When two foodie B Corps join forces for good, delicious ideas are created. Our Salted Caramel Brownie Brown Ale scoops the lip-smacking fun of dessert from a bowl right into your pint glass. Brewed with specialty ingredients and a healthy sweet tooth, this beer’s rich chocolaty, salted-caramel, vanilla goodness is worth savoring to the last drop. Reward yourself, and dig in!

We add cocoa and vanilla powder in the maturation vessel to retain all the delicate volatile aromas and flavors for a big dessert beer blast.

3.4 Bottle. Pours a deep brown that borders on red, frothy cream head, minor lacing left behind. Nose is sweet malt, burnt caramel. Tastes sweet, salty, caramel, roasted barley, oat, hint of vanilla. Decent for a couple brews, but wouldn’t drink all night.
3.5 Tasted at Calgary 2016 Beer Fest. Doesn’t hit you over the head with the caramel flavor, nice beer with only a little bit of the special flavor.
3.0 Clearish brown with nice off-white head. Aroma nutty and caramely with roasted and cocoa notes. Taste definitely has a salt-toffee note, along with caramel and some roast, but I was expecting it to be sweeter, so that was a bit of a let down. Palate retains the salt-toffee note.
3.2 Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer and Beyond shop.Redissh-brown with a beige head. Aroma of caramel, nuts, vanilla and cocoa. Sweet malt, caramel, nuts, toasted bread, vanilla, chocolate flavors, dry-ish finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Decent.
3.2 Bottle sample at a dessert beer tasting at Beer and Beyond, Tel Aviv. Clear deep amber with beige head. Aroma of chocolate cake, caramel and nuts. Sweet and sourish flavor with notes of caramel, a bit salty, some chocolate, coffee and some herbs. Medium to full-bodied.
2.5 A dark brown beer. Thin body and consistency. Smells like a pretzel. Tastes like artificial flavor and coloring. Decent lace and bite. Annoying overall.
3.3 Bottle. Very dark brown. Aroma of nuts, caramel and a little salt, indeed a little like brownie. Tastes salty and nutty and also some vanilla. Full body, alcoholic chocolate cake fonish and lots of carbonation. Nice.
4.5 Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a clear amber brown with a large white head. The aroma is salty caramel malt. The flavor matches the aroma and is very smooth. An excellent beer.
3.0 Poured from a bottle. Clear dark copper color, medium white head. Salty malt aroma. Medium body with a salted malt flavor and a light finish.
3.2 Bottle. Pours dark brown with a frothy tan head that left good lacing. Aroma of caramel, chocolate, vanilla and some nuttiness. Sweet flavor of caramel, chocolate, nuts, light vanilla and notes of saltiness.
3.2 Smell the salt choc and vanilla in this brown clear brew with a small cream colored head. Choc vanilla up front the salt is almost masked by the crispness. The medium bodied brew tastes like ice cream really! Has a choc aftertaste.
3.0 12oz bottle - Pours a medium brown with a white head. Not the aroma I was hoping for considering the name of the brew. Aroma of malt... a hint of chocolate, and maybe some coffee. Not big. Flavors of dark malt and cereal. I didn’t get much else. Still an okay brew.
3.3 Malt, toasted malt and plenty of brownie in the finish. Salt throughout. Caramel malt maybe and a touch of sugar but not tons of caramel sauce. I think built on a red ale base with the hops turned down.
3.0 Bottle from sampler...poured medium brown with tan head...aroma is minimal all i get is light malt...mouth is malt and chocolate...i get no salt or caramel...ok brew.
3.3 12oz bottle. Not much aroma. Medium brown color with light tan head that quickly dissipates. I think I taste a hint of salt, and pretty much a brown ale. Rather thin bodied. Overall, it’s not bad, but not a terribly flavorful beer. The name implies a lot more flavor than there actually is.
3.0 How: Draught. Where: 3 små rum, Göteborg. Appearance: Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma: Caramel, nuts, malt, chocolate, biscuits. Body: Medium, slightly thin, body and carbonation. Flavour: Nuts, liquorice, chocolate, biscuits.
3.0 On tap at St. Augustine’s, pours a dark orangey brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of toasted caramel and salt upfront, either bready malt underneath. Flavour is much the same, with a dry toasted bready caramel malt backbone, with a touch of salt on top. Nothing overly special about this, but it works okay for what it is. Much prefer other Salted Caramel beers, like Breakside’s.
2.5 The aroma is like a standard brown ale no caramel brownie. The appearance is brown. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall standard brown ale.
3.2 Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks Amit. Brown with a beige head. Aroma of cookies, caramel, nuts, a bit of chocolate. Sweetish flavor with nuts, caramel, a bit of chocolate, a bit of cookies, a toasty note, and a drier finish. Medium-bodied.
3.4 Light brown colour with a white light head. Sweet nutty chocolate aroma. Caramel and chocolate notes in the taste.
3.6 This is fun. Rich nose with dessert, fudge and all of it. Pours in almost dark ruby with small white head. Taste lingering and flattering but not so beerish? Like it as a taste experience.
3.6 Pours dark brown in colour, with a frothy tan head. Aroma of nuts, salt, caramel and vanilla. Taste is chocolate, fudge, salted caramel. Finishes with a lingering sweetness. Full body, creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pretty decent.
3.5 Bottle. (Thanks finol) Nice experiment. Tastes like the ice cream... but it works. Salty and creamy. A bit dry. Notes of coffe beans.
3.5 Bottle at Bishop Gamla stan. Pours brown. Sweet, salty and nutty brew. Dark chocolate.
3.6 Bottle Black off white head Aroma salty, coffe Taste salty, expected more serene and more rich texture Like it quite much.
3.5 Poured from the tap. Dark brown with beige head. Toasted malt and mild nuts with a fair bit of caramel sweetness and light salt. A bit artificial, but tasty.
1.8 The best thing about this beer was the name. I don't usually consider pouring beers out but I found myself tempted as I finished it by the sink.
3.2 Draught at 3 Små Rum, Göteborg. Clear brown beer with a nice beige head. Malty caramel aroma, hazelnuts, biscuits, licorice, grapes, some dark chocolate. Roasted chocolate flavor, licorice, caramel, citrus, candy notes. Kinda ok.
2.3 Funky little beer! I wasnt crazy about it but i give it credit for trying something new
3.3 Very sweet aroma. Nice caramel. Some nuttiness. They bitterness in the finish doesn’t quite fit in but isn’t terrible.
