Using crystal clear water, the finest hops, and Canadian grown malted barley, the Molson Brewmasters slowly ferment each brew to be lighter in alcohol and taste while retaining a slightly fruity aroma and a clean crisp taste.

2.4Originally rated November 2005. Came in a Christmas pack with a bottle of Molson Canadian (not light) and a big tall glass (with a Ottawa Senators logo on it). Pours a nice light golden colour with a medium white head. Retention is poor, but some lacing is found. The nose is quite full, with malt. Watery mouthfeel that is crisp with hardly any aftertaste. Taste of corn is really present, but at least there is taste to this light beer. Real close to the original Molson Canadian (which is what I am about to rate), just lighter ABV. Beats the hell out of Busch Light.
2.2Nothing to special about this Canadian beer-A. Its taste was fine, but flat on flavor-A.
1.4Can. Pretty much the standard cheap pale lager formula, bland, tasteless. Watery notes of pale malts and burnt corn. Wouldn’t miss it if it dropped off the face of the planet tomorrow.
3.2drank from a glass 12 fl. oz. bottle, light feel, gentle pallatte, notes of barley, solid canadian beer
1.5The Moment: Catching up on NBC’s Thursday programming tonight...
Glassware: Cleveland Browns pilsner...
Appearance: A more orange version of the pale Golden; similar effervescence...
Aroma: A pungeant doughy malty sweetness....
Palate: A bit mellow, and a much more bubbly, gassy experience...
Taste: Syrupy sweet, smooth malt finish with little to be done on the way down the throat; clean water, yes--mostly just water...
Overall: Not much of a difference between the Golden and the Light, save the gas and the simplicity of its taste profile; drinkable in vast quantities, but preferably in pong/asshole/regatta/flipcup engagements...
1.2No different then any other light beer. Little flavour and just an excuse to get drunk and claim your drinking ’beer’.
4.3The best tasting light beer [least light-like] on this side of the Niagara River.
3.0From a bottle poured a clear amber color with a fair amount of head. Mslty sweet flavor with a quick finish.
1.7Light yellow, high carbonation. Aromas and flavor are of light grain, slightly grassy. A little skunky but not to bad. I would rather drink this light beer as apposed to many others in cans and bottles alike.
1.312 oz bottle. Aromas of cardboard, stale adjuncts, straw. Pours a little less pale yellow than most light beers. Not much head, decent lacing. Pretty watery, bland. Tastes a little more crisp than most beers of this style--that doesn’t mean it’s good, just slightly above average.
2.3From the 12 fl. oz. bottle marked DEC2709-07622NB. Pours golden yellow with a generous dose of foamy white head and a lot of carbonation. The aroma is of barley, grass, citrus and malts. The mouthfeel is bit heavier than many light beers. The flavor has a hint of hops, rice, and vague malts. Not a bad light beer.
2.1bottle into a glass-FIRST DRINK-As far as light beers go, not too bad, the only problem is that i am not a fan of light beers.HALF GLASS-light and flavorless. LAST DRINK-Tastes like any light beer, watered down.
1.0Overall Impression:
It’s crappy light beer, and since I don’t have much to say: insert you favorite aboot or RCMP joke here
1.8Light in looks, light in flavor, light in smell, light in fun. This beer ain’t heavy, it’s my brother!
1.1Definitely a Light beer, not too much flavor to it really but more than American Light beers which are like drinking water.
1.9Bottle, A very pale golden color body with a thin fizzy white head that dissipated quickly. Aroma is rather light, some corn, faint hay,and a slight bit fruity, very faint citrus. Flavor is quite light ( as to be expected) a bit of pale malt, some other dry grain,a bit of noticable hops, smooth drinker, with little to no aftertaste, not bad for a light beer
1.3Ah, old Canadians lighter sibling. Not bad. Still has that Canadian tastes while having the patented watered down light beer body. If watching your calorie intake, you can’t beat this crap.
1.812 oz bottle. Poured a clear gold color with a two finger white head. The aroma was grain and grassy hops. The flavor was mainly grain.
1.712oz bottle. Pours light gold with a small head. Almost no smell, light grain and grass. Tastes is about the same. Very watery and thin, some tastes of grain malt trickle through. Not bad for a light beer.
1.5Pours a pale gold body with a grainy corn taste. Light bitter hop finish. eh.
1.8Light golden colour with little or no characteristics. Common run of the mill light beer
1.8Pours a golden yellow color. Aromas of corn, grains, and a touch of hops. Flavor is crisp.
3.0This is one of the greatest light beers that i have ever had. They go down easy and they dont taste like crap.
2.6Big 24 oz mug poured from a silver and red can. Ubiquitous pale yellow american lager. Rather friendly and unassuming on the palte. Nice tingly carbonation, which is welcomed. Dull metallic well water background hints. More enjoyable than many a pale lager and has a bit more personality than many light pale lagers. Goes down easy without any apprehension. Finish is not bitter but that slight metallic background reminds you it was there for a minute or two after each couple of slugs.
2.3Fairly unexciting light beer. Nice gold color with a thin head and somewhat watery in taste and weak in flavor. Regular Canadian is much better.
1.8Pale yellow, with a white head. Aroma is corn, grain, malt, and very small amount of hops. Flavor is corn, with bits of hops and malt.
1.8I refused A Molson Canadian Light a week ago from the same friend but relented tonight to having one for the sake of rating. Corn aroma, malt flavored water, best when ice cold, and not very good then either.
1.412 oz. bottle poured into lager glass- last beer of self imposed torture for this evening- poured transparent very light yellow, medium carbonation, white head became a thin whilte line on top. Aroma of corn, a little malt, and one hop note- with my nose directly under the glass for several seconds. Hits the mouth with a very thin watery body, some mild malt and hops notes, does finish clean like regular Canadian. Good thing I didn’t pay for this one, my friend did.
1.2Bottle. Pours light yellow with a white head. Corny malt nose, very light. body is light and watery with a corn flavor and hints of some hop bitterness. It’s pretty easy to drink. Not offensive at least.
1.6Im not a fan of the canadian line by Molson. This only adds to that. Something was off with this beer.. it’s possibly an isolated defect to my beer (it was a single). I forgot what i pinpointedd it to, but it was something allong the lines of metal. Swill.
