Mort Subite Kriek

Mort Subite Kriek

Bottle: Unfiltered
The Kriek Mort Subite is brewed according to the ancestral lambic recipe. This original Belgian beer ferments spontaneously. Enriched with cherries, it matures soft and slowly in oaken casks. To be served cool.

2.7 Trop sucré
3.1 Pours a clear red with minimal head and light carbonation. Aroma is, well, overwhelmingly cherries with a touch of lime. The taste is very sweet with a sour finish. Like an old school alcopop if anyone remembers them - fizzy squash that hides the taste of alcohol. Nice to try something different but would struggle to drink more than one.
3.2 Aroma; syrup, cherries, marzipan and butane, oak, vanilla, malts, berries. Look; pink head on near clear burgundy body. Taste; syrup, cherries, marzipan and butane, oak, vanilla, malts, berries, and finishes sweet n fruity. Feel; allright body n soft co². Overall; it`s smooth. 3.4 Very very very cherry flavour and aroma. Very very sweet as well. Nice one..
3.8 Nice earthy, bitter lambic background taste, but too sweet is dominating too much, both in the nose and taste.
4.4 Lekker rouge fruitige smaak
4.8 On tap in Bruges, Belgium. Hazy red with a pink head. Aroma is cherry and oak barrel. Fine cherry and sour flavours combine with just a hint of mugginess resulting from the fermentation. That's some good, real Kriek
1.0 Opalescente, schiuma consistente rosata, fa merletti, bollicine vivaci. Forte sapore ciliegia, poi sciroppo, vira a caramella. In bocca dolce astringente, leggermente Metallica. Corpo leggero, retrogusto acido e retro olfatto ciliegia
3.1 Sterke kersensmaak.
3.5 330ml bottle at home Munich. Aroma is cherry, slightly artificial. Appearance is light to medium cloudy dark red with a small red-ish foam. Taste is light to medium sour, light sweet and a very subtle bitterness. Fizzy, medium body. Nice appetizer.
3.1 Draught. Pours brilliant ruby with a large, tight-bubbled pink head, long retention with good lacing. Moderate sweet tart cherries, light bread malt, light lactic sourness, and a dry finish. Light body and medium carbonation.
3.3 250 ml bottle. Ruby red with foamy lacy pink head. The aroma is cherry, light citric acid. Taste sweet and sour cherry fruit aromas, light rhubarb.
3.9 Ruby red with foamy lacy pinkish white head Aroma is cherry tart Flava is sweet cherry feels light Tarty fruity cherry-waxy Feels medium Finishes dry mildly bitter
4.0 Having one at a restaurant on the dyke of De Haan/Belgium. Red and hazy with a thin pink head. Smell of cherries, no surprise. Extremely drinkable. Sweet, fruity and malty. I like.
3.5 Tasty cleansing Trappist ale. Light carbonation.
3.4 Pinky color. The most durable lambic beer foam I have ever seen. Fruity, cherry aroma. Mildly sweet, sour and bitter at the same time. Perfectly made.
3.7 Very nice easy drinking cherry lambic. Sweet and nicely carbonated. Strong cherry. Had a bottle in the Netherlands.
3.3 250ml bottle from Perla, drunk overlooking the Sea Garden in Burgas on a perfect August evening. Pours hazy ruby with a short-lived fluffy and mousse-like beige head, loads of lacing but no visible rising carbonation. On the nose, sour cherry, a touch of raspberry. In the mouth, frothy texture, sweet and sour, flavours of candied cherry, raspberry and cereal with dry sourness rising towards the short, crisp finish. A good lambic for beginners, and not bad for everyone else.
2.3 Bottle, pours a thin and clear red color with pinkish white head. Nose and flavor are cough drops, cherry candy, yeast, sweet malt, and misc funk. Way too sweet for us. Couldn't finish my pour
2.0 I love this as a soft drink, but it is not really a beer. Very sweet, very predominant cherry flavor, tastes like a lollipop, with an anecdotic malt background.
2.8 Reddish-pink color. golden color with good foam. Nose. Notes of cherry, yeast, malt. Taste. Moderate sweetness, sour cherries somewhere far from malt.
2.9 Aroma: cherry medicine Appearance: red, small head, sudsy lacing Flavour: Cherry lollies Palate: long lingering finish
