3.5 From tap with HDI at Cardinal 13.04.16. Hazy orange. White head. Aroma of Sevilla marmalade, dried fruits and sweet alkohol in aroma and taste. And resin. Heavy mouthfeel. Most like an American barley wine.
3.7 On tap at Cardinal. Pours almost clear golden with a small creamy white head. Aroma is more like a barley wine, good malty marmelade, fruity and hoppy interesting aroma. Taste is moderate dry fruity, clean mouthfeel, very good.
3.8 Shared bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours hazy amber with off-white head. Aroma of pine needles, ethanol, caramel, dark fruits. Taste is sweet, but well balanced by hop bitterness. Bitter finish, but not as bitter as one would expect.
3.6 On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Hazy orange colour, low white head. Strong hoppy aroma, notes of oranges, grapefruit and pine. The flavour has some malty sweetness, but not more than needed to balance the intense hoppy character, with notes of oranges, grapefruit and resin. Bitter finish, of course. Warming mouthfeel.
3.5 Draft at the brewery, served in a flight. Pours a clear orange gold with a small white head that settles into a faint ring. Notes of lemon peel, orange, honey, pine resin, and pale and sweet malts. Medium-bodied, with a resinous, bitter, sticky mouthfeel and low to mdoerate carbonation. Good DIPA. Or XXXXIPA, I mean.
4.2 Draft at Moylan’s. Nose is mango, papaya, floral, and a hint of pine. Clear yellow orange with a medium heavy lacing off white head. Flavor is lightly bitter, lightly sweet, tropical fruity, and a light malty backbone.
3.8 On tap at bier thirty pours out golden topped with a small head. nose is lots of leafy citrus hops and a sweetness. taste is more of the big hop notes some grapefruit pith on the end.
3.4 [2/1/16] Draught at Moylan’s Brewery in Novato. Golden. Nice citric and tropical hops aroma. Rather dry flavor with bitter fruity hops. Medium-bodied.
3.3 Draft - Sweet malty leafy citrus hops. Clear gold. Big citrus bitterness and orange. Huge bitterness is a bit over the top.
3.3 Draft at source. A pure orange hops come smoothie aroma. Very clear pale orange with a small white head. Taste is initially strong in alcohol and a sweet honey malt flavor. Hop presence is moderate in flavor but seemingly overwhelmed by the malt sweetness and alcohol warming.
3.6 Draught at Moylans. Almost clear amber liquid with small to medium white head. Aroma of citrus, tangerine, mango, caramel and light grain. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter with notes of mango, citrus and tangerine. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Pretty solid old school DIPA. Nice hop tonez.

3.9 650 ml bottle at the Hoppy Pub, Thessaloniki, courtesy of Constantin. Light hazy golden orange color with off white head. Malty and hoppy aroma, caramel, fruity, grapefruit, pine, grassy. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation. Great for 1 year old bottle!
3.0 Bottle@ trailer park tasting. Hazy amber color with ivory head. Pine, dusty, green hop, herbal aromas. Medium bodied. Green, herbal, bitter pine hop flavors with a thin malt base----drying spicy big bitter finish____too big.
4.3 Great appearance with a thick long lasting head and a lots of lace. Good fresh hope aroma. Huge hop flavor well tempered by the malts. A few off flavors though.
4.3 30-OCT-2015, bottle @Ulkløbben meeting, @Sonni. Almost clear golden with creamy lasting, lacing, yellow head. Very hoppy. Bitter. Grape fruit, pine, orange peel. Malty backbone, sweet. Nice.
3.2 Bottle shared in London - cheers to Daniel. Pours lightly hazy orange-gold with a frothy, off-white head. The nose holds pine, bread, toasted grains, ripe citrus, crackers. Medium to big sweet flavor with obvious alcohol, more crackery malts, lightly faded pine, bread, orange peel. Full bodied, oily, with fine carbonation. Warming finish with some piney bitterness, crusty toast, citrus rind, more alcohol. A somewhat heavy handed DIPA that’s perhaps not at its freshest. So so.
3.4 Bottle shared at Craft Beer Co. 10/09/2015. Many thanks to Daniel for this one. Aroma is earthydank, semi-sweet sticky resin, caramel malts and pine needles. Translucent golden with a sticky off white head. Flavour is dirty earthy pine, caramel, resinous hops and a touch of farmyard in the finish. Palate is chewy, semi-sweet, highish carbonation. Aggressive bitterness: too big for me.
3.2 Aroma of orange, mandarin, grapefruit & sweet fruits. Clear amber with long lasting white head. Taste of bitter grapefruit. Medium body, creamy texture & soft carbonation.
3.7 Tap/ botled. Slightly hazy, pale amber body with an average, lacing off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit, orange zest pine and caramel. Sweet flavor that ends up more dry and solid bitter with alcohol notes. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. A very nice DIPA. 🌟🌟🌟🌟
