3.3 The hop profile is nice, not too astringent. But the malt bill is quite thin overall. Dominion Toronto
3.6 Toronto 12/7 2018. 47,3 cl can from The Beer Store - Ontarios’ version of “Systembolaget” which is even more depressing. You actually feel a little naughty when purchasing beer. A Very naughty, shining neighbor on the can. Pours hazy yellow with big white head. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of foam crawling up the side of the glass. Substantial lacing. Aroma is strong and fruity. Peach and sweet melon. A little perfumed. More subdued citric notes. Grape fruit and lemon. Light carbonation. Soft yet thin texture. On the Verge of being flat. Flavor is medium sweet followed by strong yet pleasant bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Stays with me for a while. A Soft and pleasant APA. A little thin. But as inviting as a Naughty Neighbor.
3.5 Can (473 ml). Pours hazy dark straw with white head and substantial lacing. Nose of sweet crackers, pine, and tropical fruit. Pine upfront followed quickly by light cracker malt underneath in the medium body. Pineapple emerges slowly and asserts itself in the long, dry finish.
3.5 Pale golden yellow pour with a thin soapy white head and light lacing .... aroma of citrusy orange, grapefruit, lemon and pine .... taste is of citrusy orange, pine, grapefruit, lemon and bitter hops .... finish is dry and lemony .... lots of lingering dry lemon, citrusy and rindy
3.2 Seems to better than I remember. Hints of butterscotch in the nose. Smooth, crisp and not too much citrus (like a lot of the new craft APA's.) Finishes quite smooth, little bitterness. Nice light session brew. Tall Boy lcbo TO.
3.9 On numerous occasions in cans. Hazy golden body, medium dense white head with good retention and lots of lacing. Aroma of peaches, pineapple, orange candies, grapefruit, flowers and hints of peppercorn. Taste of grapefruit zest, resins, pineapple juice, yeast and some sugary malts. Full bodied and yet surprisingly light. Never disappoints.
3.4 From tap at Brody's, Den Haag. Aroma is grainy malts and fruity hops with grass and citrussy notes. Good bitterness in the flavour. Body is light to medium. Simple but fine hoppy Golden or mild APA. Looking at some of the other ratings I do wonder if this was in the best condition though.
3.9 Can. Tangerine malt and earthy grapefruit peel aroma. Hazy golden yellow with small head. Mildly sweet tangerine, biscuit malt, and moderately bitter earthy grapefruit peel flavor. Good body. Nice.
2.8 Can pour. Hazy yellow-gold pour with fizzy head. Quite fizzy overall... too carbonated? Very thin and fizzy mouthfeel - not getting much of an ale-like character. However, has nice sharp, mouth-punching hops, and a pleasantly bitter finish. However, I just couldn't get over that mouthfeel... Maybe just not quite my style, but the flavours are certainly there.
3.9 One of the few beers that I like better out of a can than on tap. Always seems a little soapy on tap.
3.5 Can from Beautiful Beers, Bury St Edmunds (online order). It's a gusher, and I get a light God and very hazy beer with a massive white head. Lemon meringue pie with some piney overtones in the aroma. Gentle bittersweet tropical fruit taste which continues to the finish. Pineapple juice in the aftertaste. Very decent.
2.5 Non una gran pale ale, super citrica ma acquosa e non proprio piacevolissima da bere.
3.8 Can: Pours yellow-gold with a tall, chunky, off-white head. Orange, lemon, pine arroma. Taste is soft......citrus, wheat malt,.....a really nice, steady, peel and piney bittering throughout. Very tasty...a great sessionable APA.
3.0 Otra cerveza lupulada típica canadiense, con algo menos de amargor y un buen aroma, pero muy típica.
3.9 Can @ home. Hazy yellow-golden color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste malts, hops, quite resinous and piney, piney bitterness, bitter. Decent to medium body and carbonation. Nice!
3.3 Canned, 473 ml, shared with JFK10000 and others. Pours hazy golden, medium white head. Light hoppiness, citrus, some pine, light maltiness, Medium bodied.
4.6 Clean, crisp and hoppy but not overpowering. Don't hate me but it works as an adjuster/mixer of lighter beers like Rolling Rock. Accidentally poured some RR in my cup at a tailgating before a concert before I finished my NN and was pleasantly surprised.
4.3 Can. Bursting with grapefruit hoppy aroma and flavor. Quite amazing this only has 4.9% ABV. Very astrigent hoppiness. Lingering bitter finish. Bought at LCBO Toronto. I wish they had this in the states.
3.7 Full mango, tropical fruit, citrus, wonderful. Cloudy yellow color, minimal sized white head. Fruit, biscuit, hopped up. Medium body, soft carbonation.
3.9 Cold can served in a pint glass, Golden hazy, white head. Citrus and resin aroma, Similar flavours, juicy mouth feel nice smack on the finish. Eminently sessionable, or "crushable" as I’ve learned to say.
4.1 Very nice citrus kick, some pine, light floral. Light sweet with moderate to light bitterness. Superb balance, awesome refreshing
3.7 For APA very smooth balanced and interesting flavor combination. Some pineapple, some pine wood. Good levels of sweet, bitter and sour.
3.6 Nagy, tartós hab, narancssárga szín. Citrusos, narancsos illat. Citrusos, narancsos, barackos, déligyümölcsös ízek, enyhe gyantás aromával. Könnyű, közepesen szénsavas, közepesen keserű. Finom, gazdag ízvilágú sör.
2.7 500ml can (Alus Celle, Riga). Slightly hazy golden color. Medium size, white head, stays. Citrus, fruity, hops and sweetish in aroma. Citrus, metallic, caramel and fruity in taste. Metallic, caramel and hops in aftertaste. Harsh bitterness. Average brew.
3.5 Can @Bir&Fud Bottega (Rome). Gialla chiara, abbastanza limpida, schiuma bianca media. Al naso note citriche, erbacee e di frutta gialla, leggera resina. In bocca è abbastanza equilibrata, secca, con amaro medio. Corpo leggero, carbonazione media. Ok.
1.8 Pours a rather hazy gold with a big, quickly receding head. Aroma is citrus and pine. Taste is moderately bitter with just a hint of sweet. There are notes of grapefruit rind leading into pine resin, followed by citronella or as someone else described it bug spray. Full bodied, low-medium carbonation. It has a harsh bitterness that catches on the back of the tongue, then eventually diminiahes to reveal the malt, like a mouse beneath an elephant. Did I enjoy this? I did not.
2.8 500ml can (Alus Celle, Riga) (5:3:6:3:11=2.8) Hazy to cloudy straw, brief head. Blandish aroma, messy hops. Soapy hoppy taste, zesty, but harsh. Pleasant metallic bitter bite in the finish. Harsh pale ale, but that’s due to the unbalanced IPA hopping rather than APA yeast. I’d have called this an IPA, not an APA; it’s quite west coast in hop profile.
3.4 Can @ alus celle, Riga. Pours slightly orange with small sticky white head. Aroma: feels a bit dead, hay, dill, caramel. Tropical fruits. Taste: dry, hay, bitter, citrus. Medium body. Like to have fresh one. Bitter finish.
2.1 Wow, really not a fan of this Pale Ale. Seems to have a stink about it, and is unpleasant on the palate. Naughty Neighbour? More like Naughty taste.
