4.0 A great beer. From can poured into tumbler. Yeasty with corn and a pleasant subtle maltiness. Full flavored with a medium-light body.
1.7 Can. Pours a pale straw color with a thick white head that dissipates quickly. Slight bready and yeasty aroma. This is not Milwaukee’s Best Light beer but the beer of choice for my college years mostly due to the price and the fact that there is no bad flavor. There is virtually no flavor. The mouthfeel is harsh and fizzy. There are no hops detected. It’s not offensive though and a poor man’s Miller Lite as they are pretty close in flavor.
2.6 For a light beer, it pours with a slightly thicker than normal creamy white head which does not last long. It has some thin lacing, but it doesn’t last long either. I’m pretty high on Natural Light, and this is comparable, somewhat......Not a whole lot going on wiith aroma. It’s corny smelling, maybe some biscuit. There’s not a whole lot to describe.... It looks like a light beer should, maybe a little darker. It’s well carbonated, lots of teensy bubbles rising from the bottom. Have to look close to see them......It tastes smooth, and light. I just lowered my rating a little, because it’s not much more than mineral water......Little bubbles tickle my tongue. But not much else.... Overall it’s easy drinking. If you plan on drinking a lot of these, it’s cheap and the way to go. They go down easy, and easy on the wallet. I still prefer Natty Light, but this is a little lighter.
0.9 355ml can. Yellow pale pee pour. This is jsut garbage, similiar ot miller light as in corny mineral water.
2.9 Pretty good value brand... it tastes well enough for a light beer. Goes down fast... Not good, not bad... I would suggest something like this for a party your bringing the beer for everyone. $14 for a case of 12oz cans
1.8 12 ounce can. Pours a clear pale golden color with a thin fizzy white head. Poor head retention. Aroma of corn, green apple and grain. The taste is grain with a hint of tinny hops. Thin, watery, boring, inoffensive.
1.0 Reviewed from having had in college: pours a clear light golden with white head. Just plain grain on the nose; nothing special.
2.0 Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a clear yellow color with a one finger of bubbly whiteness that dissipated within less than thirty seconds. There wasn’t any lacing. The smell had some cooked corn with a vegetal and slightly iced sweet corn thing going on. The taste took all of those previously mentioned flavors and added a slight metallic flavoring. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with what should be sessionable but the metallic flavoring somewhat prevents that. Overall, not exactly a pale lager I would have again.
0.9 Sampled at ESBLS. It poured a pale yellow color with almost no head. The aroma was corny and light. The taste was a bit sulfury with some faint malt hiding behind the corn.
4.3 Apparently, some sissies have been rating this one. This beer’s got body, nice, mildly sweet and "hoppy" taste, with a finish that makes a man feel like a man! Decent alcohol flavor with less than 100 cals. My favorite light beer.
1.4 12 oz. can. This and the regular version were my dad’s beers of choice because it was cheaper than Hudepohl at the time. Pours a clear light golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor consisted of sweet corn and a touch of apple juice. Slight metallic notes as well. I can’t spin this any other way; it’s not very good. I guess there are some out there that are worse though.
2.4 For cheap beer an the fact Miller makes it is fine with me.. Sure it’s not the same as Miller Lite, but for the cost.. it does me good when I buy it..
0.5 No thanks on the quality. Absent from taste and flavor, like Hamms, it will get the job done...
1.0 Ins Glas ergießt sich ein hell goldgelbes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch ganz leicht malzig, getreidig. Geschmack sehr wässrig, minimal malzig, getreidig, ganz leicht herb.
1.0 Canned in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. Clear pale yellow, rich head. Sourish rice water aroma. Sweetish with empty body. Flavour is like an empty metallic cup without diluted water. Sourish vacuum finish. Mostly harmless, but in a disturbing way.
0.9 The only good thing I can say is that a whole case of this garbage was given to me for free. It pairs well with anything that you want to end up tasting like sparkling water aged on gourmet cardboard. Cheers!
0.5 Do you like the taste of corn with water? That’s about all i can remember of the few times I drank this.
1.6 Big fucken can @ Brad’s house picked up in Wisconsin. Pours a light clear yellow appearance with a fluffy white head. Water, corn, lemon, light fruity aroma. A bit sweet, highly carbonated, watery, twangy flavor. A touch metallic. Super watery and bland.
1.0 Can: Clear, bubbly gold with a puffy white head. Soapy, grain malt aroma. Taste is light, soft, lemony grain malt. Watery......very watery. Nothing really "wrong" with it...just.....nothing......nothing at all.
1.3 12oz bottle 1/01 (old Notes)-Pours lighter golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, grains, and grass. Taste of the same. This light bodied is better than the original IMO. Not nasty like the other light pale lagers.
1.2 Small head. Fair lacing. Sparkling honey yellow body. Aroma of mild malt, mild yeast, and bubble gum. Light and thin body, with flat carbonation. Little to nothing flavor. Yellow colored water is a more apt description.
1.5 Very cheap especially where I live ive drank alot of premium beers but every now and then the check isn’t what its suppose to be and you go low and this was definitely alot better theb any anhesier bush crap ive drank very light head not much gravity but it has a throw a couple more down taste and relax and have a good time cheap decent abv and not a bad taste overall
1.6 Pours is most clear yellow with a lot of frothy, 2 skinny fingers thick head. Nicely colored, looks just as a pale lager should. Tons of grain, grass and slightly stale. This beer was served very cold, as I usually drink my pale lagers around 35 degrees Fahrenheit. Crisp, clean and refreshing, still somewhat stale biscuits. Lots of earthy tons, not as refreshing as the aroma implied. Relatively weak malts and hops but it is very well balanced. For the style and price point this is a pretty good beer but I wish they had tried some unique yeast or hop to liven it up.
0.6 I’m not sure I have ever had a beer that tastes less of anything than this beer. My best description is "dirty water", but even that is an insult to water. Bleh.
1.0 Rated in 2010 (Backlog) - Pale yellow color with a small white head. Aroma is of grain and corn. Taste is the same.
0.5 water with a hint of corn sugar and rice. Reminds me of Bud Light. Yes, it's that bad. No redeeming quality except it was free.
0.9 Not very good, the Ice is stronger with much more of a kick, this is like water .
1.0 The look is golden in color, clear, white head. The smell is floral, malts, and corn. The taste is malts, water, and grains.
2.5 There is some sort of sticky sweetness left on the palate with this brew. The good news is that it goes away after two or three of these bad boys. I have had worse brews although this is a step down from bud light or coors light.
1.6 Sampled from a 16 oz can this beer poured a yellow-golden color with a large soapy white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was tangy and corny and had a faint dry grainy presence. The flavor was thin and watery with a light tangy and corny presence and a very faint hint of perfume. Medium tangy and corny finish. Thin and watery body. Not good but at least not vile.
