Molson Export

Molson Export

Molson Export is a timeless honest ale brewed with a traditional ale yeast that dates back 200 years. It is made with select crops of malted barley and Nugget and Kent hops to provide a rich colour, a fuller body and a bode taste. It has a slightly sweet, robust flavour, a fine hop aroma, and a notable ale character.

3.2 First macro beer I’ve had in a while; chose Ex because it’s an ale. Very little astringency so common among its lager friends, it was actually quite smooth. But it tasted of nearly nothing. No hops and very little sweetness as well. Still, better than most of the macros.
1.6 Orange clear color. Fizzy grain tea. Very astringent no hops just grain water. Sure cold it is drinkable. Better to pre boils with brats.
3.1 Can enjoyed in the hotel room? Light golden color bready sweet maltiness little to no hops. Safer than drinking the water.
2.4 Drank like a thousand of these and they were all bad. Clear golden, flavourless and slightly skunky. Bravo.
2.1 Wypite w Kanadzie w 2010r, puszka alk.5%.Piana obfita, zostawiaślady na szkle. Zapach słodowy, ziemisty, smak słodki, brak goryczki.
2.9 This might be the best Molson that I have tried. Seems cleaner than the others, crisper, etc. I would also compare this more to Labatts, which I prefer over Molson. Don’t know if I have seen or they have Molson Canadian here, but curious to try that.
2.2 Vintage looking can. Pours a clear yellow with a thick white head that leaves ultra lacing patterns on the glass. Nose is of grain and faint earthy hops. Taste is of not quite sweet but carries some cereal flavors along with some fruits and you know you’re drinking something macro. Body is light and carbonation moderately high and prickly. Mouthfeel is watery and bland. While it wasn’t technically good, this one tasted different than what I can remember. Or maybe it is the difference between chugging and tasting it?
2.9 Nice beer to have when you are doing yard work on a weekend. Light sweet grain aroma. Nice light clear amber pour with a fairly good head. Initial slightly bitter grain taste with a slightly bitter, salty finish of short duration. Refreshing, crispy!
2.0 Bottle from Wegmans. Very similar to molson Canadian. Sweet, lifeless, adjunct lager with a touch of bittering hops. Low boost. Watery. Not good.
1.8 "the type of beer you take if you’re at someone else’s house and one is offered, but don’t buy it in the store. if you need to buy Molson, get the ice or canadian."
1.3 Light crispy blah. Somewhere between a golden ale and a pale lager. Cheap but drinkable I guess.
3.8 It has a pale golden color body with visible carbonation and very good clarity. On top there is a bright white foamy head that makes some nice lacing patterns on the glass. It also has good retention as it slowly fades to thinner covering that hangs on until the last sip. The aroma is light overall. It has a sweet grainy character with a touch of corn husk and a hint of alcohol. It has a crisp light cereal grain flavor with very clean or neutral hops that just enough bitterness for balance. Its palate is light to medium bodied with a lively texture and carbonation. The finish is crisp, clean and refreshing.
2.9 Poured out with a decent head over a deep golden body, with plenty of spotty lacing. Nicely balanced malt body that leaves a fairly neat finish from the hidden hop component. Decent feel with nice crispness, but a bit light on the aroma. Very drinkable.
2.8 341 ml bottle @ Montana's Belleville. Pours a clear pale yellow with a large coarse white head. Aromas are sweet grainy malts, a little funk, chalk, and slight lactic acid. Tastes are sweet corn, grainy malts, and subtle bitter hops. More body than typical mass produced ales and a medium sweet malty finish. Definitely mass produced character but a cut above the Canadian, Coors Light standard. ---Rated via Beer Buddy
2.4 50 cl can. Nostalgic beer - aroma is corn, and chickpeas. Taste: sweet and mild hops. Palate: smooth beer, light.
2.3 Bottle (Old Notes)-Pours golden with a small head. Aroma of corn, grains, and sweetness. Taste of the same. This light bodied brew is not bad nor good.
2.7 pretty much crushed a six pack. poured light straw, no head. grains, corn, trends sweet. light watery body.crushed hard.
1.2 341ml bottle. Grainy, sweet, fruity and corn syrup. Thin and watery. Harsh sweet finish.
2.8 Bottle shared thanks to Matt! Pours a clear golden yellow with dissipating white head that leaves light lace. Aroma is bready grain and lager yeast. Taste is similar, less yeast and more grain. Clean and easy, not bad for mass produced.
2.4 Bottle @ home tossed via courtesy of BlackIPA. Tasted during the Pussypete presents Molson/Labatt Grand Tasting 2013 in my parent’s basement. Cheers! Pours a clear golden yellow appearance with a creamy white head. Grape drank, cotton candy, a touch spicy hoppy. Slightly metallic, light cracker, lemon flavor with a slightly bigger body than a typical macro. Not too hard to drink but I’d definitely take Molson Golden over this.
2.0 Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Clear gold brew with white head. Aroma of grain, adjunct, corn. Taste is bland grain, corn and adjunct with a bit of bitter at the end. Kind of kick myself for buying this but the ship logo reminded me of the old Heilman Special Export and I followed the impulse...
2.4 Ahh Export! ..college $2 daft nights, this beer the catalyst of many many fun nights in my youth! Nostalgia aside, this beer pours a clear honey colour, with a foamy white head. Aroma is of corn, crackers, honey, and yeasty funk. Tasting notes include corn, grains, spice, coriander, very light bittering, and a dry finish. As far as macro beers, this beer is slightly above the rest, but it is still a quite forgettable average ale.
2.3 The classic light ale. Grainy and corny with just a hint of hops. Golden color, nice carbonation...fizzy if you want to be uncharitable. Flavor is a rough grainy sweet and a subtle bitter. Body is a tad smoother than its Lager brethren, which makes it a very drinkable beer. Not going to win any awards, but makes for a refreshing drink every time. Not available for export somehow.

2.2 Update of old Tick from 2013. This was the go to growing up in Quebec. Not much to, it but a step above the pale lagers of the day. Some light grassy bitterness.
