3.0LIght red, bubbly with medium pink creamy head. Arome not so strong cherry as traditional Mort Subite Kriek has, taste aslo is less chery and much more sweet. Even bit too sweet maybe. Meanwhile some lembic notes are still presented on the backgraound.
2.6Bottle - Pours a clear pink with a fizzy head. Strong, sweet cherry aroma, reminds of those red #2 cherries back in the day. Tastes like a carbonated cherry cola. It can be refreshing on warm day, but just too sweet for me.
2.7Bottle from Beergusto.com. Clear ruby color with medium light pinkish head. Strong cherry aroma with cherry stones. Sweet cherry taste with stones, vanilla. Very fruity, sweet beer. I was expecting bit more from this.
2.1Bottle from Bier Tempel in Brussel. Clear red pour with rocky pink head. Aroma is very sweet cherry, some cough syrup notes, almost winey, wine gums.Taste is sweet, fruity, barely any tartness, mega sweet. Palate is light bodied, thin carbonation, syrupy. No.
2.825 cl. bottle. Pink colour with a pink head. Aroma and flavour of sugar, cherris, marzipan and sourness.
2.6250ml bottle poured in a chalice.
A: The red color and the rose head gives a nice aspect to it. Reasonable retention and many lacings left around.
S: Sweet and syrupy in the nose. Strong notes of cherry. Like a candy.
T: Tastes like cherry juice. Sweet and syrupy. Light tartiness hidden by the sweetness.
M: Very light body and medium and fizzy carbonation. Cheery juice aftertaste.
O: Low drinkability. Too sweet and syrupy.

2.8BOTTLE 25 CL.
Look: clear ruby/cherry colored, big pale rose creamy head with good retention.
Aroma sweet cherry syrup, a touch of funk / green fruit seeds.
Taste: very sweet, cherry sweetness, balance by rather strong acidity, no much lambic character.
1.9Also tasted under its original name Louwaege’s Kriek; apparently the name Louwaege has lost its effect now that this brewery has ceased to exist for many years, so the Heineken managers decided to use the name of Alken-Maes’ lambic brewery for it. The content hasn’t changed much: a syrupy, sickly sweet, one-dimensional and sugary, artificial, lemonade-like, light ’summer kriek’ only suitable for people who don’t like real beer, or real fruit. Lambic is hardly noticeable in this type of products - if not totally unnoticeable.
3.5Een beter kriekenbier dan de gewone kriek van hen vind ik. Iets zoeter, zoals ik het lekker vind
3.0Bottle 0,25 ltr: Clear red colored brew with an mostly sweet taste with an very faint some sour hints.
1.8Red/pink colour, some pink foam. Very sweet aroma of sweet cherries, candy and artifical sweeteners. Light sourness but the sugar overwhelms every other taste.
3.5Bottle at home. Light fizzy pink, huge sweet cherry nose, fizzy, tart cherry, light almond.
2.4Deep red color with barely pinky foam that dissipates very quickly. Light body with balanced carbonation. Intense aroma, very sweet, which, of course, cherry traces. The taste is intense and very sweet, with also cherry notes.
1.9Bottle (250 ml). Almost clear reddish purple with a medium pink head and some lacing. Aroma is indeed Xtremely artificial cherries, gummies and not much else. Taste is also of artificial cherries, heavy sweetness along an unpleasant rotten fruits and metallic aftertaste. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Very similar to all these poor sweetened versions of kriek. It could be easily drinkable like a carbonated cherry juice if it was not of the horrid aftertaste.
3.1Cherry aroma. Hazy, red color, pink head, good lace. Sweet, cherry, candy, sugar, thin.
2.4Drunk at white star Woluwe. Overly sweet kriek with lingering aftertaste. Not a patch on the non commercial versions.
3.0standard commercial fruit lambic... the taste of sour cherry... aftertaste is sweet and sour and, a little bit, dry... good beer for masses...
2.0Sweet fruit beer, brewed for the masses. Only drinkable on a hot day, if the beer is very cold.
0.5250 ml bottle
Red coloured, not a beer, just a syrup of fake fruits and colours, go away
3.2Botella de 25 cl, adquirida en Cerveceria Internacional. Color rojizo. Sabor a cereza, ligeramente agrio.
3.9250 ml bottle. Color are like cherry juice with smooth rose foam. taste are like natural cherry juice with a bit of beer. strong taste of real cherry. aftertaste are like sweet cherry not over carboned not to sweet.
3.9Bottle bier huis ossett. Cherry colour decent red white head and lacing. Aroma is strong cherry drop sweets black cherry yoghurt. Taste is same as aroma with the typical lambic sour finish. Medium body soft carbonation. I love cherries and I loved this!
3.4From a 25cl. bottle. First time I taste beer from this brewery
Nice fruity sweet kriek.
2.825 cl. bottle @ home, bought somewhere in Belgium. Ruby with a light pink head. Cherry icecream aroma and taste with a hint of lambic sourness. Decent kriek.
3.3bottle
pours clear, dark red, small white head
smell is pretty sweet, cherry
taste is cherry, sugary backbone . good carbo . cherrys are intence indeed . yet there’s a lot of that damn sugar .. why o why do these commercial breweries keep sponsoring sugarfactorys ? :(
4.9One of the best Lambics I’ve ever drank. It has a freshy palate that you can combine it with some kind of seafood. I think it would be really great if you have it with food. When I tasted it, was the beer alone.
3.4Mooi rood met lichte witte kraag, aroma van krieken Smaken ietwat zuur, niet te. Redelijk zoet en lekker fruitig. Prima kriekje
3.2Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is ruby. Aroma and taste are rich cherries, sugar, sweet malt and hops.
2.5Can. Clear dark red color with a frothy head. Aroma of sweet cherry. Sweet taste, too sweet for me. Medium thin body.
2.9Bottle shared with McTapps. Nice one for sure. But after having a few other in my life so far this Kriek was just average. Maybe just too sweet for me and artificial in a way. Definitely a classy one but in no way outstanding.
