3.4 W nosie średnio intensywnie, żywica, nuty palone i rozpuszczalnik. Barwa czarna, nieprzejrzyste, wysoka piana o średnich i drobnych ziarnach. W smaku gorzka czekolada, żywica, ciemne owoce w czekoladzie, finisz minimalnie alkoholowy. Goryczka średnia w kierunku wysokiej, żywiczno-alkoholowa. Na razie średnio, ale trzeba spróbować za jakiś czas świeżej warki. Butelka do 10/2017

4.2 Draft @ Valentin - Curious Bierkneipe, Volos Greece A bit different black IPA but very nice. You get a lot of fruity hoppy bitterness with the roasty caramel taste. Aroma gives already a hint for that. Medium to heavy body full of flavor. Drink it when you find it

3.8 Pours black with a light brown rocky head, aromas of roasted malts, herbs and fruit, tropical and citrus, medium body with flavours starting sweet, caramel and fruits then finishing bitter, very enjoyable.

3.7 Tap at the Jeffrey with lunch. Dark pour. Nose is fruity and some caramel. Tastes of pine, caramel, hint of chocolate. Some fruit salad. Medium bitterness. Prettt tasty.

3.8 Dark brown to black. Chocolate and fruit nose, pine, citrus, grapefruit, peaches. The way I like it. Not roasty, no coffee, nice chocolate and some caramel and great hops.

3.9 Hebanowy kolor z pomarańczowym prześwitem. Piana gęsta, zdobiąca szkło. Zapach mocno chmielowy: las, żywica, zioła, lekka kakaowa nuta w tle. W smaku zioła, gorzki grejpfrut, lekka nuta słodkiej mandarynki, w odległym tle lukrecja. Główna gorycz na początku, ta pozostająca na końcu bardzo subtelna, ziołowa. Dość proste, ale dobrze zbalansowane, kompletne. Pełne, nisko nasycone.

4.1 Bottle 33 cl. Noire à mousse beige abondante laissant de belles dentelles sur le verre. Le nez est herbacé, résineux, herbal même, floral (superbe), mais aussi sur le licorice et sur les fruits (litchi, citron vert, mangue peut-être car je ne mange pas de fruits exotiques). Bouche à l’avenant du nez : fraicheur du végétal, saveurs des fruits (raisin, citron) et amertume des houblons. Aucune agressivité : de la douceur, de la fraîcheur, du végétal. Bien bon !

4.3 IPA, cette Back to Black de la brasserie Naparbier l’est assurément sur des arômes de fruits exotiques, de mangue, de litchi et de résineux. Black par la couleur, elle l’est aussi. Mais on n’y ne retrouve que très peu le malt torréfié. Le goût est donc plus proche d’une IPA qu’une Black IPA. Elle est néanmoins agréable, bien structurée avec cependant une amertume un peu trop agressive sur le final. Très belle tenue en verre avec un noir profond et une effervescence marquée conférant une belle mousse beige de cinq centimètres d’épaisseur. Le nez, sur les fruits de la passion, le litchi et relevé par des notes de résineux est très appréciable, rond, fruité et d’une bonne intensité. A la dégustation, l’attaque est sur un bon équilibre malt/houblon. On y retrouve les fruits exotiques agrémentés de miel et de caramel. La deuxième bouche voit l’amertume monter en intensité sur des arômes de mangue et de litchi. L’arrière bouche est quant à elle sur une amertume un peu plus tranchante présentant des arômes de résineux et quelques menues notes de café (trop menues....). La troisième bouche est quasi linéaire avant une final d’une bonne longueur, sur le résineux avec une amertume franche, légèrement agressive. Il faut dire qu’avec Columbus, Cascade, Pacific Gem et Chinook, Naparbier a mis les dragées hautes en acide alpha! A noter également l’utilisation d’Amarillo et de Nelson Sauvin. La structure est quant à elle plutôt bien maîtrisée, corpulence moyenne avec un sucre bien dosé et un alcool (qui ne se ressent pas malgré 8,5 % Abv) soutenant bien les arômes. Dommage au final que cette Back in Black n’assume pas plus largement sa condition de Black IPA.

3.6 Deep brown, almost black pour, with a thin tan head. Caramel, toasted nuts, resin on the nose. Taste is sweetish, dark fruit, burnt caramel, good citrus kick with bitter finish

3.5 Bottle 33cl, a dark beer with off white head. Nose is on hop resin and roasted caramel. Taste is very sweet with medium to high bitterness. Aroma is on hop resin, exotic fruits, toasted caramel, pine, good balance between hops bitterness / fruitiness and roasted malt notes. Body is oily, sweet and bitter finish, candied fruits notes too;

4.1 Draft 0.25l at The WateringHole Amsterdam, The Netherlands. 06.04.2017. Pour it dark color with medium brown head. Aroma tangerine and candy lollipop. Taste awesome tangerine juice, roasted malty feel but just a pinch, lots of tropical fruits and spices, medium sweetness, medium bitterness, medium body, slick feel, lively, long finish. Really good mix of hops.

4.5 33cl-fles van bij Bierhalle Deconinck te Vichte. U: Bijna zwart met een lichtbruine schuimkraag. G: Citrus, drop en geroosterd. Zo moet een Black IPA ruiken! S: Moutzoet met een citrusbitterheid. Drop, chocolade en geroosterde toetsen. M: Volmondig met medium carbonatie.

3.7 Ciemnobrązowe z niezłą pianą. Aromat cytrusy, nafta, całkiem intensywny. W smaku podobnie, w tle słody ciemne. Całkiem niezłe.

