3.5Bottle, a few times this March/April 2015. Light citrus pine nose, light bitter taste. Balanced, solid.
3.2One of their better beers. This is light colored and a lighter beer. Nothing amazing in general but a decent taste.
2.7An okay IPA. Citrus dominates in body and aroma. Hints of pine are apparent, particularly in the nose. Stale finish.
2.8Old rating. Not a fan. Malt and grain base. Little hop flavor. Too sweet. Not light as I'd like in a pale ale.
3.512oz bottle six pack from Food Lion. $8.99 + tax. Golden hue, hazy clarity with mostly lasting fizzy white head. Lively bubbles and good lacing. Aroma of grapefruit hop, pine and lemon. Strong grapefruit hop up front with more of a tangerine hop and sticky pine finish. Lively carbonation on the palate. I was pleasantly surprised at how good this was. I am glad I tried this one.
3.5bottled - purchased in Roanoke VA - very good hop and citrus aroma and flavor. Has a slight piney aftertaste like the description states. Just needs a bit of sweetness to balance it out.
2.8Reg beer smell, taste is normal beer, sweet and malty, low hops, a sweeter beer with slightly weird taste...
3.1From site: Medium bodied deep golden ale with distinctive bitter character and hoppy, piney-citrus finish...a true American style.
Nice creamy feel. Not too much in ur face, easy hop aftertaste.
3.4Location: Draft at Dandelion Market, 2/16/15
Aroma: The aroma is light hops, some citrus notes, a little pine, and some caramel
Appearance: This one pours a clear golden color with a decent off-white head
Flavor: The flavor is light-medium sweet and medium bitter, fairly balanced
Palate: It has a light-medium body, fairly easy drinking, clean enough, with a light dry finish
Overall Impression:
A decent enough APA that maybe leans a touch closer to the EPA style than most of its brethren. Solid enough though. Unoffensive.
3.0Just a plain simple average beer. Aroma is grain. Taste and mouthfeel is grain. Palate is good for abv actually a strong part of this brew. Overall a sweet syrup type of beer with little dry hop and little pale ale. No distinct anything pale ale.
3.3Crisp, clear golden pour with a nice head. Bid hoppy citrus aroma. Taste similar to aroma. Taste like an IPA. Good beer

2.912 oz bottle. 5.2%. (Chip’s Wine & Beer) Kill Devil Hills, NC.
Clear deep golden colour with a small white head.
Floral hops, mild sweetness and malt in the aroma. English style IPA.
The flavour is citrusy and piney hops and sweet malt. Mild.
3.5This poured a light orange color with a white head. Aroma was citrusy and light tropical hops. Flavor similar, light bitterness and some caramel.
3.1Pretty good and middle of the road pale. Drinkable and non intrusive. Enjoyable.
2.5Bottle from Food Lion. Pours clear golden with a medium sized white head that dissipates to a white film and leaves a bit of lacing. The aroma has a grassiness, a bit pils-esque. The taste has a light bitterness, a grassy hoppiness, dry finish. No bitterness and little to seperate from an average to slightly below average pale ale.
3.1Bottled. Brown orange pour. White head. Smells citrus. Bitter hops predominant not a ton of malt.
2.8Crisp Pale Ale with and exceptional clear appearance and nice hoppy finish. Having this brew at the Grandover Hotel in Greensboro, NC during the High Point University Parent Weekend!
3.0On tap at Blue Point in Duck, North Carolina. Pours a copper color with white head. Citrus, orange, grassy, hoppy aromas, ditto on the flavors. A nice balanced pale ale but not spectacular.
3.812 oz. bottle. Bubbly gold color, with a medium, frothy, beige head. Lots of lacing. Strong orange juice aroma, and some caramel, sourdough, and straw. Sweet and malty flavor, with a nice, smooth bitterness. Light to medium body, smooth, and a little grainy. This is a very nice, smooth, easy-drinking pale ale. Great hop aroma, and an amazing, well-balanced flavor.
2.7Poured from 12 oz bottle a clear orange/amber forming a soapy white head. Aroma was of floral hops and some slight citrus notes. The taste brings forward some more of the malt. Flavour overall is malty, bitter, citric, piny and a bit fruity.
2.312oz bottle pours a clear orange with loads of frothy white head. Nose smells infected. Carbonation sure says so too. Aroma of dusty couch, dried orange peel, a little cheap wine, some cardboard. Flavor is bitter, astringent, tea, malt, cardboard, dried orange peel. Astringent finish. Something’s wrong.
0.9Clear, dark yellow color. Not much head, splotchy lace. Smells bad. The smell reminds me of rotten onions and butt. This stuff has a real funk to it. The taste isn’t very good either. Malt forward, but the malt is sour. That butt presence is there, too. Someone must be washing their butt in the tanks.
3.0The faux pretense of the faux beer scene. I don’t know. There’s malt and not much else here. Comes together randomly. Malt is kind of sour without the good profile of an EPA. On tap at DC Summerfest.
3.5Sampled on tap at Natty Greene’s in Raleigh. Pours a copper color with white head. Citrus, orange, grassy, hoppy aromas. Grassy, citrus, bitter flavors. A really nice balanced pale ale.
3.12/24/14. Draft at Carolina Theatre. Solid pale ale. Light nose and thin lacing. Strong hop mouthfeel. Darker hop notes than W Coast style.
3.7awesome beer. Laura's favorite. Good flavor. Buy more. And stuff like that.
3.312oz bottle from Lowes in Hickory. Gold pour with a huge white head that eventually subsides leaving sparse stick. Aroma of floral, citrus and bread. Tastes are along the same lines with a little peppery spice in the mix. Lightly bitter. Not bad, but not particularly noteworthy either. 6.6
3.512oz bottle, green label (S). Pale color, lots of floaties. Aroma of pale cereal grains, light hops nose. Smells bready. Well balanced. Tastes of pale malts, nice citrus hops. My favorite out of the Natty Greene beers I picked up at Trader Joes. (3925)
3.2Drunk from the bottle so no visuals. Seems yellow gold from the bit I spilled. The Aroma is floral and mild citrus. This batch seems way too carbonated. Taste is quite floral with some orange citrus hop flavor and mild bitterness resultant. Bitter finish and floral notes stay with you. If the next one is less belch-inducing, this is a good-tasting, very drinkable pale ale that grows on you.
