5.0 This is the true King of Beers. How could Bud be the King of Beers, yanks don’t even have a damn royalty, only Oligarchs ripping the people off even more efficiently for nothing in return.
2.6 Old rating from 2000 - 341ml bottle in Toronto. Pours clear yellow with a small white head. Aromas & tastes of flora, grain & malt. Moderate body. Very light bitter finish
5.0 It’s so smooth. One of the best Canadian beers. Molson Golden is my favorite Canadian beer but Molson Canadian is a close second.Drink it up. You won’t be disappointed. Cheers.
0.5 This is the worst of the mass production Canadian beers. All my pals in university drank it because it was "cool". It was and still is a mass marketed beer. It's the Bud of Canada. Want a good Canadian beer? Try Creemore Springs.
0.6 Rating copied from Untappd. Had at Capital One Arena in Washington DC in 2013.
1.4 Completely uninteresting. Flat, tastes only malt, etc.
4.2 Used to be my favorite and haven't bought in forever. Can still throw em back. Usually comes with a prize too.
0.5 Yuck
3.1 Clear gold with minimal visual carbonation in the form of tiny bubbles. Small white quickly diminishing head. Light body with slightly dry taste and a low hop bitterness level to match the style. Clean finish. Glad to see the brown bottles over the old green ones back in 1985.
2.1 Pours a pale yellow with a thick white small bubble head that laces. Nose is faint grain with a floral hint. Body is medium light. Taste is grain with sweetness. It is watery. There is light - very light bitterness in the aftertaste. 12 oz can BBY 1/24/21 9/17/20: Tasting this beer again, I found that it is better than my first taste resulting in an increase to 2.1 from 1.6.
2.3 Pale yellow pour, disappearing head. Nose is vague malt. Middle is watery light kilned malt, weird brief sweetness, vague hoppiness drifting in the background. Finish tells me nothing.
0.6 33 cl bottle from Hopt / Saveur Bière (made in the UK). Aroma... A tiny hint of malt, rice, and something slightly "chemical". Not unpleasant, but very faint. Taste... Rice, something slightly sour, and then just nothing. There's no bitterness nor any real finish. Very "watery". It's almost astonishing that they are able to produce something with so very little flavor at 5% alcohol. I had low expectations and still ended up disappointed...
1.7 Bottle from Beers of Europe, for a cheap lockdown tick. Light hop, quite a watery palate, not great.
4.0 Pours a deep, clear golden colour A soft fluffy uniform white head retains well, leaving coral layers of lace Aromas of grain, bread, and floral hops Nice flavour of dough, and biscuit, grain, and something slightly sweet Semi-bitter bite and hoppy after taste Very smooth body. Yet, it's crisp with great carbonation and finishes clean and semi-dry
2.2 Golden clear with a two centimetre thick head. Grassy, hoppy smell. A little syrupy, oily taste. Rather bland in taste.
2.7 lys strågul, korn, lett frisk anonym og tynn uten usmaker...................
2.0 Cerveza dorada, con una pequeña cabeza espumosa de buena retención. Cuerpo ligero y carbonatación media. Aromas débiles a malta y algo de trigo. En boca es bebible pero olvidable.
1.8 zapach lekki, trochę słodów, jabłek i słodkiej kukurydzy. kolor jasnozłoty wpadający w słomkowy, klarowny, piana biała, średnio obfita średnio trwała. w smaku lekkie, wytrawne i wodniste, odrobina słodów, skórka od jabłka, liście z kukurydzy i kurz. goryczka niska, kurzowa. lekko suche w ustach. nasycenie umiarkowane do wysokiego
4.5 Hi percentage alcohol, nice taste maybe just a tad over carbonated but goes down well. Very nice
2.1 Definitely a light, mass-produced, underwhelming beer (I hope I’m not offending any brew-bots there), but it at least remains comfortably within the ‘drinkable’ column, unlike the Bud Lights of this world. If it were a comedy film, yes it would feature Adam Sandler, but at least it would be one of his early films.
3.0 Boa lager
2.8 0.710l can. Clear golden color with surprisingly nice looking white head. Aroma of malt, grain, corn and hops. Taste is sweet and little bitter. Unexpectedly not bad.
5.0 This beer reminds me of the Titanic - big, bold, smooth.. and extremely sinkable ! Put a hole in it.. she goes straight down! It has everything you could possibly want from a beer.. or life in general. Crisp Cardboard. Sweet Hops. this beer is best paired with more Canadian Molson. On the 10th day of ascension.. Jesus Christ split bread and handed out tins to those gathered on Mount Molson. "drink yee thy Canadian goodness". every time I finish a can, I cry.
1.3 355ml can (random supermarket, Toronto). Straight from the can as street-tick. Sweet, corn syrup, cardboard in aroma/taste. Nope!
1.6 Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. Pale golden coloured with a thick white head. Toffee, corn and slight grassy flavours are followed by a thin malty finish. Poor for the ABV.
1.4 Bière en canette métal commandée dans l'avion vers le Canada. Nez inexistant, bouche idem, tout juste une pils façon 1664. Espérons que le Canada me réserve de meilleures découvertes !
1.5 It pours a yellow color , aroma of malt with some citrus notes , sweet taste , some spicyness , a little watery. Drinkable , but not enjoyable, there are a lot of better cheap lagers.
4.3 fairly easy drinking lager, quite refreshing, straightforward
4.6 This taste like Coors Banquet and could very well come out of the same tanks but it is more expensive so I don't buy it very often.
1.7 Review: 330ml bottle of Molson Canadian: 4.0% vol. My version was 4%, but in normal countries the ABV is 5%. Nice logo on the bottle, of a maple leaf, Canada’s national flower. On pour get a very frothy white head and a golden coloured beer. Not much in the bottle but what comes out looks pretty fine, a nice looking lager. Some good carbonation going on. Head maintains well and there is some light lacing. Has a lovely light lagery aroma, nice and malty, wheaty……nice on the nose….. Not getting a lot of taste or flavouring from the beer, all a bit like a tonic water, so, so very light. Goes down easy for sure, but so does water, and this has no real bite to it at all. Ok the hops are to be found, eventually, and there are some sweet malts there or thereabouts, and it is nice to sip slowly, but it is generally a boring and bland lager that doesn’t do anything for the imagination. Tasteless, watery and boring. Dare I say it but a bit like Canada itself, DULL……………..cough! LOL
