3.4Pours a lightly hazy ruby - nose of esters (baked banana), dark breads, roasted nuts - creamy texture, medium body, soft carbonation - rich toasty maltiness - somewhat dry and toasty, but with some toffee sweetness to it - light bitterness, hazelnut - mild over ripe banana - light spiciness - a touch of huskiness, but it’s very mild - fairly enjoyable bock - nice malt richness to it.
3.3Light body and taste. Brown color on a white head. Mild cocoa notes. Coffee hints. Rather boring but not bad. Probably had too many big beers before this puppy
4.1Being a farmers daughter, I just had to try this one for it’s name!! Not normally a dark beer drinker, but this one got me! Great taste.
4.2Bottle. Subtle chocolate and malt flavors. Very smooth and not too sweet, but still with no edge of bitterness. Good finish and aftertaste. Well-balanced.
3.4Pours dark amber with a huge, foamy, off-white head that stays 'til Jesus comes! Nose is malty and has hints of molasses. Taste is predominately sweet. A bit of a coffee note on the palate. Medium (pushing full) body. Lively carbonation. Honey finish. Very nice.
3.2Pour is dark brown with copper edged, mostly clear with a tight off white head. Nose is toasted grain, sweet malt, and brown sugar. Taste has less grain and a hint musky, a bit sweet, brown sugar, stronger carb, flavors get a hint muted.
3.1Aroma of sweet caramel, mixed with notes of chocolate, and sweet malt. Nut brown color with shades of dark orange, with a unique white head. First taste is muted chocolate and sweet malt. Sweetness is muted quickly with an average bitterness. Finishes smooth with a balanced aftertaste. Might be more enjoyable in fall but nice beer.
3.6[Bottle] Brown in color with a tint of orange to it. Very little head on top. Sweet and sticky aroma of sweet breads, caramel and raisins. Flavor notes include bread, light brown sugar, toffee and some nut. Syrupy, but not cloying. Another good one from this brewery.
3.712oz bottle. Pours a walnut, slightly tan head, bit o’ fizz. Taste is sweet, clear, crisp bock. Very nice.
3.4Clear Dark red/brown with a khaki colored head and mild carbonation; Good lacing. Aroma of caramel malts, chocolate, toffee, barley and mild hoppiness. Flavors of caramel malts, lightly roasted barley, chocolate and a mild hoppiness. Heavy body and carbonation. Decent!
3.4Pours clear red color. Aroma of nuts, caramel, and toffee. This follows onto the palate. A little light on the body for me.
3.6Bottle. Pours clear reddish hazel, medium creamy tan head, dissipates slowly, good lacing. Aroma is nutty caramel toffee. Flavor follows, light sweet, a bit acidic, touch of smoke. Medium body, high carbonation.
3.6Bottle. Pours a medium-deep chestnut color with an off-white head, superior retention and lacing. Nose is caramelly malts, German hops, mildly metallic. Mouth is medium bodied, those same caramel malts, dates, mild sweetness that fades quickly to a toasted bready pumpernickel body . In the Dells, there isn’t really much craft beer to be found besides those from New Glarus... and I could think of far worse problems. Nice little bock.
3.0Enjoying this beer while people around me are talking about diabetic ulcer smell, OOF. Not your fault new Glarus

T: German Malts, Biscuits Mild Caramel
M: Decent Carbonation, Medium Bodied, Watery
Overall, kind of disappointing, for a Bock it was very underwelming and too mild on flavor.
3.6Pleasant aroma, of malt, caramel, toffee. It has a deep cola like brown color. Starts off with a nice sweet caramel flavor, then you get a rich malty taste like cereal. It has a nice spicy herb finish. Solid beer
3.612oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a mostly clear dark amber with minimal head. Aroma of caramel and toffee with a hint of dark fruit. Taste is light sweet. Toffee with a bit of dark fruit. Medium bodied with a somewhat thin texture. Lively mouth-filling carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, not bad. Not my favorite from NG but enjoyable.
3.712 ounce bottle. Pours a darker copper with a thin beige head. Aroma has lots of biscuit and caramel. Taste does too and it leaves a toasty finish.
