The Tasting panel Said:

Cloudy light orange with a fine foamy thick white head

Aroma – A mild spicy impression with acidic green apples, cloves and a sweetness as from dried apricots. We also find some bitterness as from lemon peel and a lactic touch. You clearly sense the saison notes as white pepper and mild various spices.

The taste blasts out the saison expressions in the beginning and we think of oxidated apples as you find in certain ciders – after that you get the lactic and sour impression that appears very refreshing and drinkable. A freshness topped with dry impressions of the barrels. You feel like another sip.

The mouth feel is not as carbonated and fizzy as in most of Mikkellers spontan beers. The finish is very dry with a touchy bitterness that again reminds of citric peel. For some this citric bitterness could get too much.[vr]
It certainly have a Christmas like expression.

Would compliment curry herring or other lightly spiced fish dishes well.

3.9 Tap at Salon piva. Quite subtle beer, good for rumination over a big bottle by yourself. Quite complex too - combining light lambic funk and sourness with light fruity spicy saison character. They blend well, but need to be given time to shine. Drink much of this beer. It is good.
4.0 the aroma is fruity and spicy with hints of apples, white wine, flum, cherry, yeast and some herbs... the taste is fruity and tart with notes of green apple, prunes, cherry, wine, sour milk and some other berries... sour, dry and, a little bit, sweet aftertaste...

3.6 Pour is a dark blonde with a huge white head. Aroma is some green apple and some funkiness with candi sugar. Flavor is more of a cooked apple, a big funk and basement must and a bit of spice and the lactic sourness hits you right at the swallow, A very rustic flavorful farmhouse type ale. This is probably what a saison tasted like back in the olden days. A very nice ale and a good bargain bin pickup.
3.7 Keg at Taphouse CPH, 11/11/17. Clear golden with a well presented off white head. Nose is tarte citric peel, funk, damp alleyway, musty. Taste comprises grape must, light spice, tarte citric rinds, lemon pissoi, green berry funk, balsa wood. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a modest pucker. Decent easy drinking sour.

3.9 Nagy, tartós hab, borostyán szín. Gabonás, fűszeres, enyhén animális illatok. Enyhén savanykás, gabonás, fűszeres, kissé animális ízvilág, de inkább saisonos jegyek dominálnak. Könnyű, pezsgősen szénsavas, enyhén kesernyés. Jól összerakott, finom sör.

3.6 750mL bottle. Pours hazy gold with a fluffy white head. Aroma is earth, grapes, some lemon, funky yeast, pepper, and a touch of clove. The aroma is very pleasant but doesn’t pop as much as it should; stays too subtle. Taste is citrus, sour apple, white grapes, a little bit of lemon, lactic acid, earth, pepper, yeast, and minerals. Dry finish with lasting pepper. Tart and earthy. Medium body. Average carbonation. Crisp mouthfeel.
