Mont Blanc La Rousse

Mont Blanc La Rousse

Bottle: Filtered.

Formerly 7.2%.

This beer is brewed with pure water from our exclusive water catchment on the slopes of Mont Blanc, and from three different malts : wheat, barley and oat. We wanted a beer that has a full body and malty taste but with a refreshing kick to it. We used a combination of warm fermentation and delicate spices like Hibiscus to give it its ruby colour and full taste with a hint of fruity notes. The result is a very complex yet very balanced amber beer that will blow you away!

4.0 Gorgeous looking ale, with a creamy crown and a deep amber color. Malty, syrupy, almost “barley winesque” aroma. Taste is nutty, slightly bitter, with lots of bread.
3.2 Mörk mahogny med tjockt beige skum. Doftar fruktigt, maltigt, kandisocker. Smaken fyllig och söt. Eftersmaken lång och söt, praliner, kola och knäck. För söt...
3.3 Flaska systembolaget. Provning västra laxsjön. Bärnstensfärgad. Örtig, kryddig och jästig doft. Maltig, nötig och kryddig smak. Trä och spannmål
3.1 Bottle from Systembolaget. Incrdisblt sweet but drinkable ale with high malts.
2.8 Bottle from Systembolaget, Sweden. Big beige head. Clear light red color. Medium caramell malt aroma. Semi sweet caramell malty taste. Low bitterness and a bit fruity. Medium body.
4.6 Beautiful ale. Nice and meaty. Full of ripe fruits and figs. Easy on the alkyhol, so you can finish a tall boy without to much confusion.
Torr avslutning.
3.5 Dark amber colour, fluffy head. Aroma: malt, caramel, dried berries. Taste: caramel, malt, hint of tart, some dried berries. Full body, good mouthfeel.
3.6 750 ml bottle, crown-capped with swingtop for re-sealing. From Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.5%. Reddish brown colour, large to moderate off-white head. Malty and spicy aroma, hints of jam and over-ripe fruits. The flavour has the same elements as the aroma, hints of caramel, moderate hops.
3.8 330ml bottle. Drunk from bottle. Taste is nutty, rye, caramel, dark fruits and light bitterness.
3.6 Tap@Le Roc des Blanchets, La Plagne. Clear reddish, off-white head. Nose red fruits (strawberry), malts. Taste sweet, fruity, subtle bitter finish.
3.6 Bottle, 6.5%. Very malty, almost roasted aroma. Cloudy dark brown colour. Stable white head. The flavour is also very malty, caramelly, and not roasted.
3.4 Assez lourde, puissante et sucrée
3.2 Bottle from Beerwulf. Aroma is sweet caramel malt with red fruits, toffee, notes of red berries and strawberry marmalade. Medium sweet flavour, body is medium. Pleasant fruity Amber.
3.4 the aroma is malty and floral with hints of bitter citrus, vegetables, grain and some herbs... the taste is malty and fruity with notes of apple, sweet citrus, vegetables and some spicy grasses... the aftertaste is sweet, bitter and dry...
4.0 Dark red with a frothy head. Fruity smell. Malty taste, almost like a Malzbier, with a bitter undertone. Low carbonation.
3.7 Reddish appearance with a small head. Lovely nutty flavour with a medium body. Interesting label and an interesting beer. A new brewery for me.
3.3 Bottle poured into a branded glass. The beer is a clear copper with a beige head of foam. Lemon and toffee malty character. Stays on the sweet side. Medium body and medium carbonation.
3.8 750ml bottle Red brown colour with huge cream head. Malty aroma. Sweet smooth malty taste.
3.3 33cl bottle from E.Leclerc Argences supermarket near Caen in France. F: big, tan, long lasting. C: deep amber to almost brown, bit hazy. A: rich malty, biscuits, nutty, caramel, vaguely fruity. T: rich malty base, caramel, nutty, mellow fruity, herbal spicy, medium to almost full body, medium carbonation, nothing really special yet not bad, enjoyed.
3.4 Aroma: caramel, toffee, flower Appearance: clear reddish-amber colour with a two-finger beige head. Looks like a ruby. Very attractive. Taste: caramel, toffee, some fruity hint, some herbal hop, medium-high sweetness, medium-low bitterness Palate: medium-full body, medium-high carbonation, creamy texture caused by fine bubbles, medium-low alcohol sensation Overall: It has a nice combination of caramel toffee character and flower fragrance. The balance leans towards sweetness. The biggest problem of this beer is the low complexity.
3.5 A high quality wheat beer with a clear french saison influence. Well made within the witbier style no doubt. grenoble Keep it Weird
3.7 Robe ambrée assez sombre, limpide, jolie mousse rousseatre, carbo faible.
