Mission IPA

Mission IPA

Our India Pale Ale exhibits a complex hop aroma, largely due to the generous usage of Cascade and Centennial hops, as
well as a subtle malt character from the various malts used to achieve the wonderful balance exhibited in a world-class IPA.
San Diego has become world renown for the wonderful and flavorful beers produced here – and India Pale Ales are no
exception. Our national award winning interpretation of the style reflects both the history of IPA and the American variation
of this distinct beverage. We hope you enjoy it! 66 IBU

3.3 Bottle. Clean orange color with white head. Aroma - Malty, floral, honey. Taste - Medium bitterness, light sweetness, lightly sour, malt, tangerine, caramel, metal.
3.6 Couleur jaune légerement trouble. Mousse blanc cassé qui retombe rapidement. Au nez : Pain, léger biscuit, Houblon herbacé. Texture : Faible carbonation, légère aciditée Goût : IPA assez légère, fraicheur, tranchante mais facile à boire, Amertume interminable ! Accords : Fromage fort coulant (Ex : Coulommier) Plats sucré / salé
3.6 Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Clear amber colour lasting off white head. Yes some hop some bitterness. Some grapefruit a little dirty earth. More bitter than fruity. Easy drinking enough and the bottle disappeared quite quickly. OK sweetish ipa. Good orange flavour. Bitter. Decent.
3.7 On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy orange gold with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is pine and tropical fruit. Medium body, grass, mango, pine, light bitter finish, very good.

3.3 Bomber, thanks Christina! Tropical fruit hop aroma with pine resin and citrus hop notes. Pours light amber colored with a large, soapy off white head that has excellent retention and good lacing. Starts with some tropical fruit and citrus hop flavor that has resiny hop notes lying beneath. Finishes dry with pine resiny hop bitterness that is quite strong and coats the palate. Nice IPA, but very bitter.

3.4 2016-05-03. Dark orange-amber body, small off white head. 3+ Aroma of green leafy hops, caramel malt. Flavour is similar, light citrus, light leafy green hop character, lots of caramel notes in the base malt. Average plus bodied palate, good carbonation. 7/3/7/3/14 Bottle at Drink LA, LAX.
3.4 30th April 2016 Hazy gold beer, good cream colour head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has good fine carbonation. Airy malts, a trace of sweetness. Light and thin hops - orange and orange peel, touches of spice and pine. Light finish. Perfectly decent IPA but after tasting their DIPA and Pale Ale, I was hoping for much more here.

3.4 amber hazy body with a medium retention white head. The aromas are citrus, orange, grapefruit, pine. The carbonation is low.The taste is bitter with a tone of honey and a nice malty backbone. The aftertaste is bitter and long lasting.
3.7 32 oz can! Pours hazy gold. Aroma is grapefruit and other citrus, grassy hops, faint dank, and some caramel. Flavor matches the aroma with a citrus-forward hop profile that nicely balances the slightly sweet caramel notes. Medium body.
4.0 Bottle at home. Hazy orange pour, thin white head. Aroma of fruity hops, floral, resin, pine and some tropical fruits. Flavor is quite bitter, fruity and oily. Great thick body and well balanced. Lovely IPA.
3.6 Bottle. Pours a misty golden beer with a big white head on top. Aroma is nice light fruity citrus hops, some herbal hoppy touches. Flavor nice, subtle bitterness with loads of grapefruits and resinous hoppy flavors. Nice fruity bitterness in there. Carbonation is soft and overall a really easy going WC IPA. Nice one.
3.7 Hazy pale golden, white long creamy head, good lacing. Tangerine, mango, malt under these, mildly pine. Sweet & fruity aroma. Medium body, fizzy, sweet & bitter, dries to grapefruity finish with also pine. Balanced, nice aroma, bit kicks in finish. Fresh and refreshing.
3.1 Dark blond to orange with dense head. There’s a degree of both malty and fruity/candy sweetness to this one. Pithy, dry bitterness in the finish.
3.5 0,33lt @ The Local Pub, Athens, Greece Big bubble foam, lasted not long. Sweet aromas not so hoppy, taste aslo more sweet caramel-orange, less bitterness, but bitter in the aftertaste. Not my type of IPA. Not much carbonation.
4.3 Bottle @ home. Clear orange color, medium to full sized white head that lasts for quite a long time. Aroma is malts, hops, fruit hops, grapefruit, tropical fruits, a slight fruit sweet touch. Taste lightly malts, hops, fruit hops, tropical fruits again, fruity bitter finish. Medium body, decent carbonation. Very nice! Lovely IPA!
2.8 12 oz bottle served into tulip glass. Small head, some lacing. Aroma is malty and sour like. Taste is lightly bitter with some citrus. Light bodied and average carbonation. Overall an ok refreshing IPA. Could be crisper.
3.4 Pale orange color, hazy, with small white ring of a head and little lacing. Aroma and flavor have vegetabley hops, sort of brocolli and pine. A little dank and bitter. Okay overall
3.8 Kolor: złocisty, zamglony, opalizujący. Piana: obfita, drobnopęcherzykowa, szybko się dziurawi, ale jest trwała. Zapach: chmielowy, cytrusowy, żywiczny, z lekkimi aromatami utlenienia, miodowymi. 3.9 12fl oz bottle at home from Craft & Draft, Amsterdam. Body is hazy orange, head is very big, white, creamy, mostly lasting, fair lacing. Nose is malty, tropical fruits, flavor is honey, floral, malty, orange peel, metallic. Medium sweet, medium hoppy bitter, light citric sour. Finish is long lasting hoppy medium to heavy bitter, slightly salty and metallic. Medium body, dry texture, average carbonation. Easy, refreshing, very interesting, pilsner malty notes, nice IPA.
3.8 Light orange cloudy. Aroma man of mango. Taste light malt fruity hops pretty good IPA.
3.5 Poured from a chilled 32 ounce can into a 32 ounce beer mug; a nice waft of hops hits the nose receptors immediately; a thick, huge creamy head floats atop the glass opening, under the ale, which is a cloudy, light honeyed colored hue. If this was readily available here in these here parts, local IPA lovers would, if given the chance to, love it by buying it. Enjoy them 66 IBU’s, too.
3.6 A taste from a friend (bottle) @ Vihreä Haltiatar. Pours cloudy golden with a medium head. Aroma is malts with plenty of fruits and a hint of liquorice. Flavor is malts with fermented fruits, liquorice and hops. Nice.
