3.6For a light beer drinking this one as a daily staple bread in a can you can’t go wrong. It is the champagne of light beers for certain. You can buy 30 cans for $20 bucks or 24 bottles for 20$ bucks and served extra cold it hits the spot after mowing the lawn or cleaning the pool every single time period!!!!
1.4Haven’t rated this? Drank so much. Yup. Regular generically sad pale lager - light style. Oh well, it has its place.
1.5Cut and paste all these mass produced beers would have a hard time telling any of them apart
1.4High life thats watered down, for a light beer its not too bad, looks, smells, tastes, and finish like any other light. The price is pretty good, thats about it..
2.3From bottle many moons ago...easy drinking light beer...taste is ok...not skunky mostly just grain...refreshing but taste is minimal...ok
2.5Can.
A- Grains, cereal, slightly sweet.
A- Yellow color, clear liquid, white head.
T- Sweet corn, cereal, slightly sweet.
P- Light body, average texture, medium carbonation, boring finish.
O- I knew about High Life but the fact that Miller went as low as a High Life light I figured had to be the worst thing ever. My mom gave me one and I obliged to take it because it’s my mom. All be damned. This is somehow nothing entirely repulsive and a disaster. Not much flavor but surprisingly not at all skunky, even when it warmed it remained easy enough to drink. I suppose I could drink this if given a free one or to mix with tomato juice as cheap as it is. Honestly maybe one of the better pale lagers I’ve had. If it’s ice cold it’s not bad at all.
3.7Never been a light beer drinker but have enjoyed Miller High Life for years. A while back I could only find the light and discovered it has the same crisp flavor I like with less alcohol and calories. So that’s what I keep on hand for when I don’t want a Guinness Draught or a Belhaven Scottish Ale. Love that it keeps its head for the duration.
1.1Tap@ABC Tavern, Cleveland, USA. Worse than Lapin Kulta. Much worse. This really reflects the state of the country.
3.8People. We need to judge these beers properly. Judge Miller High Life Light against other light American Lagers. Is it watery? Yes, it should be. It’s a light lager. Does it lack a distinctive aroma? Yes.
Is it the smoothest going down beer above 4.25 abv? I think so
Is it extremely refreshing? I think so
Can you buy 30 cans for 16.99? yup
Can I drink half that case in a few hours and go about my business? No comment
What light beer is better? I don’t know
Why is the ratebeer score for this so brutal? Because y’all dont know what youre talking about
3.1A great hot weather, beach, boat or everyday drinking beer especially if you are going to have a few. More taste than Miller Lite, sweeter, not bitter and not as "dry"; it tastes tons better out of a bottle than out of a can, almost like a totally different beer.
4.7Overall a great light beer, we enjoy them every time we can find in on the shelves here in Tennessee. Sometimes it is VERY difficult to find, it is usually sold out!
2.2Not good, flavored water that only has one redeeming feature. Served very cold it takes care of a beer thirst on a very hot day. Other than that, avoid
3.3From a 32 oz can. I hate those. They spill everywhere.
Pours a light golden color. Head heavy. Short lived. Lots of lacing. With 32oz there’s enough to pour multiple glasses. Each glass I have a good bit of head foam left in the glass on the bottom.
Aroma is very light. Almost none at all. But I do detect some barley and corn. Cardboard and bread. But it’s clean.
Taste is more of the same. It’s very clean. It’s very grainy. It’s sweet. It’s watery, very watery. In fact, it could be they bottled the rinse water from cleaning the plant. I’m not saying it’s bad. Sometimes I want a beer that I can drink without thinking too much.
Mouthfeel is very drinkable. I guess that comes from the wateriness. I’d rather drink this than a lot of tap water I’ve seen. There’s a twinge of bitterness in the finish, but I’ll assume that it’s hops. Still, it finishes super clean.
Overall, I like it. It’s pretty good. It’s the perfect wind down beer. If I’m going to mow the lawn, I’m going to drink this, not some fancy craft beer. That’s a waste of craft beer! It has a purpose, and this is perfect for those times. It’s cheap, it’s light, and it’s not terrible.
1.1IMO...its better than the Miller High Life...but mainly because since it’s watered down not quite as skunky in aroma and taste. A lawnmower beer.....barely. Looks like pee, tastes like water and grain. That should pretty much sum it up.
