Note: shared this with my mother-in-law, or "belle-mère" in French. Given the bitterness of this beer, I guess the brewer doesn’t have the best relationship with his. :p
Clear dark blond beer, big creamy irregular white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweet, fruity notes, spicy, malty, some banana, herbal. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very spicy start, bit hoppy, soapy, yeast touch, some banana. Aftertaste: spicy, yeast, floral, some citrus, bitter, hay, bit malty, more soap.
Bouteille at home mais dans le village de production : Breuvanne. Liquide orange limpide très joli. Nez houblonné, épicé, herbeux, agrumes. Bouche un peu sucrée, amère aux saveurs d’orange, d’épices, de biscuit. Belle longueur et encore un beau produit de chez Millevertus.
Drinking from a 30cl bottle.In the aroma hop and yeast.The unclear pale orange beer has a medium white head. In the taste fruity hop, nice bitterness. Medium carbonated.
33cl Bottle from Vonk. Close to BB date. Hazy golden orange colour, white head. Aroma of malt, old cookies, apple sauce, stale hops, hay, yeast, honey. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, old, cookie dough, honey, grassy herbal hops, yeast, bitter finish. Light bodied. OK, should be a lot better when really fresh.
Blonde orangée foncée, voilée. Mousse blanche, texture neigeuse, quasi crémeuse, légèrement mouvante en surface, bonne tenue. Bullage moyen. Nez fruité doux d’agrume et de fruits mûrs à la fois, gourmand. Bouche douce, moelleuse (fruit mûr, biscuit) et amère à la fois, houblon fruité agrume, abricot et belle amertume. Amertume progressive, agrume, zeste, qui équilibre une bouche gourmande et aromatique. Corpulence moyenne, un peu huileuse, carbonatation assez faible à moyenne. Finale amère longue. Une blonde plutôt douce et gourmande, fruitée, avec une amertume houblonnée balançant le tout. Pas IPA.
Goudgeel, iets wazig en een volle witte schuimkraag die blijft. Veel koolzuur zichtbaar in het glas.
Aroma: Fruitig, perzik, broodachtig en mouten tarwe, honing en gist.
Smaak: Iets zoet, moutig en fruitig, daarna al snel een netelige florale bitter en een beetje kruidigheid. Duidelijk goed gehopt..... als de bitter iets wegzakt blijven er een paar tonen van perzik, honing over.
Body is medium, voldoende koolzuur, finish is bitterzoet.
Een prima gehopte blonde!

Bouteille de 33cl. Couleur orangée; léger trouble, mousse moyenne, tenue assez faible. Avec un nom comme çà, il faut assurer l’ amertume derrière! Elle est bien là, progressive et pas envahissante. Aromatiquement, on a du fruit et du caramel. Carbonnation moyenne. Trouvée à la Brasserie Delneste - Froidmont.
More typical than expected Belgian ale, with fruity yeast, light sweet bread type malts, very moderate hops actually. I think the hops are pushed away because of the yeast choice, so much more should have been used or a cleaner fermentation. Taste isn’t very bitter at all either. It’s an okay Belgian ale, but really too common for its own good. (33cl bottle from the brewery)

Keg at L’Autremont Dit, Lille, France. Hazy gold with white head. There is a Belgian yeasty note to this from the start, some bubblegium hints with a pear drop note. A tarty, citric notes works in, quite hoppy in character, some drying on the palate, decent depth. Pretty reasonable.
Bottle @gastropub kaleva. Golden color with small head. Aroma has yeast, caramel. Taste is malty with somewhat bitter and dry aftertaste. Flavors of malt, fruits, citrus.
Drunk from 33cl bottle bought from Malting Pot, Brussels. Enjoyable cloudy, hoppy, blonde beer.
Bottle from LDW. Hazy amber colour, white foam. Nose of tropical fruit, honey and bitter hops. Dry and bitter hoppy ale. Yeasty. Easy drinkable. Well balanced. Nice surprise!
Bottle 33cl. Hazy pale amber, small one finger frothy off-white head, diminishing slowly, good lacing; aroma light but complex, pale malts, light caramel, nutty notes, yeast, grass, basement; taste medium sweet and bitter, fruity notes, light toffee; medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, aftertaste lingering light bitter, herbal notes; a refined and complex ale, very nice.

0,33l bottle @ Bier-Bier. Pours hazy yellow with a medium head. Aroma is malts and wheat. Flavor is malts, wheat and hops. Great.
Bottle 33cl @ Le Barboteur, Schaerbeek. Some biscuit notes in the taste that reminds me of a tripel with more bitterness though. A good refreshing blond.

Tap at the Delirium Cafe, Brussels. Poured a hazy medium amber with a big frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is tropical fruit, barnyard yeast. The flavour is moderate bitter with a big chewy buttery yeast, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Tasted more alcoholic than it was.

