2.5 Can from the National Brewery Centre, Burton. Drunk at home. Light yellow with a greenish hue. Clear with a foamy white head. Strange odour: grains, metal, some astringent notes. Not a bad taste, actually, but very sweet and otherwise inconsequential. There's a sickly saccharine to the finish which kind of spoils the whole experience. A boring lager that's not quite a drain pour but not particularly enjoyable.
2.1 Can. Thank you Zvi and Nurit! Clear light gold with a white head. Aroma of straw, oxidation. Sweetish, apple, some sugar and vibegar. Light body, highly carbonated, sweetish finish.
2.2 Can shared at John’s back tasting massive thanks to deanso. Clear pale golden with white head. Cardboard, sweet grains, light honey, soft weeds and hops. Medium sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied.
2.2 The Hague visits Zaandam. Shared with friends. Pours a clear pale golden, white head. Bready, cardboard.
2.5 Can at Kermis’s, massive thanks to deanso! Clear golden with white head. Sweet malts, green beans, wet hay and cardboard. Moderate sweet and bitter. Under medium body and soft carbonation.
2.0 Prototypical international lager. Nothing exceptional. Pretty much the same beer that you can get from just about every country in the world.
1.0 Average white head on top of a golden body. This beer is damn near odorless. It smells lightly of bread, That makes me nervous about drinking it. It tastes both bland and metallic. There's an aftertaste that's not pleasant; like it's cheaply made cuz it is. Won't be purchasing it again.
1.3 this was low quality Beer, it had rice As an ingredient so you can't feel nice malty Taste. It was light bodied, but it's Asia, we can't blame them for a Beer. they could blame us for not having Fried crickets... :)
5.0 640ml bottle from wishbeer bangkok. pours golden with little head. light malty aroma with light malty watery taste.
2.0 Bottle 0,33ltr: Clear golden colored brew with an acceptable taste for its kind of country, Myanmar country tick
2.0 Bottle from Buckeyeboy, thanks for the Burma tick. Golden yellow pour, smells a little skunky. Tastes sweet and lager malt... really pretty okay.
1.6 bottle from Jeremy. Very pale golden, instant foamy head, then fades fast. Aroma is wet paper, grains. Taste is sweet, minor citrus. Kind of bland, but not horrible.
1.9 Bottle pours out a pale straw topped with a white head. Nose is grass and I don’t mean like the one you mow along with corn. Taste is more of the nasty skunk funk this is as expected. But hey country ticks.
1.9 Bottle. Pure light golden color, white. Aroma: fruit, malt, corn, sweet corn sticks. Taste: sweet corn, rice, a little cardboard and candy, a little hops, light spice.
2.2 On tap in Yangon, Myanmar. Pours a straw gold with minimal white head. Aroma: Malt, grain, caramel. Taste: Malts dominate. Mild pine/earthy flavour. Hint of lemon. Watery texture. Bitter. Moderate to high carbonation. Not a particularly tasty or pleasant lager.
3.6 A surprisingly refreshing clean tasting beer from Myanmar. Very smooth and drinkable with a sweet taste and wet mouthfeel
1.3 Can shared by Travlr. Pours clear pale gold with a small, frothy white head, short retention with spare lacing. Aroma is corny adjunct Pils malt and faint earthy hops. Flavor is sweet corn and grainy Pils malt, light earthy hops and bitterness with a dry finish. Light body and medium carbonation.
2.1 Clear golden, white head. Aroma has malt, some cornflakes. Similar flavour. Carb is rather refreshing. Not a sweet as expected. Finishes watery.
1.8 Tasted 27/12/2016. Draught at Lion World Restaurant, Pansodan St, Yangon; 750K/330ml glass. Poured a crystal clear golden amber with a 5mm bright white foamy head that diminished quickly and laced OK. Carbonation nil. Aroma of grain/rice and slightly sweet pale malt with no obvious hops. Taste of slightly sweet malt with no real bitterness. Light body. Crisp and refreshing if cold; with a bland to slightly sweet finish. Great for the Myanmar climate.
2.0 bottiglia 640 ml e spina, bevuta a litri nel mio viaggio in Birmania. Classica lager, va giù bene.
2.6 bottle@home. Thanks to Edwin who bought it for me. There is not much to say about this beer only that when it is hot and you are thirsty it OK.
2.8 Usual Asian commercial lager, but still an independent brewery. Better than others in the area. Golden, stinky of rancid lager hops, malty with a hint lemon taste. Perfect with the local weather of Yangon
1.9 330ml can from Myawaddy, Myanmar. Pours a mid golden colour with a small whitish head. Aroma of rice and grain. Taste of rice and malted barley. Watery and indistinct. A less than average lager.
2.2 Can courtesy of Erzengel, thanks Gabriel! Crystal clear golden color, thick white head with good retention and solid lacing. Not much aroma, maybe some dusty cereal and light lemon. Taste is hardly there either, light peppery hops. No off flavors. Inoffensive. And I would image very easy to drink on a hot and humid day.
1.4 [backlog] 06-12-14 // bottle in Kandawgyi Park, Yangon, Myanmar. Drinking while waiting for a concert. Boring lager, light sweet, watery, some grains.
1.6 Many thanks for this can to kevnic2008. Puszka i do tego z egzotycznego dalekiego kraju. Kolejny dla mnie kraj nr. 111 to cieszy, ale smak i jakosc rozczarowuje. Co mnie nie specjalnie zdziwilo bo w wiekszosci tak jest. Mala piana mizernej jakosci, jasne zlociste, aromat prawie zaden, W smaku syrop z kukurydzy z puszki, wodnisty i nieco metaliczny. Realy verry bad beer.
2.6 Can. Golden yellow with large whitish foamy head, malt aroma, high carbonation, very little bitterness, abrupt finish. Generic lager, not too bad.
2.5 640ml bottle at home, shared with a friend who’s wife brought it back from a cycling holiday to Burma/Myanmar. Mid golden body, weak white head: typical lager look really. Corn, grainy aroma and taste: nothing bad, nothing good, just a bog standard semi-sweet Lager/Pilsner.
1.4 Bottle. Pale golden, small to average and full diminishing head. Light, malty – lightly grainy and lightly sweetish aroma, light cardboard and metal, faint vegetable hoppyness. Body is light, malty – lightly grainy and lightly sweetish flavor, lighc corn. Finish is short, malty – lightly grainy and lightly sweetish, light corn and metal and faint vegetable hoppyness. Light-bodied lager – that’s it. Tastes really cheap.
