3.8 Pours very clear amber, foamy head, great retention and lacing. Even in a plastic cup! Aroma is slightly funky, floral, notes of cooked apple and undefined fruitiness. Tastes tart with peaks of sour, funky, fruity, apple. Nothing related to hops. Well balanced. Quite crsp, but enjoyable when it warms up as well, well carbonated, astringent. Overall a pretty decent, great value Gueuze.

4.3 Amber, slightly hazy with an off-white head that dilapidates quickly. Mild muggy aroma. Sour taste, but not too much, leaving it to be one of the rather mild examples. Very drinkable.

4.1 Best before 2028. Pours honey gold with thin layer of head. Funky, wood, apple cider vinegar aroma. Tart, citrus flavor, mild fruity character and at times watery. Wood barrel, tart lemony finish. Sometimes like a dry white wine. Really nice geuzue which I think might be more accessible to someone who isn't familiar with blended lambics due to it's lower intensity. I like it.

3.5 Copenhagen 29/1 2019. 37,5 cl bottle from Ølhandleren in Give (webshop). Drawing of what I suppose is the brewery, some barrels and happy guy with a horn on a Horse. They even manage to brag about a "Best Sour Beer Award" from 2014. Pours hazy, golden yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as small chunks of foam clinging to the side of the glass. Moderate lacing. Aroma is sharp and citric. Vinegar, citrus, green apples with very light funky hints. Acidic. Light but prickly carbonation. Soft yet tingling texture. Flavor is medium sweet followed by a strong sourness. Aftertaste is siur citric and linger for a bit. Finish is dry. Solid Lambic. Crisp, sour and dry. With only a moderate hint of funk. Fair enough they got a award for this sour fellow.

4.1 Moc pekne gueuze - pomer cena vykon. Kupuji velmi casto jako nahradu za nedostatkove zbozi z Cantilonu. Doporucuji toto nevsedni pivo alespon ochutnat. Tony citrusovych plodu, kiwi, chmelu.. az lehke octovinky.

3.4 Colore oro scarico con schiuma bianca abbastanza persistente e corposa. Al naso un buon profumo da limone e frutta acerba, lievemente vinosa. All'assaggio si presenta fresca, torna l'acerbo del limone e della mela, col passare del tempo si presenta anche una una nota più dolce, mentre l'acidità è leggera. Tutto sommato una Gueuze più che discreta.

3.9 Bottle at dinner in Brussels. Pours hazy golden, nice white head. Sour nose, apples and cherries, bit of caramel. Flavour is big sour, quite fruity, medium bitterness and a good cidery sweetness. Bit of a thin finish, sparkling but thin. Light sour apple finish.

3.8 Bouteille avec un BB de juin 2016. Robe dorée-ambrée légèrement trouble avec un épais col de mousse blanc et rocailleux. Arômes de levures belges, citron, bois vert et épicé, pêche encore dure. En bouche, lambic plutôt épicé, citron frais coupé, chlorophylle, pomme verte, pêche. Saveurs bien équilibrées au niveau de l'acidité et du boisé. Texture vineuse et corps mince.

4.0 Bottle, 37,5cl. From a gift. Pours straw colored with a bubbly white head, fades. Nose of lemon tarts and some barnyard funk. Nice acidity, not astringent. Nice lactic acid aroma's. Good geuze.

3.5 Bottle. Pours clear amber with a white head. Aroma of vinegar, lemon, slight funk, grapefruit and green apples. Taste is tart and pretty clean. Not much funk in there. Some lemon notes, green apples and slight grains.

3.5 botle sampled with friends. short lastning off white head. fine complex fruity aroma with clear Stanley aromas. light lactic acidic taste and fruity taste. smooth and balanced taste.

3.6 Restrained tart aroma in a golden pour. Similarly laid back tart taste with a hint of apple juice in the body and a Dryish finish. An excellent example of the style.

3.6 Pours cloudy golden with low white head. Aroma of ripe apples, green grapes, light grass, citrus and minerals. Taste is initial rich tart, apples and grapes are most prominent, a mild sweetness kicks in towards the finish. Light and crisp body with soft carbonation.

2.9 October 2017 - 375ml cork and cage bottle at home in Richmond, post-job interview. As 'Mort Subite Oude Gueuze Lambic', 2013 vintage bottled in Sep 2015, 7%. Opens with a big pop. Dark translucent orange, lightly sparkling, initial head dies to nothing pretty quickly. Aroma is apple juice, some old chewed up bubblegum, some unexpected banana split. Body is light with tingly carbonation. Taste is simple syrup, demerara, some more banana, little sherry oxidation perhaps, some light lemon tartness. Quite a watery flavour. Not very gueuzey. Oh well. (5-3-5-4-12=2.9)

4.5 bottle @ home clear copper, minimal cream head Mellow soft aroma, caramel, basement, oak barrel, barrel aged white wine. Citric, winey, wood, astringent sweet finish.

4.2 Uma oude gueuze para iniciantes é bem complexa : primeira sensação do aroma bem peculiar, extravagante, depois o sabor azedo predominamente inclusive no retrogosto com um pouco de amargo. No copo apresentação linda., creme persistente, excelente!

3.5 Skvělý gueuze, který je doopravdy, podobně jako většina gueuze podobná šampaňskému. Skvělá kyselá chuť, osvěžující říz a hořčejší dozvuk.

3.9 Aroma: Sour fragrance, fruits, savages Appearance: Golden, a little bit mktny with a small quick-flowing white foam. Taste: Acid turning into a little sweetness, fruits, Palate: Light body, medium carbonation.

3.9 had to try it while at their great bar. Head dissipated fairly quickly. Resin, herbs, on nose. Sour, but not too , a little cheesey, doughy. Great experience, not my favorite style.
