3.8 Bottle from Stockholm, drank at home 4th April 14. Pours clear, fairly dark straw, good aroma. Taste is pine, some hops, a little bitter and sweet, American style, malts, crystal? Good and very drinkable
3.1 I forgot a bottle of this in my cellar for two years or so. The best before date was in 160114 and when tasted it was already two months past that. My mistake. Colour is orange, slightly copper, quite blurry - basicly norlma unfiltered IPA look. Aroma is similar to orange juice concentrate: soft, smooth and not too nice. Taste has bitternes left, but unfortunately it’s past it’s prime. Can’t really find notes of the quadruple C-hops from it, just some freshnesh from Amarillo pushes trough. Note to self: Should have drank it while it was fresh.
4.1 Golden colored off white head. Great aroma with citrus and tropical fruit and a bit of hay. Full bodied long. bitter taste. I very nice imperial IPA
4.2 0,33l bottle brought from Sweden. A mite small fizz, almost no head at all. For a double IPA, that’s a shame. Foam does not last, albeit some lacing stays. Taste and palate is on the heavy side from hops and that’s a menagerie in there. All american hops all the way and they haven’t skimped on them. Overall taste is good, a bit on the bitter side for my taste today.
3.7 Pours peach with no head. Aroma is kiwi, honey, peach, apricot, lime, resin. Taste is kiwi, honey, oeach, apricot, esters.
3.6 33 cl bottle. Color is bronze with a nice off white head. Nose is lots of citrus, grapefruit and some bread. Nice taste with a strong upfront bitterness and citrus. Nice beer!
3.4 330ml bottle. Pours a clear medium gold, with a fast receding white head. Hoppy, resiny aroma, spruce, grapefruit, herbs, malt, apricot, marmalade. Off-dry, medium bodied´, mid to high bitterness, slightly low CO2. Hoppy, spicy taste, resin, marmalade, spruce, apricot,,grapefruit peel, lemon zest. Quite light in style, good balance, very drinkable. (2013-12-06)
4.0 Bärnstensfärgad med ett litet ljust skum! Mycket humle i doft och smak! Bra kolsyrad och fin beska! Mycket god ipa! "Dipa"
3.2 50cl. Bottle @ Voldby. Pours cloudy orange with a small creamy off white head. Nose is caramel, dusty hops, grapefruit and citrus. Smooth and dry. Yeasty flavor with dusty dull hops and grains. Not a fresh bottle - thats for sure. Bought October 2013 consumed 1. November -13.
3.8 Fantastisk doft.
4.4 Bottle from systembolaget. Really nice hop aroma, mostly with grape and mango but there are some pine and resin there as well. Nice clear amber/yellow with maybe a bit to little foam. Great hoppy taste where the grape is most prominent and the bitterness is nice and round at a medium level. Light, really dry lika an IPA should and with a pretty long bitter finish. This is a really nice IPA and one of my favourites
3.7 Bottle from Nisse666, cheers Thomas! It pours clear golden amber with a small white head. The nose is pine, grass, orange, tangerine, bread and faint caramel. The taste is assertively bitter, pine needles, earth, grass, resin and zesty grapefruit with a dry, bitter finish. Long finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Nice level of bitterness. Good all-round IPA.
3.8 330ml bottle, pours cloudy amber with a medium sized beige head. Aroma of grapefruit, orange peels and apricots. Taste is similar, grapefruit, orange peels, apricots and a hint of spices. Prominently bitter with a medium body and carbonation. One of the best IPA’s from Sweden.
3.4 Bottle from systembolaget, helsingborg. Little hazy light orange color, little white head. Aroma is quite weird, some sour, maybe fresh hops, malts. Balanced body, fresh hops, malts, sweet notes.
3.5 500ml bottle. Hazy amber beer with a large frothy head. Aroma has strong notes of spicy American hops. Flavor is spicy with grapefruit peal, with a very bitter finish.
4.5 Pours pale and cloudy, Delicate Stingy small bubbles, and a light body. Bitterness comes quick and lasts long (But not Stone ruination-long) If drunk too cold, bitterness is overpowering. Dry all the way with floral, resin and citrus, hoppiness. Satisfying mouthfeel (high abv) An extremely competent beer without any muss or fuss.
3.1 Flaska @ Systembolaget.
3.8 500 ml bottle, rated from backlog. Amber with off white head. Aroma and taste of bread, malt, tropical fruit, pine and some grassy notes.
3.7 Bottle 50 CL. Pours golden with small lacing head. Fruits, pine, sweet. Good beer.
3.8 bottle. orange clear. pines with caramel and exotic fruits on nose. body medium, quite bitter. grapefruit, or rather some sort of blood grapefruit (if such exists). piny caramel, malts. dry, almost mouthdrying bitter. nice. -- bb/wp8
3.8 @ Röhälla. Flaska från Systembolaget (36:-). Guldgul färg. Mycket amerikanskt humle i doften. Citrustoner i smaken, rejäl beska direkt men även i eftersmaken.
3.4 (500ml bottle) Pours a clear golden body with a small white head. Aroma of grapefruit, dried cow manure, caramel, pine, and earth. Flavor of herbs, grass, tangerine, caramel, orange, and pine with a dry, bitter finish.
3.4 Flaska 50 cl. Karamell- och citrusdofter. Också torkad frukt. Extremt besk smak, saknar sötma. Mycket "skal-vit"-beska.
3.6 500ml bottle. Lots of hops, which is to be expected and minor notes of fudge. Pretty straight forward.
4.8 (Rated from backlog.) My favorite IPA. Excellent taste and aroma. Mohawk Brewing Company does it again.
3.3 Bottle. Pours amber with a off white head. Bready/cookie dough malt and somewhat faint pine/grapefruit hops in aroma. Taste is well balanced between malt and hops, pretty much as above. Quite nice try to make and West coast IPA but there are better examples out there - Slottskällans DIPA for instance.
