3.5 0.5l can. A black beer with a thin creamy beige/brown head. Strong aroma with notes of roasted and maybe smoked malts, coffee, dark chocolate and some caramel. Strong bitter flavour with notes of coffee, roasted malts and irish cream. Dry finish.
2.0 Güzel yanık kokusu. Siyah gövde. Acılık yüksek. Asitlik çok az. Sulu yapı.
2.0 Too Blendy
3.6 Black cascading pour with a ruby hue and gorgeous soft creamy beige head with thick foamy lacing all over the glass …. Great presentation …. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate/cocoa, toasted and a little nutty …. Taste is earthy with roasted malts, bitter cocoa, deep roast with a little sweetness and a light bitter bite on the back end and into the finish … little nutty …. Finish is of roasted malts and bitter cocoa ….. mouthfeel is smooth, creamy, soft and silky ….. very sessionable and medium bodied …. Aroma is slightly better than the flavor needs to be a little sweeter
3.5 Poured from 440ml nitro can at 4.0% abv. Aroma: Milk, caramel, light coffee, milk and dark chocolate, brown bread. Appearance: Pours almost black with dense, creamy, off-white head. Taste: Lots of malt, creamy, bit of milk chocolate, mild hop. Aftertaste of moderate coffee bitterness. Mouthfeel: Very smooth, slightly oily with dense creamy nitro "carbonation". Overall: Decent session stout, fairly mild but not bland in terms of flavour. If you're into creamy draught style beers, you'll probably enjoy it.
3.2 Pours a dark brown with a churning nitro feel giving it a thick creamy head. Aroma of roasted dark malts. Creamy yet light body. Dry roasted malt flavor with a hint of chocolate and biscuit. Kind of bland and boring but drinkable. Finishes with a lingering dry roasty aftertaste. Not that enjoyable.
3.7 Aroma; scents from coffee, black chocolate sauce, vanilla, dark bread, black syrup, plum note, black flour. Look; beige dense normal head, on coffee black body. Taste; flavours from coffee, black chocolate sauce, vanilla, dark bread, black syrup, plum note, black flour, and finishes silky soft nice. Feel; smooth body and soft co². Overall; aleright classic stout. [sample from can from tesco abroad, T@ O'Tipperary, greetings to Mulligan, Flanagan, Donovan, Branigan, Sullivan, Cunningham, Gach Éireannach, and Saint Patrick.]
3.3 Aroma of milk & chocolate. Very dark brown pour. Taste is malty, roasty, semi sweet chocolate, some soy sauce flavor as it warms. Decent dry stout.
3.2 I like it better than Guinness Draught. I like Guinness Original better. The 14 oz can is a plus. It's slightly watery compared to Guinness Original, but it keeps the dark roasted bitterness which Guinness Draught abandons. That said, pretty close call.
3.5 Slightly better than Guinness. Still a little weak. But decent. Nitro can
3.0 On tap at Union Jack. Black color and a nice tan, creamy head. Malty, roasted malts, some dark coffee, some nuts. Lite body. Dry.
3.3 On tap at Allstar Jakobsberg. Black with a creamy head. Mild and creamy with toasted malt, some coffee. Fairly dry finish. Better than Guinness.
3.7 500ml Nitro can. Creamy tan head stayed on a mahogany coloured still body. Malt, nutty & demerara aroma. Medium bodied, creamy with a lighter clean finish. Malt, chocolate, berries, lactose & demerara tastes with a bitter finish. Nice
3.5 440ml can. Pours black with thick creamy head stable throughout. Toasted malts and chocolate aroma. Very smooth and thick creamy mouthfeel, no carbonation. Taste is roasted malts, chocolate and a small hint of coffee. Mild bitterness and dry finish. Very nice session stout.
3.4 Tap. Almost black with a very creamy tan head. Aroma: Roasted malt, dark chocolate, smoke and caramel. Taste: Very smooth with chocolaty malty sweetness, mild bitterness and a dry aftertaste
3.5 Deep brown / near black with a frothy tan head, and a roasted malt aroma, with hints of coffee and chocolate. Has a creamy mouthfeel, with mild carbonation and a roasted malt flavour, hints of coffee and chocolate again apparent, and a dry bitter finish
3.7 Black with an cream color head with strong lacing. Roasted malt aroma with a coffee note. Very good.
4.0 Piwo czarne, nieprzejrzyste. Piana kremowa, barwa piany również kremowa. W aromacie kawa i czekolada. Niskie wysycenie, piwo słodkie, w smaku kawa, początkowo dość intensywne w smaku.
3.9 440ml can brewed in Scotland at 4%. Neat, very stable beige head, pseudo-black toffee colour. Toasty aroma with chocolate notes. No carbonation, thick creamy slug of a mouthful from the nitro can. Sweet cream into a contrasting roasty bitter finish. More interesting texture than its main rival Guinness, but possibly less nuance in the flavours presented - definitely a richer brew though! For regular drinking I think I prefer Guinness, but for special occasions, especially St. Patrick's day, Murphy's is a darling, and really deserves to be closer in stature to its ubiquitous competitor.
3.7 0,5l vom Fass.
3.5 Tan head, black and smooth pour (in this case, out of a can). Like other Irish stouts (notably Guinness and the ilk), it has malty roasted notes, a hint of chocolate. Not sweet, at least hardly at all. Smooth finish with limited bitterness. Creamy, smokey. Relatively comparable. A nice beer any way you slice it.
2.8 black with a nitro .. grey? head. sufficient roast, body is okay, tart perception less than nitro guinness. i get this over nitro guinness and it goes down well enough.
3.0 Nice roasted aroma with soft low carbonised fam. Dark as the night. Very malty and chocolate first taste. The aftertaste dissapears very fast.
3.7 Dry roasted malt aroma and flavor. A bit more roasted malty than guiness. Has a slight feel of Smokey malty-ness. Creamy head. Seems a bit more dry than guiness as well. Not sure if I like it more or less than guiness though. Different, good, but in the same camp
3.2 Can 500ml at home. From S-market Pirkkala. Pours dark brown with thick tan head. Aroma and taste have dark malts, chocolate, coffee, caramel. Medium body, watery, creamy texture, soft carbonation, slightly roasted finish.
