3.4 Halvljus och grumlig. Frisk, fruktig och rätt beska på denna IPA. Lite trött humleton sänker betyget.
3.1 355ml bottle from Systembolaget. Hazy orange/golden small white head, some lacing. Caramel, malty aroma. Mild carbonated, medium bodied. Malty taste, toffee and caramel, some bitter citrus zest in the finish.
3.2 Bottle split with Hatzer, J-Bar Sip and Tick Festival, Nacka, Stockholm, 31/10/15. Nice label. And ridiculously cheap courtesy of the Swedish government. Burnished honey with a well retained collar. Leafy peach iced tea aroma with honey and juicy satsuma. US honey and lemon throat sweet bitterness IPA taste. Some lurking menthol. Good. But pretty bog standard stuff.
3.7 Konstigt nog känns den lite tunn. I övrigt en ganska klassisk ipa i Cali style. Inte så mycket mer att tillägga.
3.1 Lovely bottle picture of factory, smells of whisky slightly cloudy in appearance tastes a bit bland dissapointing sip and tip tackle
3.2 ARoma of slightly perfumy hops with citrus and deep malt. Taste is really heavy malts, sweet caramels and some nutty persona in the back. A little too much on the aromatic hops and malty character.
3.1 Very cloudy orange with thin head. Aroma is barley malts and apricots. Taste adds hops. Smooth and quaffable.
3.7 Bottle. Pours a hazy orange with a creamy medium head. Light fruity aroma with hints of citrus and mild pine / resin. Taste is well balanced with a grassy bitterness. Quite nice actually! Moderate lasting bitterness. Medium bodied and creamy texture. Avg co2 levels.
3.8 355ml brown bottle poured into a Tulip glass. Appearance is cloudy dark orange with a medium sized frothy beige head, that reduced quickly leaving a little lacing on the glass. Aroma of orange peels, mango and a hint of pine. Flavours of orange peels, mango, grapefruit, resin and caramel. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Palate is medium bodied, smooth texture and average carbonation. Napa Smith Organic IPA is quite full-bodied for the style, notable bitterness backed by robust maltiness.
2.2 An IPA on the average. Nice but light aroma, quite bitter in taste. A good choice if you dont want to be amazed but just have a beer.
4.9 Tap Folsom. Aroma is awesome, super dank. Flavor is similar, great bitterness with the dank flavor. Sticky finish, epic!
3.6 Bought from room temp shelf, questionable date. color is a dark orange, amber. Aroma is a malty caramel, low to no hops, possibly fruit, bready yeast. Possibly b vitamins/ old hops. Taste is malty with caramel, toffee, light hops generic/fruit. A malty ipa, dated, but not a bad ipa, tastey and I enjoyed it still. Average to maybe above average. Would love to try this fresh though.
3.4 355 ml bottle. Slightly hazy amber colour, off-white head. Sweetish fruity aroma with lemony notes. The flavour is caramel-malty, with sweetish citrus notes and a bitter finish. Pretty good.
3.4 Piney-citrus nose with a bit more malt than most pale ales. Sweetish, slightly cloying, with a bitter overlay, but no real noble hop flavor. Finish is bitter, but not harsh. Pleasant pale ale, but doesn’t grab me.
2.0 Butterlike aroma. Unclear, golden body, white head. Very metallic aftertaste. Bottle, Landverk.
2.3 Bottle. Slightly unclear, deep orange body. Dried fruit aroma. A tad fruity, but mostly soap. Don’t like soap in beer. (Landverk, 05.04.2015)
2.9 SB Hultsfred, flaska. Frisk men ändock unken arom. Grumlig utan skum.
3.5 Nice and interesting. Not so bitter. Quite refreshing although still a little watery. Nice to enjoy with food.
2.0 12oz bottle poured to sniffer.A weak ipa overall. Very malty taste with more hop flavor and aroma to be desired. Aroma is lacking the hops citrus/pine you’d expect and you can smell the alcohol on the initial first whiff. Decent beer in general but doesn’t live up to the style of beer it’s representing
3.3 Cloudy amber to orange color, creamy tan head. Peach nose, overripe fruit, plum, malty, hint of caramel. Sweet fruity taste, grapefruit, caramel, hint of alcohol, bitter finish. Medium body, soft carbonation.
3.8 355ml bottle. Small white head. Hazy dark peach color. Aroma is nettles, flowers, hops, silo. Taste is bitter with fruits, berries, nettles, green leaves
3.2 Bottle from the Systembolaget Hansacompagniet, Malmo. Poured a clear medium amber with a broken frothy white head. The aroma is yeast, light bitter hop. The flavour is strong bitter with a big woody yeast hop, peppermint bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with lively carbonation.
3.8 Had on tap in pint glass. Reminds me of six point’s Resin, but not quite as solid. Nice malt flavor, but not so much as to overpower the hops. Nice, but not incredible.
3.4 Hazy dark amber body, off white head with apricot tart cream tones. Storeywork of lacings all the way down. Aroma; caramel, toffee fudges, sugarbreads. Taste; strong sugarbreads with resin, roasted toffee juice mixture, brown caramels blended together. Good body, dry fields, suitable carbonation. Tasty ipa-juice fading nice during finish. [35.5cl brown bottle, 7%abv, BB1.2015, B@Systembolaget, T@höme]
3.4 On tap/12 boz bottle - A prett nice IPA that’s better on tap than out of the bottle IMO. Similar in some ways to SNPA with the hop profile. Malty aroma with a fruity/piney hop profile. Clearly malt forward though in the aroma. Flavor is more balanced, with a good malt profile. Soft hop echo on the palate with a slightly spicy/acidic finish. I wonder what other hops they use beside Cascasde. Another good buy from Cost Plus.
1.7 some decent scores on here, but this was a sorry-ass excuse for an ipa, especially a california ipa! murky orange-amber. most likely old, but it was newish on the shelf hear AND NOT FRIGGIN BOTTLE DATED! i put the blame there on the brewer, and this beer sucked. way malt heavy with lots of cardboard in the aroma. while the aroma seemed old the taste was just downright bad. didnt finish. little to say positive. one of the worst ipas ive had."
3.9 Wow, what an IPA! Not perfect, but very, very nice. Flavorful with a wonderful aroma as well
