Today, Natty Boh is brewed according to the strict traditions that made it the beer of choice. Using only the finest ingredients – sparkling pure water, fine grains, choice hops and our special strain of selected yeast – every batch of Natty Boh is patiently aged resulting in a medium-bodied beer with a smooth color, a distinct hop aroma and a superior taste.

0.9 It's a cheap beer. A beer mainly drank in Maryland, especially Baltimore. Has a distinct corn after taste.
2.5 I think this was the first beer I ever tried [RIP Stucco]. Revisited again while in Philly with Andrew and PJ, sampled at a fine establishment, Dirty Franks. It’s cheap and relatively unoffensive.
1.7 Pours clean straw yellow with two fingers of frothy white head. Nose is skunky and metallic, pretty standard wet hay and straw. Grassy with a light sweetness and bready quality
2.7 Refrigerated 12 oz. aluminum can poured into a glass. Clear golden with medium white head. Aroma is pilsner malt, light body, lower carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is pilsner malt.
2.5 Easy to drink, not much more than faint malts and mild corn. Sweetish finish.
2.8 Had this at Ram’s Head in Annapolis, Maryland. Very faint grassy aroma, effervescent, with a clean, inoffensive flavor and finish. Would drink on a hot day again.
2.6 So. Going to end this visit by trying the ol natty bo I've heard so much about. Draft taproom. I gave myself a 30 cent pour. Pale golden with a white head. Not much of an aroma- grassy and little else. Flavor is actually not nearly as bad as I expected. Grassy and lightly nutty. Kinda flat but the flavor is inoffensive.
2.3 Now this is a strange day in my beer world. Only one beer I’ve never had before that shocked everyone I talked to in the York area. I heard "you’ve never had a Natty Bo", at LEAST 3 times today. I had 40 minutes to kill and asked my "friend, he’s not human" if I had time to run to Maryland to grab one, leaving Spry, to Maryland Line Inn then back to Queen Street in York for and appointment. Feeling no resistance I went and got one 24oz. can (for something so popular just a few miles down the road I gave up trying to find one here) and was 3 minutes early for my appointment. That’s how things are going for me the last six weeks! NOW let’s get down to business====Well first impression, SHOCK! I like this! It reminds me of the first sip of beer I had when I was a little sometime in the 1960’s! That was from a Rolling Rock pony bottle given to me by my aunt, a catholic nut, uh nun. If you ever meet me, this is a wild story, just ask me about it!!! Looks, smells like your awful garden variety TV beer. But the taste, I’ll keep some of this around for fun. It’s starting to look like at least 10 house warming party’s for me in next month ( I will not mix apples and oranges, lol) And one giant bash at a rental somewhere for my birthday (And to honor the catalyst of my awesome new life!!! THANK YOU!!! I’ve been told that I will meet you before next yearsout by that fore mentioned "friend" ) THOUSANDS OF DIFFERENT THINGS, 7 weeks, batting percentage: 1000% I was born the day after JFK took office..............till tomorrow, God bless and be safe! (Travlr I think I will see you soon under a big tower on83, first one there buys!)
2.5 From the bottle poured a pale golden brew with a delicate floral aroma. Weal balance with a slightly metallic flavor. Medium mouthfeel.
2.2 I thought this would be an appropriate beer for one of my last in DC. Seen it many times, never tried it. Looks like s ale lager. Tastes like a pale lager. Lightly bitter cereal. That’s about it! Not worth the wait.
2.1 From a can. Pours a very light straw color with no head. Lively carb. Corn rice green apple. High carbonation. Dry finish.
3.0 Baltimores entry into the macro lager category... Above average... Bests out Bud light... Good for cooling off at the Orioles game..,
2.0 Bottle. Maltier than most of the mass marked cheap beers. Still hits you with that corn taste up front and finishes with a quasi decent sweet malt taste. Not as terrible as I was expecting. However, it's fo-hipster-nostalgia rating is off the charts.
2.6 Brought this back from East Coast, haven’t rated, although it was one of my go to beers in my youth. Initial corny, vegetable smell gives way to a normal, although bland, taste. And then nothing, not even a finish. Decent mouth feel rescues this from a less than honorable rating. Here’s to days gone by!
2.6 Someone broke out a bottle of this fine elixir, after I didn’t care what I was drinking. Pale yellow light malt light hop light cereal, actually not all that horrible just needs more flavor.