3.3First sips gave me an impression of MGD. The mouthfeel is grainy. It is has the likeness of an improved and better version of "Lite" beer. Refreshing too.
0.6some people actually used the word inoffensive to describe this shyte. Really?!!! MHL is one of the worst beers ever...and this is the watered down version. Maybe that’s actually better, but man, this is foul. I haven’t had this too recently, just had forgotten to "rate" it. It...uh...sucks."

Poured from can into a pint glass
Appearance –Pours a straw color with a huge white head. The head is big and billowy, fading over a moderate amount of time to leave a decent level of lacing on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The nose is heavy of a corn malt sweetness. Mixed with this aroma is a lighter aroma of light citrus.
Taste – The taste begins with a bready and corn sweet flavor. This flavor is the base of the brew and remains relatively constant throughout the taste. More toward the end a light citrus hop flavor comes to the tongue. Mixed with the corn, bready and light hop comes a somewhat metallic taste as well, tarnishing the smoother flavor more toward the end.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is rather light in its thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is rather average. A little higher carbonation may have been slightly better, but overall the mouthfeel was rather appropriate for a American light adjunct brew.
Overall – Well what can you say. Nothing special or all that flavorful. If it wasn’t for the off flavors at the end of the taste it would have been much easier drinking and sessionable.
2.3Haven’t had it in the bottle... Might be better but out of the can it leaves a lot to be desired. has a very metallic taste that I find unpleasant
1.0Bottle. Light golden color with an actually pretty decent head. Aroma, water a tad of grains. Taste water, a tad of grains. Is this beer?
1.6Bottle out with family from backlog notes. Pours a pale yellow color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor are grainy malts and corn with not much else. I guess it serves a purpose, but generally I would pass.
1.3Good grief, I’ve never said anything on this until now. Okay, well, here’s my take.
This has been poured more than enough times in pint glasses and pilseners, did anything change? Ha, nada, and here’s the rest.
The appearance was a super light yellow color with rapidly rising carbonated bubbles trying to fill a rapidly dissipating white bubbly head. There wasn’t any lacing.
The smell, well, uh...perhaps some grassy tones and that’s about it.
The taste, well...uh...gee weez, honestly, there’s just some sweetness, and as many times I’ve had this, I have no idea what that sweetness actually is. Don’t ask me, I didn’t make it.
On the palate, well, another "exceptionally light" beer that shows more than enough of a good sessionable quality about it.
Overall, well, if anything it fits the style. Did I like it? Hmmm...not exactly, its one of those beers I think I’d rather have if I was trying to lose weight and still try to fit in with everyone else. Other than that, this one actually doesn’t do anything for me.
1.0The light version of the High Life, just a lighter version if that’s possible. Mainly just grain on this one.
1.5can. pale golden with small head. light sweetness with some corn and grass. not much flavor
3.3Bottle fresh from the source. The beer is actually surprisingly flavorful when warmer than the flavorless ice cold we’re all accustomed to. A nice vibrant golden body with champagne like carbonation and a spotty lacing atop a starch white head. Aroma of corn and grass. Clean all around. Much preferable to Miller Lite. Flavor is clean corn grist and subtle barley. Super easy drinking. I don’t understand the hate on this beer. I have drank many a craft beer that weren’t made with the care this has undergone. Clean palate that still has a substantial feel.
1.616 oz. can:
Clear gold with a tall, frothy white head.
Scent is slightly grainy, a little cornflake.
Taste is barley and water malt.
I think I’ll just say the word, "innocuous" and leave it at that.
0.8Pours a wan clear yellow, thin white head. Aroma is malty and barely noticeable. Flavor is slightly malty, scarcely distinguishable from water. Texture has a little fizz, but is hardly like beer at all. No wonder my father called it "Swiller Low Life."
2.0This is not that far off from High Life. It loses some of the cereal quality of its parent. The beer is exceptionally light and a little too thin. It serves to wash down a pizza.
2.6A refreshing, light option for those people who love living the High Life but want to keep it light.
3.6This is really a great tasting light beer. It is cheaper than Miller Lite and I think it tastes better. $11.99 for a 30 pack. It’s a great deal.
1.6Bottle gifted by Drake. Very pale yellow, tiny head. The nose is pretty sedate. Maybe some bread, hints of apple and sugar. Similar absence of flavor. Light bread, apple sauce. Cardboard. Little else. Light body, pretty fizzy. Massively unsatisfying.
