3.5 Bottle from Systembolaget, Östersund. Aroma is quite deep, like ilght smoke in the air and malty feel. Taste is quite nondescript but it is incredibly smooth. Apperance is gorgeous. Was not let down by this beer at all and it could be a very nice light accompaniment to xmas food. ************ Same conditions. felt more darker in flavour this time. more jul öl typ. 3.6 to 3.5
3.3 A little peculiar aroma - spices but difficult to name them. Also a lot of malts.Malty with caramel as the primary taste impression. Some nuts and very light citrus. There is no standard definition of a Christmas beer - anything seems to go for the brewers. It is true to the lager/vienna style but for Christmas beer I prefer a little more body and alcohol

3.4 Bottle at home for a Finish Christmas Eve (Swedish beer was the best I could do!). Bought from ScandiKitchen. Biscuit and caramel aroma. Malty. Dark Amber. Bubbly. Scant traces of a head. Medium bitter with a hint of sweetness, before increasing in bitterness into the finish. Relatively light. Soft, pleasantly carbonated, mouthful. Long finish. Nice beer. Not convinced it’s what I’d go for as a ’Christmas party beer’ though, despite that being the translation of its name.
4.6 A great beer! Great balance on the bitterness and the taste is very good! I am very impressed by this beer! Cheers!
2.8 Toffee, caramel, and fruit aroma. Hints of gingerbread also. Nuts and toffee taste, with hints of grass and paper. Somewhat moldy in the aftertaste.
3.0 330ml bottle. Shiny brown/amber with one finger light brown head. Malty aroma with touches of caramel and Christmas spices. Taste of dark malts, caramel, bitter citrus zest/peel and again Christmas spices (cinamon, cardamon). Medium mouthfeel, medium carbonation and clean finnish with short aftertaste.
2.9 Bärnstensfärgad och klar. Lite metall i smaken och lite Falcon bayersk stil, inget jag gillar direkt
3.1 Bottle from a Systembolaget in Göteborg. A dark amber colour with thick off-white head. Aroma of caramel and hazelnuts. Taste is also of caramel and nuts with a strong grassy bitterness. A little too sweet for me, but still a very pleasant beer.

3.3 Bottle @ home. Dark amber and clear color with an off white creamy head. Malty , sweet and spicy aroma with dark bread, cereal and some fruits in the background. Sweet and medium bodied with medium carbonation. Malty and Spicy with spruce needles, bread, cereal and crackers. Balanced and lasting bitterness.
2.9 Backlog. Bottle tried at Systembolaget. One of the staples of the Swedish winter-seasonals, a hint too spicy for me though.
