New Belgium Accumulation

New Belgium Accumulation

Accumulation White IPA was inspired by the white beauty that falls each winter from our Colorado sky. Flurries of Mosaic and Amarillo hops bring soft fruit and citrus flavor, followed by a layer of bitter. Piled high in IBUs, Accumulation will make your winter brighter.

3.8 From old notes. Twelve ounce bottle from mixed six pack purchased at Dent Kroger tasted on December 25, 2017. Lemonade-like color, very assertive aroma of resin and grapefruit peel, very good flavor of resin/grapefruit/some spice. Hop presence could be larger but this is still a very fine beeer.
3.4 Can from Beer Republic. Ok malty, sweet fruity hoppy brew. Clean, good drinkability. Some citrusy notes, some grass, some fruits.

3.3 Light hop aroma. White head with good retention. Light yellow and a bit cloudy. Citrusy hop, bright and a medium bitterness at the end.
3.2 Decent winter beer overall. Flavors are well blended together. Medium body. Average to low carbonation. Pleasant finish. Not bad.
2.0 Juicy grapefruit and bitter
4.1 Lighter than you’d think
3.8 Early rating from Beer Buddy app
0.5 Don’t like
3.1 Nice color remembers of snow medium body, citrus notes with a good hoppy biter after taste
3.1 Pour from bottle is thick hazy yellow with nice head. Mild and smooth body. Light pine and grass. Solid change up.
3.7 Happy holiday party 2019. A white India pale ale that hits the mark. Hoppy notes AOK. Overall a smooth drinking beer that I wish was available all year long.
4.1 Has a very up front hoppy IPA taste. A cloudy, hazy color. Not my type of IPA. Ruth liked it. Has a strong IPA aftertaste.
3.9 12 oz bottle. Pours hazy golden with white head. Body is full and tangy. Taste and aroma is of citrusy hops, bready malt and tropical fruit. Long hoppy finish. Nice brew.
3.4 Draft at Moriartys. Cloudy gold pour with a large fizzy foamy white head. Big mess of lace. Juicy hoppy wheat ale. Lightly toasted caramel malts. Zesty woody floral hops. Oranges. Tangerines. Wheat. Supple spruce tips. Tastes of both an IPA and a Witbier. Not bad but feels disjointed.
3.6 First 12 oz. bottles of New Belgium bought in FL....Woohoo! I wish this was around in the summer. This is an IPA and spiced Belgian white blend. Some piney and grapefruit citrus in the hops, but also seems like there is slight orange flavor in there. An interesting brew, but tasty and very refreshing. Has that light feel, but is actually 6.2%.
3.5 Alluring floral citrus aroma in a light gold pour. Laid back hop forward balance with a dry fruity body and sustained bitter finish.
3.3 To be tasted again.
2.7 ENJOY BY: 24FEB19. Appearance: Pours a hazy, blonde-colored body with a quickly evaporating white head. Smell: Very weakly wheaty, some light graininess. Insubstantial, tenuous wafts of citrus, with an occasion touch of tangerine/orange about it. Taste: Dry, rather mild wheat flavor, very low, light sweetness before the incoming hops, an idle blend of florals, citrus (lemon and tangerine). Moderate bitterness. The mild flavors drop off, leaving only a scant few touches of ground aspirin and grain around for the ho-hum finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation with a bit of tingle to it. Overall: Fairly bland, coming up short all across its aroma and taste profile, sometimes feeling more like a hopped mineral water.
3.3 bottle. Poured pale yellow with a white top. Citrusy herbal aroma. Light-medium bodied, crisp carbonation, lingering pithy finish. A juicy fruity beer with a loads of hops, typical citrus flavours with spicy notes.
2.9 This app is glitchy and not letting me give the scores I want to give; the sliders skip over numbers. Anyway, I strongly recommend drinking this from the bottle as it will cut down on the pubescent teen’s socks smell and make this beer easier to swallow. Save these for after you’re already feeling the previous, better beers.
3.3 Roasted malt with doughy yeast with a citrus hop backbone. Has a crisp finish.
3.3 Pale golden blonde pour with a thin white bubbly head and a spot or two of lacing ..... aroma of floral hops, orange, grapefruit and light tropical notes .... taste is of wheat, orange, grapefruit, tropical notes and light sugary caramel malts .... mild and sessionable .... average
3.2 Found in bottle from Ingles in Waynesville, NC. Pours a nice light fog yellow. Thin white head. Standard hop smell. Decent option for light drinking. May be a better spring than winter beer but remains better than average.
2.9 Crisp copper and light bronze coloured body with a thinnish, single to two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of light grassy and slightly herbal hops with a dash of subdued grainy and earthy malts with a touch of light sugars and very little else - fairly mild in the nose. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal hop notes up front with a big dash of grain and earthier malts with some nuts and more caramelised sugars towards the end, but the hoppiness, while slightly mild and light was noticeable near the end. Aftertaste shows the malts with the earth, light yeast and some nuts, but the caramelised sugar and toffee flavours beat out the light hoppiness that is noticeable at the end, but shows more of a grassy and lightly herbal note that isn't bitter, just showing some character. Overall, a decent beer without much of a profile and no complexity, this is kind of like a 'little stepson' of another more mass-produced Winter IPA - the Sierra Nevada Celebration. Decent to try this one, but will pass it up, unless the recipe changes from year to year? I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Merchant's in Dearborn Michigan on 09-December-2016 for US$1,99 sampled in Dearborn a day later on 10-December-2016.
1.4 Awful taste. Super hoppy with no real flavor - out twice as many hops as needed.
3.5 12oz brown bottle. Hazy yellow, a few little floaties, massive creamy white head, basically a witbier in appearance. Aroma - fruity with citrus. Taste - wheaty, big citrus, a touch of fruitiness. Dry finish with a bitter kick and lingering hops. Creamy body. Overall a nice hoppy wheat ale.
3.7 Hazy yellow pour, strong citrus aroma. Flavor of mild citrus and hops. Refreshing.
1.4 Well....I am drinking it and hoping I don't have a massive "accumulation" land in my jockey shorts.....but you never know. Should this beer have a warning on its label to wear "Depends" while drinking? Possibly....but when you're drinking Blatz wear your "Blousers" (Blatz Trousers, pat. pending) which are pre-stained yellow in the front and brown in the back for your edification and amusement.
3.5 New Belgium Accumulation White IPA This Colorado White IPA is a cloudy gold with a subtle hop profile in the bouquet while the taste is earthy herbal, peppery on a dry medium body. An interesting choice for a winter seasonal.
