5.0 Seriously, its the best Premium Pilsener in Germany! Its well balanced, bitter with a enjoyable hoppy flavour. You will taste the premium quality! On tap is always the best but the bottled beer is also stunning. The best is, that also the Radler, Zwickel and Helles from Moritz Fiege are the outstanding.
3.2 23.05.2018 -- 0.33l bottle from bierlinie, bb 21.04.2018. pours a clear deep golden with a medium head. aroma of wood, sauerkraut, grass, sulphur. flavour of wood, hay, apples, slight acetaldehyde.
Crisp as a cracker - tørr og elegant bitterhed, superb balance.
3.2 02-03-18 // swingtop bottle, thanks to Zlotta! Clean golden, small white head. Classic pils. Crispy malty. Solid bitterness. Good.
3.1 Fra fat på Foesters Feine Biere Berlin 11 Jan 18. Gylden. Høyt kremaktig skum som daler sakte. Aroma av malt & korn. Smaken balansert. Fine bitternyanser. Lett tørr ettersmak.
3.0 From tap during a tasting session at Foersters Feine Biere. A rocky white head to a bright straw-golden body with a greenish shade. Spotty lacing. Aroma of mild grainy malts, mid-sweet. Smooth taste profile of honeyed malts, noble hops, and bread. Distant bittersweet ending. Clean in the mouth. Refreshing with fine drinkability (Berlin 11.01.2018).
3.2 500mml. bottle as part of the European Secret Santa 2017 edition, many thanks to Erzengel for this bottle. Tasted on the 01/01/2018 at home. Pale golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of grains, malts, bread, light floral and grassy. Taste is grainy and bready with a slightly hoppy finish. Next one please!
Gutes Pils!
3.7 Vom fass at Foersters, Berlin. Golden, glistening, bubbily head. Classic pils aroma of floral hops, grass and grain. Taste follows, rather Bohemian style with little room for the malty side. Palate is a longg run of floral hops. Comparable to the great Czech pils beers, maybe a little softer. Really enjoyable. I can see why the bar keeps this as the pils on tap.
2.8 From bottle. Transfer of an earlier rating without text recorded, rating only.
3.7 From tap; straw golden with medium white head; aroma is grainy malty with a soft herbal touch; taste is quite sweet but not cloying, grainy malty, some honey, fades into herbal and citric hops with low bitter finish; texture is creamy with soft carbonation and a medium body
3.7 Clear, golden, sturdy foam. Herbal-lemony nose with honeyish malt. Delicate, light, thin, softly bitter but full of herbal hop flavor. Either well balanced or lacking bite, depending on your mood. I lean toward latter but this beer is full of class.
3.1 Pale golden color small white head. Aroma malt. Taste malt, spices, citrus, grass. Light refreshing bitterness.
3.4 0.3 l on tap at ’Fiege’s Stammhaus’. Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, foamy, stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, fairly grassy-spicy, slightly floral and a bit fruity aroma of hay, some grains and a touch of citrus. Slightly sweet, already quite bitter, grassy-spicy, floral and a little fruity taste of fresh grass, grains and hints of citrus, followed by a medium long, rather dry-bitter, grassy-spicy finish. Almost medium-bodied, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very refreshing, thirst-quenching and crisp example of a classic Pilsener.
3.3 Flip-top 500ml bottle: BBD 22nd Oct 2017. Drank at home on 18th May 2017. Pleasant, easy going Pilsner with a soft and mild nature: usual Pilsner looks, clear and clean pale golden in colour with a fast fading snow white head. Light floral nose and a slight malty taste balanced by a mini hop bitterness. One of the best German Pilsners I have had.
3.4 sip from 0.5 l draught @ some place in the center of Bochum (April 23 2017). Apperance is golden, clear and with a nice head. This is really Pilsener - malty and nicely hopped to balance everything. One of the better tasting German Pilseners.
3.9 (Bottle) Poured clear yellow. Minimal head which did last well. Aroma of noble hop. Noble hop flavours with delicate malt. Not overly sweet or bitter. Finish cleansing but not astringent. Very nice.
3.6 On tap at Foerstiger Feine Bier in Berlin. Fruity and floral smell with some pale bread. Similar taste. Clean and very drinkable.
2.6 #1157 Bottle. Clear golden body, medium white head. Aroma of malts, bread. Taste is lightly bitter, sweetish. Malts, bread, apples, touch of paper. Medium body and carbonation. An average lager.
2.6 Bottle 0.5l from trade with pivnizub, many thanks, Guenther! Clear, gold colored. AROMA- malty, bready. FLAVOR- neutral, lightly bitter, malty, touch of cardboard. Medium bodied. Not so good.
3.3 Bottle - Cleat golden color with nice white head. Taste is a bit sweet, medium malty, medium hoppy with a dry and semi-bitter finish. Good but not great.
3.0 0,33 l Bügelflasche. Aroma: Leicht malzig, grasig. Gesamt: Gelungenes Pils.
3.3 (Draught at Foersters Feine Biere, Berlin, 25 Aug 2016) Pale golden colour with lasting, white head. Malty nose with notes of bread, cereal, grass, a touch of citrus and fresh noble hops. Malty taste with bread, cereal, a touch of citrus and a dry finish with a balanced grassy bitterness. Tasty and well balanced pilsener. Quite nice.
3.7 Bottle, courtesy of Hermann. Light yellow golden colour, nice big white head. Light crisp malt. Nice, quite dry, good hop character (bottle was claiming Perle and Tettnang) with a distinctly prickly herbal note. Lingering bitter finish. Restrained and yet characterful - moreish.
2.8 Fiege ist Miege. Not the most best tasting beer but still better than Astra. Relatively refreshing and good with a currywurst but there is better out there.
3.7 Bottle @ Hopfen & Malz, Berlin. Pours clear yellow with a creamy white head. Lovely fresh straw, grass and bread. Dry, quenching bitter finish. Very good! BB 06/16.
3.7 Bottle courtesy of MoritzF, many thanks! Clear and deep golden color with creamy and fine-bubbled white head that dissolves into a thin white layer. Aroma is earthy-herbal hops and light biscuity malts. Taste is the same, but with a hint of an underlying sweetness. Carbonation is average, but still, the beer feels quite crisp. Bitter finish with a hint of metal, but it fits. Best German Pils I’ve ever had.
3.6 Flasche gekauft bei Hopfen & Malz in Berlin. Gelb, klar mit sehr schönem langanhaltenden Schaum. Klarer Hopfengeruch. Geschmack: Hopfen, bitter, würzig, etwas Süße