2.0 Apparently this was the beer of choice at Baltimore Oriels baseball games before AB took over the beer concession. My sister made me get this when in Baltimore, and it would be a fine baseball park/lawn mower beer. But to sit down an analyse this is not really in order. Typical macro lager. Pale yellow color with a fizzy white head. Nose of corn and metal. Watery sweet corm and white sugar taste. Best served ice cold with something to eat.
3.7 Poured from 12 oz can at Boxcar Bar + Arcade in Raleigh First time I have ever tried Natty Boh. Flavor, appearance, and aroma are all standard for an American Style Lager. Highly enjoyable for what it is. Glad to finally add it to my list of beers tasted.
3.2 So, I’m in Hartford County Maryland house hunting for an upcoming move. Apparently this is the start of crab season around here. Last night I split a dozen "smalls" as they call them with a buddy in our hotel room. Also, paired the crabs with a bunch of craft beer we picked up at Stateline Liqours. Actually, we picked the crabs at the shack next to Stateline, they were amazeballs. The beer, well everything that was new for me was shitty. Fast forward Bavaria to this beer. The crabs were so delicious and I figure I should get more seafood. A local recommended a restaurant named Price’s on the water. Looks like a converted house. Got some Maryland Crab soup and fish tacos. Service was super slow. A teen with her first job was waiting. I figured I should get s beer to pass the time. The old people / locals are drinking Natty Boh. I figured, when in Rome. Additionally, about 15 available beers and they are all macro. So I get the can with the old school image. Bottom of can is dated July 15 16, which is best by. Can’t figure out code for the bottling date. Pour is macro pale, oh, only plastic cups here, I guess that makes it me authentic. Aroma is a little corny and macroy. But light and not offputting. Flavor is shockingly tasty. Light corn but a cleaner flavor white bread mslts, a touch of hops and a light crispness. Perfect with the soup and fish tacos. OMG, have I been hating on macros too much because this is Verte than some of the shit experiments from the craft brewers I had last night.
3.0 Better than expected light aroma of grain, light pale color, light refreshing taste of grain and nuts with a light body and a light grain finish. A very drinkable beer.
2.1 As expected. The idea of even trying to explain this beer is mildly insulting. It just is.
3.0 Natty Boh is the juice of the gods so step the shit off with all the snobbery and bullshit. The best cheap beer on the market. It’s clear as water, smells like cardboard and refreshing as fuck. You can get a 12 pack for 7.99 meaning you can crush beer on a budget. It’s for when you’re tired of swirling some double ipa or whatever in a glass and you need to chill out and just wind the fuck down. Or you could drink 12 and rage. Either or, it’s probably the best cheap beer and my beer fridge always has some natty boh in it. Always. Cheers.
2.3 Cheap beer for when you're broke as hell. It was like a freshly mown lawn. Watery too. Probably won't have it again.
2.8 Poured from the can into a pint glass at the Brick House in Willow Grove, PA. The appearance is a clear gold color with a small white head. The aroma is basic AAL, grains and some yeast. The taste is slightly fruity with malt and corn to fill the void. A really average beer.
2.0 GABF 2015. A simple light lager. clear gold color, some white head. no aroma really, crisp, some corn, not too sweet, drinkable enough, very light.
2.0 Can at The Hamilton. Yellow body with thick head. Nose of hops and skunk. Taste is also malts, spices, and metallic. Not super much to it. Okay.
2.1 12 oz can at Hasse. Clear pale golden with white head. Aroma very faint, pale malt and corn. Taste is bland yet without faults.
3.5 Lawn mower beer, but something you can enjoy also at BBQ’s and family functions. Do you have an all day drinking event? Choose this beer. Light beer aroma. Pale, golden color. Pale lager with a great flavor. Medium body, medium texture, and light carbonation. The finish is lightly bitter. Natty Boh Boh will never let you down.
2.0 Draft at an Orioles game... this tastes pretty much like what it is, a mass- produced America Pale Lager, meaning it competes with the Buds, Coors and Millers of the world (related to two of them in fact). But it does a commendable job of doing so - would definitely pick this over the other three as the flavors are fresher and less cloying. Do some yard work, pop a Natty Boh - nothing wrong with that scenario at all.
2.0 Can. Pours a pale yellow with a large white head. Aroma of corn, cereal and grains. Flavor was flat & watery with sweet corn, grains and light malts.
