2.8 12 ounce can poured into a brandy snifter. The beer is a fairly pale yellow color with a fluffy white head of foam. The aroma is a sweet and grainy sweetness. A little metallic, but not too bad. Lightly sweet in taste, but fairly mellow. Light body and medium carbonation.
1.9 Ordered by mistake. Ooos. Typical slightly sweet grainy lager . Dull and useless. Bad mistake.
1.5 Gros goût de malt cheap et aucun houblon perceptible. Amertume nulle. Parfait en grosse quille à 5$
1.7 Meh for a light beer, abv is nice at least, good for what people want it for I suppose
2.6 12 ounce can. Pale gold color. Small Rocky white head. Metallic grainy malt nose. Tangy sweet malt flavor. Thin bodied with bready notes. Slight citrus hops in finish. Pleasant and refreshing.
1.9 Canned in Malawi. Golden with white head. Aroma and taste has pale malt, light soap, perfume and hay. Meh.
2.7 20 ounce can bought up in Quebec. Served by Grant. Pale yellow in color. Sweet aroma, some pineapple. Taste is sweet, light graham cracker and baguette, some table sugar and bitter finish.
1.9 Burk från kollega, tack! Ljugul vätska med vitt skum. Doftar parfym. Smakar parfym. Inte äcklig men inte speciellt god... Blame Canada!
2.1 not bad for a cheap beer. lighter on flavor but not unappealing. a blonde...now that is an interesting idea. malt syrup.
1.3 My first experience with this was when I was in the military back in the late 70s. At times we were provided beer rations when out in the field. Imagine that? We were given the red can with the black label. It wasn’t a great beer but beggars can’t be choosers. I’ve had worse but it wasn’t that bad either. Not something I would purchase on my own but I’d drink it if the occasion arose. Sometimes we got PBR instead and this was much better.
2.9 I’m gonna keep it short for ths one: this is by no means a quality beer. That being said, it really is the least offensive "trashy" beer I’ve ever had. And its super cheap! It also helps that it has some sentimental value ( I drank the shit out of this in college). But seriously, for a cheap chugger, I haven’t had anything better.
2.9 Bottle, for some reason this is what my Dad chose to drink throughout much of my childhood so I have somewhat of a soft spot for it. Color gold. Head White. Aroma Earthy with not much hops. Taste earthy rough semi-sweet adjunct-malts. Memory - rose tinted...
3.5 My favourite lager. Not too much taste (without being bland) so easy to drink. An excellent thirst-quencher when served ice-cold at the height of the summer.
3.3 12oz can thanks to my beer buddy Cheap!! I understand the low ratings, but this is a classic label, and great grass cutting brew. I know my numbers are high for this one, but it is a classic!! A cheap beer for the right price!! I would buy a case for that everyday beer.
2.0 Yellow color that is clear and has a fizzy white head. Leans heavily toward the malts in both nose and taste with a bit of adjuncts thrown in for good measure. Hopping is very light providing little balance. Pretty well crap
1.8 12oz can (Old Notes)-Pours a clear yellow with a small white head. Aroma of corn, grains, and sweetness. Taste of the same. This light bodied brew is not good nor bad.
1.6 Sugary floral aroma, like an ice beer sort of. Sweet cereal grain flavor, very low bitterness. Soft and not very carbonated. Says brewed in Milwaukee by G. Heileman. (?) More platform sharing from the secondary empire.
1.1 Light flavoured, clean and easy to drink. Able to chug away all day because of its semblance to water.
1.7 24 pack cans. US version. Couldn’t find it so rating as this. Its great, by that i mean its like malty water.
2.6 Can (33 cl), courtesy of Nisse666. Clear golden, medium white head. Grainy, sugary, some faint grassy hops. Light to medium bodied, medium carbonation. Dry, low bitterness.
2.2 Enjoyed with friends as an homage to his late father. From notes, July 25, 2012. A: Ever so slightly fruity. Faint floral notes. Some off aromas start to sneak in as it warms. A: Pours a pale gold with a big fluffy head that quickly dissipates into sparse dots of lace. T: Liquid Corn Pops with a metallic off-flavors. P: Thin and watery, strong carbonation. O: Not the worst, but doesn’t set itself out even in that mediocre company. Drinkability hurt by slightly off taste.
2.4 Clear pale golden, small frothy white head, some lacing; malty, earthy aroma, cereal, hay; light sweet taste, hint of bitterness; light bodied, watery texture; crisp dry finish
1.8 Big can of cheap liquid. Blond with a fizzy white head longing a couple of minutes. Smells like sweet corn. Taste like not much. Taste like bargain. Not unpleasant, but, oh, here comes the little stomach burn.
3.1 Can on the Metro North train into NYC. Pours clear gold with a frothy white head. Crispy cereal aroma with hints of hay. Light sweet flavor with moderate sugary cereal, slight grains, hay, bread. Light bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Fairly crisp to finish, bread and cereal. Sweet and simple. OK.
2.0 Typical lager appearance with small lacing. Smells malt and slight floral.. Nice medium mouthfeel with medium/low carb. Sweet, floral aftertaste. Overall: easy to drink and like.
0.9 I wish I could back before I tried this beer and suggest to myself not to bother. Similar taste to blue but stronger and slightly more bold
1.2 can. This reminds me of the first time i tried beer. I thought it tasted awful. I love beer now, but this still tastes like shit.