Aromat to bardzo minimalne nuty owocowe, miód, karmel, kandyzowana skórka pomara?czowa i ... "sucha trawa".
Po ogrzaniu intensywniejsze staj? si? akcenty s?odowe. Walory smakowe podobnie jak aromat, s? bardzo delikatne, a jedyny mocny punkt to goryczka.
Solidna, intensywna i d?uga, mo?e nawet troch? za d?uga. Alkohol ?adnie schowany, nasycenie ?rednie.
Podsumowuj?c: La bella Mere to piwo dobre, ale raczej nie najlepiej zbalansowane - w ko?cu nie sam? goryczk? cz?owiek ?yje.
Tak czy siak warto spróbowa?.

Thanks again :) A yellow "woody" opaque hazy beer with a big off-white foamy head ; medium retention. Light biscuit, herb, lemon. Medium dry bitter refreshing, light sweet. Light to medium body, thin texture, average gaseous, dry bittersweet biscuit finish. Overall, good !
Sunday, March 1, 2015. Bottle, 33cL. Home. A brown orange opaque beer with a small white head ; poor retention. Fruity aroma (tropical fruits, citrus), resin, biscuit. Medium dry bitter, refreshing, light fruity sweet. Medium body and texture, good carbonation, dry bitter finish ; warming background. Overall, I enjoyed this one : nice bitterness, fruity, delicious ! 8-2-7-3-14=34
33cl bottle. Appearance: Golden orange colour on the body, hazy, almost two fingers sized white head, thick foam and with good retention. Head leaves night lacing. Aroma:wheat grains, sugar, honey, appricot , floral tones and bergamot, Taste: sweetish, wheat grains, light floral notes, honey and appricot. Before finishing with a light but floral and bergamot subtile bitterness.. Aftertadte is a light floral bitterness.

A Belgian Ale, with some hints of an IPA., nice.
A true IPA, gold/amber color.
Some pine aroma, but not a strong hop smell.
The strength of this beer is its in malt complexity within an IPA, very nice and malty. Finishes bitter for European standard, medium high for a USA IPA.
Very good, I recommend it.
On tap at Delrium. Hazy blonde.
Aroma: floral hops and some malt.
Taste: good mix of sweet and bitter, spicy hops.

(Millevertus La Bella Mère) Bottle 330 ml at home, served into a tall tulip, ABV 6.5%
Golden orange colour on the body, quite hazy, almost two fingers of white head, thick and with good retention, leaving heavy lacing on the glass.
Aroma has boiled wheat grains, sugar, honey.
Taste is sweet, again boiled grains, light floral notes, honey-like touches, light bitter finish and aftertaste.
Medium body, good carbonation.
Nice, tasty.

Taste like an IPA. I do appreciate it for a good start of a hoppy tasting night. My personal best from Millevertus brewery (they have very good products)
0,33l fles, met een eigenaardige bierpul erbij geserveerd. Kopergoud van kleur met een blonde schuimkraag. Smaak en geur zijn redeljk zoet, stroopachtig, in de achtergrond ook wel wat citrus en gras van de hop. Aardig maar geen hoogvlieger.
Bière que le brasseur appelle très modestement « blonde houblonnée », et qui se révèle être un grandiose ipa, et que ratebeer appelle évidemment une belgian ale… Quand on ne veut pas se casser le cul …
Elle titre à 6,5 % abv, parfait pour un ipa, et mon exemplaire était à date en août 15.
Couleur orange abricoté, avec un voile de levure (énorme saturation en co2 à l’ouverture).
Bulles fines en fontaine très dense et vive au centre.
Mousse beige clair bien crémeuse, et stable durant toute la dégustation.
Arômes de houblon superbe, Orval, malt grillé, pamplemousse.
1ère bouche très souple avec des relents d’écurie à la Orval.
Arrière-bouche d’une amertume exceptionnelle.
2ème à l’exceptionnel ensemble houblon/malt clair.
Arrière-bouche à l’allure typiquement orvalienne.
3ème nez merveilleux.
3ème bouche à la texture veloutée et à l’amertume de première classe.
Arrière-bouche à la parfaite amertume.
La longueur développe la complexité sur des nuances de grand chai de blanc, des herbes sauvages,
des agrumes confits. C’est splendide.
Les jambes sont groupées et très lisses.
La levure est d’une ligne magnifique.
L’alcool est parfait pour le genre (IPA, qu’on se le dise …), travail superbe.
La finale fait ricaner la belle mère de plaisir (regardez sa tête sur l’étiquette…).
CONCLUSION : sur 125 ratings, cette bière a reçu un maximum de 4 jusqu’à présent,
alors que c’est un 5 absolu !!! Une merveille pure, si on aime l’Orval bien entendu,
et l’Orval a reçu 101 fois la cote de 5 !!!
Golden hazy with rich white head. Mild citrus a bit sweet taste. Carbonated. Mild but enough strong bitterness in the remaining aftertaste.
