2.0Nice bottle and I received also some information about this beer from the brewery, very good. Black beer with fine cappuccino head, smell is roasted malts, taste is heavy sweet, very light roasted malts, thin texture, creamy body, short finish, the sweetness is too much for me,
(I have 0.5l bottle with best-before 23.01.20)
3.7Impressively complex and flavourful for such a light beer. While the roast is not bitter, it is definitely one of the sweeter versions of the style. Dresden REWE
2.6the aroma is caramel and fruity with shades of cake, toffee, milk chocolate, brown bread and dark fruits... the taste is caramel and fruity, very sweet, with notes of milk chocolate, toffee, bisquit, raisin, prunes and brown sugar... sweet and dry aftertaste... sweet, too sweet...
3.7Aus der Flasche getrunken: Ein süffiges Schwarzbier. Sehr caramellig und süß. Erinnert geschmacklich an das Störtebeker Hanse Porter.
2.413-07-18 // taster at Bierbörse Mainz 2018. Black with a beige head. Sweet malty. Too sweet.
2.6L:
-pours a clear ruby-brown with a big,frothy,cream-colured head
-high carbonation visible
S:
-chocolate,coffee,spicy,grainy,grassy,raisins,slight plastic
T:
-Follows the nose + vast amounts of Glucose/Fructose syrup
-sickly sweet
F:
-medium carbonation
-light, watery body
O:
What would be a decent summer Schwarzbier quaffer is absolutely ruined by the addition of Glucose/fructose syrup AFTER fermentation. What remains is a sickly sweet Schwarzbier that i could barely finish.
1.5Fles 50cl thuis. Zoet. Ruikt niet lekker. Kleffig. Stroperig. (8-2013).-----.
2.8Bottle. This was among the beers we opened with back in 2005 and it was a pleasure seeing it in a store once again after all these years. Dark brown with a huge beige head, aroma of caramel and cocoa - promises of malty sweetness, which delivers in flavour. Notes of metal though in aroma. A lot of malt beverage in this one but still enough traces of hops and alcohol to make it beer-ish. I like it, but some of it is due to nostalgia.
2.650 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Trinkgut Kleve.
Clear black with a big off-white head. Mildly roasted malts and caramel in the aroma. Taste is very sweet, really too sweet. Could be a lot better if the sweetness was a bit more subdued.
3.6Very quickly torn between judging this beer badly, as it tastes almost like a malt beer. Yet after concentrating really hard and the second (and third) taste... I like it. It is almost a new direction. A mild black beer with mild but detailed roast notes and a good malty taste with fine aftertaste notes.
2.0Czarna czerwien, klarowny rubin pod swiatlo. Piana solidna. W aromacie karmel, syrop, delikatna palonosc, przypalony popcorn. W smaku slodycz slodu, karmelu, syropu, delikatne posmaki szlachetnego chmielu. Wrazenie przeslodzonej kawy zbozowej.
1.9Starts black with a nice thick (but quickly disappearing) head. Taste is initially OK but watery. Then a sweetness is overwhelming everything and only a little burnt sugar remains. Why add sugar syrup?
2.4Bottle. Foggy deep brown colour. Decent beige head. Aroma: dark malts, esters and something that reminded me of beef fat. Light body. Sweet taste. Caramel, toast, metal, esters. Very low bitterness. A failed low ABV Dunkel. No
2.00,5l bottle shared. Apperance: . A very dark brown( almost black) body, with a close to white head on top. Aroma: wort, unfermented sugars and red fruit.
Taste: Sweet, wort, unfermented sugar and red fruit. Feels not done.
(Wonder what could be there if the beer would referemented on the bottle.
Thin body, below average carbonation.
Not good,feels rushed.
2.1Bottle, 3.9%. Clear dark brown with small tan head. Aroma is malt, caramel and bread. Flavour is malt, caramel, bread, sweet, little thin and very little bitter.
1.9A dark (we call it black) beer with syrup. I'm not exactly getting the point, wha there has to ba any additive at all, because there re so many other (and better) Schwarzbier without.
2.0Ładna czarna barwa. W zapachu palone słody, przypalona skórka od chleba. W smaku bardzo karmelowe, ewidentny brak goryczki, przypalony popcorn, przesłodzona kawa. Minimalna piana.
2.0Bottle @ Floris’ Leaving Party. Pours a very dark brown, almost black beer with a very light white head on top. Aroma of wort, unfermented sugars and red fruits. Flavor is just about the same, very worty, lots of sugars, which is fine when this beer needs a secondary fermentation, but not as finished product. Very light mouthfeel, rather disgusting.
3.0Sampled from bottle at Floris’s leaving tasting. Clear dark brown with offwhite head. Sweet wort, nuttiness. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body, very malty and slick.

2.6500 ml bottle on the train to Budapest. Black with whiteish head. Aroma and taste are sweet, burnt sugar, syrup, hay, roasted notes with low bitterness.
Farbe Schwarz- braun, wenig Schaum
Aroma Kaffee, Schoko, etwas Frucht
Geschmack: Etwas Zitrus, viel Kaffee, etwas dunkle Schoko
2.40,5 l Flasche. Aroma: Leichte Röstmalzaromen, brotig. Erscheinung: Schwarzes Bier, cremefarbener, schwammiger Schaum, schöne Gardine.
1.8Bottle @ friends/the chef. Appearance: pours clear brown with short lived soapy beige head and lacing. aroma/taste: caramel, syrup and some bread notes. palette: medium malty aroma, low to average carbonation, medium body, intense sweetness, unbalanced by a low bitterness, average duration and a watery texture. Overall: terrible sweet and unbalanced.
