Nascuda el 28 de juliol de 1923 a Barcelona, es una cervesa bracejada amb un extraordinari ingredient que li confereix un cos i un color unic: la Malta Caramel, Malta, aigua del Montseny (Font d’Or), llupol aromatic i un proces de fermentacio de llarga duracio, son els secrets que donen potencia a la cervesa amb mes forca de totes les Moritz: la Epidor.

Barcelona 25/8 2019. 33 cl bottle from Restarant Vegetalia. Red version of Moritz’ usual label design.
Pours clear amber with small white head. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium-intense, sweet and with lightly burnt notes. Caramel, nuts, brown sugar. Burnt malts.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is sweet followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers for a while.
Good malty brew with a decent ABV.
Draft. Dark clea rbody, very thick head. The aroma has sour malts. The taste is slightly sour. Very good.
Puszka 0,33 litra. Barwa bursztynowa, klarowna. Słaba biala piana. Samkuje jak whisky bez leżakowania w beczce po niej. Sam alkohol.
Cerveza de color ambar, de cuerpo medio y baja carbonatación. Aroma a malta y caramelo. En boca es seca, dulce con un sabor malteado. Para tomar con amigos o en salidas.

05.11.2018 -- 0.33l bottle at liadisimo in barcelona, 2.50€. pours a clear deep amber with a frothy off-white head. aroma of roasted malts, caramel, grass. a bit like a dunkel. flavour of plums, caramel, apples, cake. slightly bitter, tart plums in the aftertaste. not too boozy, quite drinkable.

Bottle@Rillinki, Tampere, Finland. Medium, unbalanced, messy nuances of sweet malts, caramel, some alcohol. Medium taste spectrum and medium aftertaste with boozy malts. Medium body with medium carbonation. Overall, bulk like product, not enjoyable. 5 3 5 3 8
Puszka 330ml. Kolejny strong lager. Bursztynowy kolor,piana biała,średnia, opada nawet powoli. Słód,troszkę goryczki chmielowej, rozgotowane warzywa,owoce suszone,karmel.Na plus dość dobrze ukryty alkohol w porównaniu z innymi na rynku hiszpańskim ( oczywiście gdy jest zimne) oraz nie za duże nasycenie.

Recuerda una buena cerveza belga, Doppel tal vez. Buena espuma y color dorado-cobrizo. Cuerpo medio a completo. Buen saber picante y lupuloso, con un final más bien alcóholico.
Bottle thanks (well sort of) to Did & Karen. It pours clear deep copper with a small, bubbly white head. The aroma is sweet, cakey malts, cereal, rivita, boosty lager, apple and pear. The taste is dry, sweet, heavy, sticky, boiled veg, apple, pear, boozy kick, cereal and cheap gas station cake with a hot finish. Medium+ body, fine prickly carbonation and oily mouth - feel.

Degustada en botella de 33cl,tipo lager con algo mas de cuerpo que la normal sabores sutilmente tostados y ligero amargor.
Botella 0,33l Color ambar con espuma blanca, muy fina, alta,media resistente.Aroma cereales,malta, caramelo,frutos secos.Sabor malta,caramelo,frutos secos,ligero dulsor con un suave amargor.No esta mala pero perfecta no es.
Keg at Kastrup Airport. Hazy amber, small head. Aroma of boiled vegetables and caramel. Sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Syrupy and minerally, soapy and chalky with lots of old boiled cabbage. Lightly peppery finish with evident alcohol.
Flesje gekregen van Niels. Amberkleurig bier met matig schuim dat snel weg trekt. Weinig aroma. Smaak licht kruidig en moutig. Weinig nasmaak.

Poured amber in color with a thin white head. Bready and sweet malty. Pretty much same in flavor. Harmless.
Heldere caramelkleur met witte schuimkraag. Geur is zoet, siroop, mout en iets metalisch. Smaak is zoet, moutig, verbrande toost en een metalische nasmaak.
Bottle [thanks to my good friend Niels] @ home. Clear dark amber color with a medium sized white head that lasts for a short while and leaves fair lacing. Smell amd taste malts, straw, dark caramel / brown sugar, metallic, dry malt bitter finish. Medium body, syrupy texture a bit, low carbonation. Quite boring tbh.
Dark copper color with tanned short lasting foam head. Strong barley aroma and crisp taste. Light bitterness. (Velp 201710)
Bottle 33cl @Barcelona. A copper amber beer with medium head. Nose is on toasted caramel, barley sugar, typical bock notes. Aroma is on barley sugar, toasted caramel, quite sweet, correct but not complex.
Nicht gut "imperial pils" bier. Kein aroma, sehr alkoholische, stark einschlag.
Reserva de Moritz, de aroma y sabor a cereales apreciables. Deja espuma que dura.
Pours clear, and surprisingly dark. Amber, i’dbsaym ok sized white head. Smell is strong, grainy, mild booze. Taste is boozy, strong metallic grainyness. Harsh , not much natural about it’s taste, really. Griany boozyness all the way. Sticky in the back. Agreeable body and carbo though .
Bottle in Aarhus DK. Reddish amber pour with small off-white head. Aroma is malty, honey, little fruity, some iron. Taste is moderately sweet with little character. Not a very special beer. (Drank a draught version of the pilsener few days earlier, and that was neither very interesting or distinguishing).

Pours a clear amber color, topped with a medium small just slightly off-white head. Mild malty nose with some biscuits. Sweet and caramel like. Slight final bitterness. Light body.
Bottle good to get in Barcelona. One demencional beer. Not really exiting.
