4.2 Classic drinking amber ale with lots of flavor
4.5 Easy drinking beer, sweet and malty, with a hint of citrus/hops at the end. Beautiful foam head and copper color. Light without feeling weak bodied. I really enjoyed it!
3.3 @Steam Whistle Biergärten (ha ha I love the name). Clear amber color, white head. Caramel, malty and nuts.
3.1 12-03-21 // bottle. Thanks! Pretty easy and a bit boring Red Ale. Malt forward. Lower bitterness. Not much hops going on. Medium sweetness. Easy drinkable and solid.
3.7 Twelve ounce can. Pours a beutiful orange \copper with lacing that stick and a head that shrinks a bit in the class. The kind of bear that you want to order on draught and gaze at in the glass under the soft light of a pub The nose senses a bit of raisin. Low bitterness with a nice clean taste and medium mouthfeel.
2.7 Bottle. Medena farba, biela pena. Vona karamelova, zelezita. Chut opat karamelova, zelezita. Dochut jemne horka
3.0 Coppery, to orange rust golden in the glass. Power center stream of rising carbonation. Delicate floral nose, maybe like when you open a window on a cool day in the woods. Thin lacing. To the bland side of taste, similar to a commercial beer, think Heineken or Stella. The smallest of head remains in the glass, which although is vibrant in color and does look appealing to the eye, there’s not much flavor to write about. Very middle of the road finish, and a host would seem gracious - this beer is most adequate to serve at a party as a secondary choice.
1.0 Not a fan
2.3 It is ok. Thought I was getting Belgium White. Not as bad as a lager, but not as crisp as an ale
3.6 Old rating from 31-07-16 - A 330ml bottle brought back from New York City. Pours a cloudy dark amber colour with a white head and lively carbonation. Aromas of malt, raisin and nuts. Tastes of Caramel malt, biscuits , fruits, raisins and nuts with a medium hoppy bitterness in the finish.
4.0 Lighter amber color, toasty malt and caramel tasting notes, overall a slightly lighter and more refreshing taste than you’d expect in an amber lager in comparable beers.
3.2 Bottle as a gift, Malt, caramel and light fruity aroma, Amber color, smaller head, Sweeter taste, light bitter ending, Medium body, soft carbon, Pretty good.
3.4 From the bottle. Probably amber colored. Aroma is quite malty, burnt sugar, mildly hoppy. Taste is well balanced, average sweet, just under average bitter. Medium bodied with equal amount of carbonation. Just very tasty, can't say anything bad about this one. Great go to beer to have in the fridge for any occasion.
3.6 Bottle at a Beermalade virtual tasting. Med-thin body, moderate carbonation. Assertively caramelly maltiness, caramel-centered piece. There is also moderate bitterness, balancing the medium caramelly sweetness. Easy drinking, quite clean. Non-offensive. Light graassy-earthy-resiny hops character. Good but not great.
3.3 Bottled, from Velký/Malý. Lovely clear amber body, some off white head, not particularly lasting. Dry aroma, perfumey caramelly, lightly floral, some yeasty earthy undertones. Soft taste, vague caramel, trace vaguely herbal hops, almost no bitterness, as it worms some soft candied orange touches come along. Why is this a fairly famous beer? Huh. Inoffensive, drinkable, kinda nice, mostly boring.
3.4 Bottle. Amber color with white head. Caramel malt, floral hops, light honey. Taste, caramel malt, medium sweet, light hops.
3.3 Bottle at home. Pours amber color, white head. Aroma of malt and caramel. Taste is medium bitter, medium sweet, caramel, malty.
3.2 Obyc pivo které asi úplně nestalo za to aby jelo přes půl zeměkoule. Nehledě na 10% pro planetu. E-shop americanbeer.cz lahev.
3.4 C: amber N: red apple, light calvados P: ripe apple, light malt, apple juice, rose water
3.3 Bottle. Malty and hoppy aroma and taste, light caramel, light citrus fruit, medium bitter. Medium body, malty and hoppy bitter finish. Ok.
3.3 Can. Dark amber color. Slight malty aroma. Medium to high carbonation. Mild bitterness with a hint of malt and wheat. Dry finish with some malty aftertaste. Quite easy to drink.
3.3 Boa cerveja.
4.9 Love it!
3.3 Darker amber with almost no foam, Sweet malt, almost barrel like, slight pine, vegetation. Smooth with tiny carbon, sweet malt, no hops, sweet Caramel, little bit of scotch hint, slight wild honey. A little bit muted a little bit.
3.2 Very nice clear mellow fruity flavor. The favors are subdued and on the week side. Medium to light body. Average carbonation. Decent!
3.1 Kupferfarben mit weißer Schaumkrone. Getreidiger, malziger, leicht hopfiger Geruch. Geschmacklich getreidig, malzig, leicht hopfig. Leichte bis mittlere Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, leichter bis mittlerer Körper mit sanfter Kohlensäure.
3.3 341 ml bottle poured at home. Pours copper with an off white head. Smell was subtle; some grains. Taste was caramel and malt. Easy to drink but pretty simplistic.
3.4 Pint at the Winking Lizard in Copley, Ohio. Smell a little bit of malt to this beer. Copper in color with a white head. Taste the grain. Some malt also. Smooth and easy drinking off draft. Light malt aftertaste. Nice common beer and will drink again. Cheers!
3.1 35,5 cl. can @ home, bought @ Una Mas, Nieuwegein. Clear dark amber with an off-white head. Malty aroma with some faint hops. Semi-bitter taste with a low-bitter finish. Not very exciting but not bad either.
3.3 Can ordered from De Moersleutel. Low key aroma - there's some spicy malt in there somewhere. Clear bright amber. Frothy off-white head. Immediate sweet edge spice, followed by some low key grainy bitterness. Develops more spice and a sweet citrus edge. Light-medium bodied. Slick if thin. Buoyant soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Somewhat unassuming. It's nice but it feels lightweight in terms of presence. Probably doesn't benefit from being a well known beer that I had expectations for.
