Naziv „Lager pivo“ simbolizuje piva koja su svijetle boje, filtrirana i glatka za piće, a koja se zbog dužeg roka trajanja mogu „lagerovati“ odnosno čuvati na duži vremenski period. Nektar pivo upravo i odlikuje savršena svježina i pitkost koja se dobija spajanjem tri posebne vrste hmelja i čiste vode rijeke Vrbas, a ovo zlatno piće nastaje prema posebnom receptu koji Banjalučka pivara primjenjuje decenijama, još od 1873. godine. Pivo Banjalučke pivare sa najdužom tradicijom, Nektar je ujedno i najprodavanije pivo u Bosni i Hercegovini, sa prodajom od 45,6 miliona litara piva godišnje. Nektar pivo je dobitnik 10 zlatnih medalja prestižnog svjetskog takmičenja „Monde Selection“ u Briselu, a posebno priznanje Nektar pivu iskazali su i trgovci, te su ga 2018. smjestili u 100 „Must have“ brendova Bosne i Hercegovine. 3.1 I paid a visit to the brewery once but didn't bother to write about beer, so I bought a can recently from Vrutak, Zagreb. Clear pale golden to golden, medium white head. Expected something much worse, but this was surprisingly clean, grainy, sugary, floral touch and herbal touch. Sweet white bread flavour, light herbal hoppy note. Light body, moderate carbonation.

2.7 Złota barwa, klarowne, wysoka piana. Słodkawy aromat. W smaku słód, nieco chmielowej goryczki, pełne, brak wodnistości. Dość solidny lager, nie ma się do czego przyczepić.

2.3 Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso viene attratto dall'orzo. La finezza olfattiva è normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma resiste abbastanza. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. La frizzantezza si presenta sotto forma di bollicine medio-fini. Il colore è giallo dorato carico. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è poco incisivo. La forza gustativa è normale e permane in modo sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Al palato prevalgono indizi di miele, erbaceo e agrumi.

2.3 Can. Gold with an inch of white head. Shy aroma of hay, some herbs, hints of lemon. A little cardboard. Thin. Very sweet with no bread or even crackery underpinning. Slight herbal notes at the end are fine but there's little bitterness. Too sweet and a bit too bland for me.

2.0 Dieses Bier aus der teilautonomen Republika Srpska ist ein klassisches Balkanbier mit hoher Drikability, aber ohne wirklichen Geschmack. Man kann es leicht und schnell trinken, aber wirklich glücklich wird man davon nicht.

2.2 0,5 l can. Pale yellow colour with almost no foam. Cheap beer, cheap (too sweet) taste. Surprisingly drinkable for such low quality beer; it just has to be served ice cold.

3.9 Nice light tasting refreshing beer. I call it Bosnian Becks because the well known German lager Becks is a quite a close comparison in terms of taste.

2.4 500 ml can. Clear yellow color with small white head. Smells corn. Taste are sweet corn with some little bitterness and some hidden vegetables. Short time aftertaste sweet corn with some barley. Refreshing and simple beer.

2.1 0,5 l can. Pours golden yellow with big frothy dissipating white head. Aroma is sweet, corn like, some honey and malt. A hint of grassy hops and wet cardboard. Flavor is sweet and grainy, wet cardboard. Taste is medium sweet with almost no bitterness. Body is light, texture thin and carbonation lively. Finish is sweet and short.

2.7 Very clear light golden beer with thick white head. Compared to other pale lagers, this one actually has some taste. The usual slightly sweet corn and straw aroma, but also some hops that remind of a Pilsener. The body is also not too thin, so altogether a very easily drinkable beer if you´re looking for something not so fancy.

3.5 At first try, couple of years ago, it tasted very bad so I removed it from my list, but if it weren't for my dad I would never tasted it again. Not bad lager at all. Sweet in taste, light in color, medium carbonation, refreshing. My advice is to drink it cold

2.2 Svijetlo zuta boja, veoma prozirno, sa postojanom bijelom pjenom srednje debljine. Aroma limuna, kvasca, a pomalo se javlja i aroma meda. Lakog tijela, srednje gorčine i poprilične karbonizacije.

3.2 Best local beer in BiH. Recommended for all lager lovers. It's a bit sweeter than other beers in this range.
