3.7 20-09-18 // 375ml bottle from ABS Drinks Leuven. Unclear golden. White head. Quite sweetish grainy gueuze with funky touches and a mild acidity. Solid.
3.7 37,5cl bottle at home, bought at De Roemer. Drank it fresh (bottle date 17-01-2018). Appearance: hazy golden straw with fairly big white head that shrinks rather quickly. Aroma: brett, funky, dusty attic, earth, lemon and a hint of strawberries. Taste: medium sweetness, low bitterness and subtle tartness. Notes of brett, citrus, attic, earthy, old leaves. Palate: medium bodied, slicky to oily texture and lively carbonation. The finish is pretty dry. Overall: a fine geuze. A lot softer than expected in terms of sourness. The overall character is slightly more to the earthy side compared to the other geuzes I've tasted so far. I think I prefer a geuze that is more towards that softer fruity side. Still a pretty good geuze.
4.0 (orange, nez sauvage, ~orange-citron, bouche onctueuse, acide, ~légère, last sec-bergamote, lack profondeur from milieu)
3.9 37,5cl corked bottle at home. Slightly cloudy golden, stable white creamy head. Peach, muscat white grapes, light acidity, quite funky, rounded and warm gueuze. Good body, low but prickly carbonation.
3.3 Golden colour with quick fading head. Aroma has a nice fresh green apple acidity. Flavour is similar but with a light dryness. Not as woody as a regular Boon but lighter. Fresh tartness. Decent stuff.
4.0 Fles 37,5cl thuis. Milde zuurheid, droog, licht fruittonen, wat sprankelend. Eigen smaak. (7-2016).
3.9 Botella de @Señor Lúpulo. Despacho de cervezas, Gijón 12/05/2018 Color amarillo corona de espuma blanca, aromas acidos, manta de caballo, sabor acido, cuerpo medio, rica.

Købt i Lambicus, BCN. Mørkegul, næsten orange. Uklar. Lavt hvidt skum. Funky aroma. Klassisk lambic.

3.8 375ml bottle. Hazy amber color. Medium size, thick white head, stays. Nutty, yeasty, sourish, funky, farmhouse and bit of burnt rubber in aroma. Sweet, sourish, massive peach, fruity and juicy in taste. Lots of small thick bubbles in palate. Peaches in aftertaste. Very complex and at the same time simple. Excellent brew.

3.6 2nd February 2018 Partizan bottleshare. Hazy gold beer, patchy bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light, fairly dry, decent fine crispness. Musty cellar vibe. An aged sourness, still plenty of lemon pep. Little tangy dried fruits. Little white wine. Light dry finish. Nice. Like the age on this.
3.8 Bottle shared at at the partizan rot box tasting. Many thanks. A light hazed golden onion coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is funky horsey, onion, walnut, green apple,. Flavour is composed of tangy green apple, complex funk, tangy, gooseberry. Palate is prickly, tangy, pinch of citric, super dry finish. Nice. Dry musty finish. Aged very well.
3.6 Bottle. Shared at Jeff’s. Hazed lemon colour. White foam. Nose has some cheesy funk. Lemon rind. Straw. Dry grain. Taste is mostly dry, with a lemon sweetness. Bright mouthfeel. Foamy carbonation. Gets drier toward the close. Decent enough, but could be sharper.
3.7 Ładne. W aromacie siano, lekka stajnia białe owoce, oud beerselowato. W smaku wytrawnie, siano i owocowo, lekko skórzanie, pestka lekka na finiszu. Kwaśność średnia. Bardzo pijalne. Odbieram jako troszkę mniej owocowa wersja Black Labela.
4.0 Bottle from Cotteridge wines, Birmingham. Slightly hazy golden beer with lots of champagne bubbles and a tight medium head. Aroma is light cheese, yeast and light citrus. Taste is moderate Pickering softness, cheese, light citrus, pale malt, funk and yeast. Very good.
Złożona i bogata to rzecz, godna polecenia.
3.8 Beer Gonzo advent calendar offering - day 4. Slightly hazy golden orange, with a lively but short lived white head. Medium body, sharp palate. Well balanced, with citrus and gooseberry offsetting the hay and funk. Taste has subtle sweetness, light malt, sharp apple, pineapple, grapefruit and gooseberry again. Very decent.
4.0 Citrus, hay, funk, champagne and gooseberries in nose. Pours golden with white head. Taste is dry with citrus, earthy notes, funk, hay, gooseberries and grapes. Finish is tart, lively carbonation. Overall excellent, lovely gueuze.
4.4 Bottle at home. Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma has rosehips, dank and spices. Taste is funky with rhubarb and goozeberries. Really nice.
3.9 Bottle at home. Hazy golden with thin white head. Nose is metallic at first, then horseblanket and sweaty funk. Sweet and sour grain, big sweaty lambic, light spices, apricot and peach stones. Something moldy and grassy in this ole farm. Moderate sweet and more sour. Light bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.
3.9 Bottle from beer Gonzo. Hazy golden colour with a thin head. Aroma is yeasty citrus. Taste light sweet to sour. Full fresh body.
3.8 October 2017 - 375ml cork and cage bottle at home in Richmond, as 'Moriau Oude Geuze', 7%, bottled Aug 2015. The cork did not want to stay in the bottle at all. Pours a hazy orange, translucent, highly sparkling, foamy beige head endures. Aroma is sherbet, lime air freshener, bonbons in powder, lemon. Body is smooth with tingly carbonation. Taste is clean and citric, only slightly tart, cider with a little lime, light metallic notes and some mint, crisp finish with a papery late aftertaste. Really clean flavour but not as complex or as flavourful as the style can be. Still a tasty beer. (9-4-7-3-15=3.8) February 2018 - Friday bottleshare at Partizan Brewery. Cork and cage bottle thanks to Scopey, 2010 vintage. Hazy orange, sparkling, foamy off-white head leaves full lacing. Aroma is orange, grapefruit, musty, some dried up apple. Body is light and frothy with tingly carbonation. Taste is dusty, mixed citrus, grapefruit, dry cider, lingering apple. Has not lost carbonation thankfully, no signs of oxidation. Very drinkable but hasn't “funked up” with age unfortunately. Restrained and drinkable with lowish acidity. Good. (7-4-7-4-15=3.7)
