4.4 Clear dark purple ruby with an aroma like blueberry cake and a bit of lactic woody barrel. Wonderful flavor of tart blueberry and woody lacto sour tones. A little cake like but wonderfully sour and flavorful.
3.9 Bottle received in a trade, thanks Brandon! -- Bomber poured into a snifter. It’s a beautiful copper with blue/purple colors throughout. Nice sour and tartness, not overpowering. Finishes well, makes you want more.
4.0 From notes on 6/21/15 Smells yummy. Tastes good. Fruity blueberry flavor. Tart. Missing a little something on the back end, but that’s ok.
Superbe.
3.8 2015 vintage. Traverse city. Amber-ruby in color. Small rim of offwhite head. Aroma is lactic and a little funky. Nice oak. Some basement notes. Balsamic vinegar. Some subtle friuty notes. Taste is sour with some underlying sweetness. Body is medium with a thick texture. Long finish. Pretty nice sour. Good balance. Decent complexity.
4.0 Dark red pour from draft at Jerrys. White. Berry, fruity, cherries and happiness on the nose. Sour cherry taste. Tart and makes your cheeks pucker - love it
3.8 Sour cherries notes with some grapes in this beer. Pours deep red like wine. With a reddish head. Smells like cherry a. Had at jerrys
2.2 Smelled of cheap perfume, didn't taste much better. Sour I guess but also badly funky and acetone.
4.0 Une bouteille chez Yan. Merci!
4.0 22oz bottle of 2015 vintage. Pours a reddy brown color with a bit of head. Medium sourness and what seems like a little salt.
3.6 Strong sweet blueberry aroma, light oak and floral smell too. Taste is sour blueberry and light oak.
4.0 Large Format - Dark color, slight reddish ting to it. Mild oak taste with a slight, not very overpowering, tart flavor to it. Tartness lingers around for a while.
3.6 Pretty decent sour, though a bit underperforming on the tart end. Reddish brown, thin head, with light funk throughout and a woody vanilla presence at the end.
3.4 Draft at Tap and Handle. Reddish brown and clear appearance. Aroma of dark fruits, oak, vanilla and light coconut. Similar flavor, fruity, lightly tart and lightly sour. Medium body with a semisweet finish. Not bad.
3.0 Pours dark mahogany-tinged brown into a tulip. Off-white head with little retention recedes to mottle surface. Blueberry and oak aromas. Dry with sour blueberry and oak upfront turning to bitter blueberry seed in the medium length finish.
3.9 Pours a dark tea colour. Aromas of oak, cherry, vanilla, red wine. Very fragrant. Really nice flavours. Sour cherry, bitter oak, red wine, a bit of burnt sugar. Quite delicious.
3.5 Poured a deep purple color with aromas of wet oak, light blueberries, and some tartness. Flavors match the aromas not jaw shocking sour or tart but enough I say hello with some nice tart blueberry presence. 2015 bottle.
3.6 Sample @ EBF. Pours a light copper with a thin white head that leaves fair lacing. Nose is of berries, lightly sweet and generally fruity. Taste is nicely tart, not too intense and lightly sweet even. Fruity and lightly winey/oaky. Both body and carbonation were moderate. Overall a pretty good option, I’d get that again!
3.6 sample @ EBF 2015. almost clear dark golden pour, mahogany tint, with a very nice light beige head offering good retention and lacing. wood-forward ale - tannic and astringent, citric acidity - from blueberries i guess - linear but at a good ph; caramel and toffee maltiness, few danky fruitiness, pepper. light carboantion, light body - oily, tart and pleasantly fruity-grassy finish. not very complex but it’s a nice barrel-driven fruit sour.
3.7 On tap at Hops and Pie poured a clear reddish brown with a small lasting tan head. Aromas of caramel, citrus, light cherry and light horse blanket. Palate was light bodiued and crisp with a dry tart finish. Flavors of straw, cherry, citrus and light barnyard funk with a crisp dry tart lingering citrus finish.
4.0 Poured from 22oz. bottle, a dark amber with ruby highlights. Low off white head that fades quickly. Nose is that of apples, sour cherries, with some floral notes. Mouth feel is thick and oily. Taste is tart up front then smoothes out with some sweet grape notes.

2.6 [ bottle ][ 1oz ][ @DC tasting ][ ? ][ mini tumbler ][ 02.15.15 ] translucent chestnut, large bubbled white ring. Sugary sour cherry nose, lightly dusty with considerable sweetness. Front is thin, juicy cherry, low sourness until mid when citric acid tingles the jaw, thin and sticky in the bright finish, singular but buoyed by zesty carbonation. Way sweet finish, red apple sweetness with tart skin.
4.0 Sharp tart fruity aromas, sour apple, some pineapple, some floral notes. Very dark brown, almost black, beige head has decent retention. Dry, sour. Light bodied, pretty refreshing.

4.0 A mahogany body sports vibrant cranberry highlights gradiating to sunset amber at the edges beneath a short, tight light khaki head falling to a solid ring and a few dots of lace Aromas and flavors of natural fleshy over-ripe fruit, plumb, blackberry, hints of dark cherry, citrus, solid tartness with added depth of oaky barn on a spritzy, juicy, oaky medium-light body creating solid sour-n-sweet residuals of the previously mentioned components, very solid 22oz bottle served at 45º into Orrefors Beer Taster