4.1 Buena black IPA, con aromas herbales más que frutales, cuerpo medio, tostadilla pero sin pasarse, algun aroma a café tiene, vamos una Black IPA pa disfrutar.

4.3 Negra opaca, espuma abundante de buena retencion, aroma a frutos rojos y maltas tostadas, en boca es muy compensada, el alcohol se nota poco y el amargor predominante no es excesivo, tambien maltas tostadas. Una muy completa cerveza.

3.9 Casi negra, opaca. Espuma beige, muy cremosa no abundante, que deja fina capa muy duradera. Excelente aroma frutal: frutas rojas, melocotón. Notas herbales. En boca malta tostada en la base, subyugada por el lúpulo. Ahora más herbal. Evoluciona hacia un amargor seco, intenso y licórico, con notas de chocolate.

3.6 Draft at Wateringhole. Dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of resinous hops, dank hops, herbal notes, fruits and caramel malt. Flavour is above moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

3.9 Sample at ACBF 2017. Clear black color, beige head with nice retention and lacing. Aroma of pine and burnt espresso. Taste is pine resin and softly roasted coffee. Delicious.

3.5 Botella en 99Cervezas. Vierte en color castaño oscuro turbio con cabeza abundante de color entre vainilla y café. Espuma de burbuja grande, persistente y de buena adherencia. Observo que una vez atemperada resulta más transparente (conservando una ligera turbidez), por lo que la turbidez inicial era por frío. Muy intensa de nariz, destaca el café y la regaliz, así como un agradable aroma de ciruela pasa que equilibra muy bien las notas anteriores. Hay algunas notas terrosas y especiadas de fondo. Complejidad media-alta y muy equilibrada. De entre los sabores básicos destacan el dulce y el amargo, ambos muy nítidos, aunque el amargo va imponiéndose conforme la cerveza evoluciona en boca. Es un amargo algo astringente de persistencia media, que parece provenir tanto del lúpulo como de la malta torrefacta. También hay un puntito ácido. De cuerpo medio en boca y textura algo picante, frizante y ligeramente astringente, como decía antes. Bastante refrescante considerando su graduación alcohólica (8,5% ABV), Que no aparece para nada ni en boca ni en nariz. Final seco sin llegar nunca a llenar la boca. Sorprende lo bien equilibrado que está el alcohol. Una cerveza muy bien hecha y agradable de beber. Con un pelín menos de astringencia y llenando la boca sería excelente.

3.6 Bottle. Opaque black beer with a large beige head. Aroma is fruity with notes of citrus, grapefruit, pine needles, oranges, coffee and licorice. Flavor is spicy with notes of citrus, caramel, mint, pine needles, oranges and coffee. Well balanced.

3.9 Sampled at ACBF 2017, Vichte. Dark brown with a tan head. Notes of roasted malts, chocolate, pine hops, citrus, light caramel. Medium body and carbonation and a very hoppy bitter-sweet finish.

3.8 Dark, toasted malts, floral hops, tropical fruits, mango, passion fruit, light filter coffee. Hazy, very dark brown, small, creamy, beige head. Light bitter. More tropical fruits, mango and passion fruit, dark, toasted, even slightly burnt malts, light burnt molasses, medium carbonation, medium bodied, fruity finish, dry and bitter. Very nice Black IPA, fruity, yet nice dark malts as well. Bottle at Colagallo, Granada.

3.9 Back in Black bardzo ładnie wygląda. Jest ciemnobrązowe (co widać przy nalewaniu), ale w szkle wygląda na niemal czarne, będąc przy tym zupełnie nieprzejrzyste, choćby pod światło. Piana tworzy się obfita, ma beżową barwę, budują ją drobne i małe oczka, jest puszysta, dosyć trwała, kiedy już opadnie to i tak na powierzchni zostaje ładny kożuszek, a także koronka na ściankach. W aromacie mocne uderzenie cytrusów, gdzieś z tła przebija się nuta jakby naftowa, charakterystyczna dla chmielu Nelson Sauvin (ponoć wykorzystano go tutaj, co okazuje się strzałem w dziesiątkę, bo dodaje rześkości). Kawa i ten słynny prażony słonecznik też się przewijają gdzieś na drugim planie. W smaku piwu jest blisko do tej charakterystyki stylu, która mówi, że Black IPA powinno smakować jak piwo jasne, a wyglądać jak ciemne. Tu bardzo wyraźne są cytrusy, wyraźna jest grejpfrutowa goryczka na finiszu, nadal jest - choć jeszcze bardziej skryta - nutka naftowa na końcu języka. Paloność, kawa, czekolada, czyli nuty typowe dla ciemnych piw są tu obecne, owszem, ale są z tyłu i stanowią uzupełnienie, pewnego rodzaju podbudowę. Wysycenie jest niskie, może ciut powyżej niskiego, bardzo dobrze tu pasuje. Black IPA to czołówka moich ulubionych stylów, a Back in Black okazuje się jednym z lepszych, po które miałem okazję sięgnąć w ostatnim czasie.

3.5 Pierwsze co uderza to brak oczekiwanej żywicy w aromacie i smaku. Jest za to popiół, rodzynki, nuta lukrecji, zioła i kawa. Jest to bardzo intrygująca mieszanka, która sprawia, że z ciekawością sięga się po kolejne łyczki.

3.9 Bottle 0.33l. Very dark red to black colored. AROMA- a bit sweet, hops, dark malts. FLAVOR- slightly sweet, moderately bitter, citrusy, hop resins, dark fruit, tangerines, strawberries, touch of coffee. Medium to fuller bodied. Really good.
