copenhagen 23/3 2018. 33 cl bottle from Ørsted Vine. Quite chaotic looking label with Keith Shore figures and several shades of Brown. Pour dark brown with red hue and big white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick creamy layer of foam. Substantial lacing. Aroma is intense. Fruity sourness intermingling with more subdued sweetness. Soft carbonation and slightly thick texture. Flavor is medium sweet followed slightly lighter bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish and nutty. Lingering. Nice Brown Ale - but pretty middle of the road.

3.6 Bottle. Brown colour, aroma of caramel, fruits. Taste of caramel, fruits, moderate bitter finish
3.3 2017.12.07: Bottle from 2016. Aromas of caramel with hints of roasted malt and chocolate. Brown liquid, a bit hazy, fine white foam. Well-tasting, medium body. A fine brown ale.
4.0 0.33l bottle. Malty aroma, hopy notes, caramel. Hazydark amber color, creamy beige head. Malty taste, hopy notes, caramel, medium bitter. Light to medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation and malty bitter finish with caramel notes. Very good.
3.2 Sold as Mikkeller Vesterbro Brown Ale. Smell of hops. Dark brown colour, very high brown head. Aroma of hops, grass, some malt in finish. Reminisces more of an IPA than a brown ale. Lively carbon, half-heavy body.
3.1 Backlog, ocena przepisana z untappd, w ramach uzupełniania profilu na ratebeer. Orzechy, karmel, nieco wodniste i bez wyrazu.
3.4 Hazy amber with small white head. Aroma is hops, caramel and mango. Taste is bread, hops and lime
2.8 (Bought 12-18 months ago) Brown colour. Medium to long lasting off-white head. Nose: Sweet maltiness, yeast, some chocolate and hints of moderately roasted coffee. Taste: The arrival comes with a quite rich mouthfeel thanks to the rich carbonation. Then the body slims down noticeably on the mid palate, which is soft with some maltiness, medium brown coffee and a little bitterness (hops, I believe). There is some sweetness coming and going here but I would say the overall taste experience is rather dry. Post initial carbonation, this beer is medium bodied. The exit and aftertaste has malt, moderate bitterness and a small touch of darker chocolate. Not bad but also not terribly exiting, to be honest.
2.7 Decent. Some maltyness and hoppier than most Brown Ales. But somewhat unbalanced.
2.6 From tap at Mikkeller Haven Bar KBH with JU, ES and TB 29.03.17. Copper. White head and lacing. Aroma and taste of extrect of berries, dark syrup and figs. Medium bitter. Perhaps a bit unharmonious.
3.4 Red brown. Great head. Hoppy aroma. Crisp. Bread. Brown. Good. Weakish body. Decent.
3.6 Bottle 0,33L. Dark, ruby brown color with huge, frothy, long lasting, light brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, nuts, caramel. Taste starts light bitter and caramely, but it turns fast to medium bitter with tartnes of fresh nuts and some burnt caramel in the aftertaste. Medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation.
3.5 From Tap; reddish brown color; aroma is dark sugar, malty, pukey yeasty notes, gentle hoppy, overripe fruit; taste is medium sweet, caramel, nice hoppiness, low to medium bitter finish; creamy mouthfeel with medium carbonation
3.7 33cl bottle. Pours brown with medium sized beige head. Caramel malts, chocolate, toffee with curious hop profile. Hard to describe, but really good.
3.4 17/I/17 - 33cl bottle, hop seminar the "after"-tasting @ De Proefbrouwerij (Lochristi) - BB: n/a (2017-59) Thanks to Dirk and Dirk for the seminar! Clear pale brown to amber beer, huge light beige head, very stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: sulphur first, bit dirty, bit fruity, some caramel, raisins. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sourish, malty, grains, some citrus, little dirty. Aftertaste: hoppy, bitter, malty, caramel touch, some banana.
3.5 Bottle. Pours a reddish brown with a billowy, beige head .Aroma is citrus, grapefruit. Taste is semi-dry, smooth. Caramel, grapefruit, citrus, nice, slight sweetness. Slightly wooden and nutty. Pretty well done.
3.5 Draught at Øl & Brød. Hazy, amber colour with a fluffy, lightly tanned head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, fruits, nuts, citrus and lightly toasted notes. Taste is light bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter with citrus fruits and caramel malts. Nice, highly drinkable Brown Ale.
3.6 33cl bottle from local Alko. This skilfully made brew reminds me of saying: “The few who do are the envy of the many who watch.” - Jim Rohn. Mikkeller just does not let you down no matter the style.
3.7 Bottle from alko tuusula. Clear dark brown color, big head. Aroma has chocolate, some fruity notes, hint of licorice. Taste has chocolate notes, hops, some sweet fruity notes.
4.8 A ale-ish beer that’s sweeter and denser or richer compared to ales that I’ve previously tasted. The carbonation is very creamy, guinness-like, but there’s less foam. The color is mead- and coffee-like. The taste is very elegant with the typical ale dryness, bitterness and yeastiness, but the taste has more "body" than other ales I’ve had. It tastes like a mix between some generic ale and Guinness-like stouts. I cannot pinpoint clear flavours other than that it tastes like "dark beer" and is again Guinness-like. It’s an excellent beer though and I find nothing to complain. Would buy again, if I fancy this style of beer.
3.5 Draught at Mikkeller Bar. Dark copper color, white head. Bitter taste with malts, nuts, toffee, a bit of ripe fruits and bread. Bitter finish with malts, citrus, nuts, toffee and a bit of ripe fruits. Peculiar, but good brew.
3.5 Bottle. Chestnut brown with big ivory frothy head that stays. Promising aroma of dark chocolate, caramel, fruity and floral hops. Light to medium body. Oily texture. The taste starts optimistic showing nice balance of chocolate malts and floral hops. At the very moment you are ready to scream out a compliment the mouth feel breaks down. The ending is hollow. I’ve missed my orgasm. Pity.
